"I chose Google Sites because it is a free service, user-friendly, and there are many resources on the web for help."

Recommendations:

Create a sandbox site first to mess around and try things out.

Experience:

I chose Google Sites because it is a free service, user friendly, and there are many resources on the web for help. I use almost all of the features that are available within the basic Google Sites platform. Google Sites performs very well, traffic to my site has increased substantially.

Pros:

The ease in which it can be edited & ability to share management responsibilities of the site.

Cons:

It is limited in how each page is laid out. I would like more ability to place elements exactly where I want them versus using their page layout options.

"For what I need, it just about does it all!"

Recommendations:

I would recommend the Google's search engine before any other and the free website creator as one of the easiest available especially for beginners.

Experience:

I have all the Google accounts and it just made sense to use Google Sites, besides the fact that it was free. I have had no major problems with Google and it just seemed the way to go. I use Google Plus, the website builder, and the search engine. I have had no problems with Google's website builder. I have a website and email through Google.

Pros:

It is easy to use and incorporate into what I need or what I am doing. For what I need, it just about does it all!

Cons:

Right now it meets my needs and I cannot think of anything at this time to improve it.
