Recommendations:

Go ahead and start with the pro version. It's not that much more expensive and the increased cost is well worth it for the features available.

Experience:

The ease-of-use is key when selecting any type of website builder. From there it was important to have a more customized site after learning more about the process of web creation. Drag and drop functionality is great at first, but now the ability to edit HTML/CSS is a distinct advantage. I mainly use: templates, photos, blogging, mobile functionality, videos, and statistics. Weebly has preformed quite well and has gone above and beyond my expectations. The benefits have been increased traffic due to a more professional looking site.

Pros:

The ability to create mobile sites. I have had trouble in the past with builders that did not allow me to create mobile compatible sites without a large increase in cost.

Cons:

A larger variety of templates would be very helpful.

Make it a little cheaper.

Experience:

They try to charge you for everything; you have to pay every time you turn around, it feels like. It lets me build my site and manage my traffic. They are OK, just cost a little too much.

Pros:

The designs are cool.

Cons:

The price is outrageous.

Don't be afraid to ask for help; make sure to read all the guides in the program to help you get started, and to stay on track.

Experience:

I think they have a really great community, resources, and tools to help beginners with what they need. I needed help and assistance with starting off; that's exactly what I got, and I'm grateful for that. I use 24/7 assistance, various building tools, help and the getting started wizard. It has performed very well for my needs, and has done a great job with pretty much no hassle.

Pros:

It just great for beginners and offers many tools for those in need of help.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of so far.

If you want to get a site up to work with minimal computer knowledge and in a short amount of time then Weebly is the product for you.

Experience:

Weebly was recommended through my FaithWriters community. I wanted a product that would allow me to get my site up and running with minimal time and effort involved. I needed to showcase my writing in a unique manner that would allow the reader to assimilate what I offer in a short amount of time. I use the basic web set up. I display my written works and, specifically, an example of my novel along with the means to buy my work or contact me. It is has accomplished what I desired. I like the look of the site and how easy it is to move around in it.

Pros:

Easy of use. Easy to update in a short amount of time. Don't get too bogged down in complicated ways of doing things.

Cons:

Make it easier for me to drive people to my site.

I would tell them to absolutely get on board. It's very easy to get started.

Experience:

I selected Weebly after doing a Google search and looking at websites with tables that listed the features of free website builders. Weebly had the most features for free with the most storage at the time, so I chose them. I use all of the free features. I have been thinking of upgrading so I can get the rest of the features, but I have yet to do so. I want to upgrade mostly to get my own domain name. I have been very happy with Weebly. It was very easy to get started. Once I got a basic page created, it was easy to locate resources that helped me with more advanced features.

Pros:

The free version has many more options than other free website builders, and it is very easy to figure out even for a newbie.

Cons:

I dislike that I have to pay to get my own domain name. I also dislike that I must place ads on my page for the free version. I am pretty sure all free website builders require that though.

Recommendations:

I would recommend anyone to take advantage of all they offer.

Experience:

After carefully reviewing many different websites I chose Weebly. Weebly was much easier to use and had an impressive layout that appealed to what I needed. I found that most websites were a bit pricey for extra features such as adding a domain and statistical data. I use the blogging platform, widgets and social media icons. I also upgraded to have a personal domain registered as well as expanding stats so I can better understand how many come to my page and which pages they interact with the most. So far Weebly has been great to use. I have only had one minor issue that was resolved promptly. Weebly has definitely helped me grow my follower base and allows me to provide great content that can easily be accessed on any device.

Pros:

I like the fact that Weebly has a great team that resolves any issues very quickly and keeps their site up to date. Weebly is a great tool for me because I am a product tester, blogger and brand ambassador. Promoting products and/or brands is my main focus and having a reliable site, like Weebly, is crucial.

Cons:

There is nothing I dislike about Weebly.
