Be aware of the costs involved before you get started.

Experience:

It's a well-known brand, and since I was a beginner at building and designing websites, I figured that it would offer the clearest, most systematic process. I also sourced my domain name and email through GoDaddy. I am still in the process of figuring everything out but already the email has been useful by giving my business a more professional look.

Pros:

Clear and simple set up processes, somewhat affordable rates, and high amounts of customer feedback. I like how straightforward is.

Cons:

I wish it offered more free options, or at least cheaper prices.

I'd recommend it for a basic site, but you can't make anything too fancy. It’s not the most sophisticated tool.

Experience:

I chose GoDaddy because of a previous experience I had with the platform building a site for a company I used to work for. This was a personal music site, so the only problem was getting it set up for people to hear my music. I use all the basic features and templates, along with some of the email marketing tools for getting my music out to the masses. It has performed reliably well, and provided valuable analytics to help gauge user activity.

Pros:

It's just easy to use and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Uploading certain file types can result in formatting problems that are hard to correct.

Try it out because seeing is believing.

Experience:

GoDaddy allows for new users to create a site at their own pace. It is also forgiving that a mistake does not cause you to have to start over again. The site looks like someone beyond a beginner designed it. GoDaddy also allows for easy updates, which I like for blogs. I use the website statistics the most. They have some nice features but I need to know statistics on different blog subjects so I can optimize my content and develop a greater audience. I have set it up and it was very easy. I really like the structure and the ability to modify it with limited effort as my knowledge evolves.

Pros:

GoDaddy makes it easy for someone with no knowledge to set up a site. It is demotivating when something is tough and you don’t have support so GoDaddy was a huge relief in getting this going quickly.

Cons:

I cannot think of something that needs improvement, currently.

Password protection would really make it better. Security is kind of weak now and it would make me feel a whole lot safer if it were improved.

Experience:

I selected GoDaddy because I have a friend who created his website with them and told me it’s the best of the best. I just needed help with the whole process of creating a website, and how to make it the best, given what I am capable of. The access to 300 themes and templates, as well as the 24/7 support, and the ecommerce tools are all greatly appreciated. GoDaddy has been great! It’s easy to use and the dollar hosting really helps me out cost-wise. With the templates and stuff GoDaddy offers, I’ve made a website that has drawn people in – at least I like to think so.

Pros:

Hosting is only a dollar, the templates are good, and support is available 24/7.

Cons:

The designs are basic, and you can’t switch all the themes without losing your content in the process.

DO IT! I sat around for quite a while before actually checking into them. Don't make the same mistake that I made. I started getting jobs the first week I launched my site. I could have been getting jobs the whole time I was sitting around wondering if I should try them or not. DO IT!

Experience:

I had just started up my business and had just created my Facebook page. I then realized that I wanted a professional looking website. The problem that GoDaddy solved was giving me or anyone the tools necessary to build your own website. From a beginner to someone like me that has quite a bit of knowledge, GoDaddy makes building a website extremely easy. Their templates make it very user friendly. I use their hosting and I also got my domain name there. I also used their website builder templates for ideas on laying out the pages on my site. It has performed way beyond what I expected. Their customer service was better than everything else. (I didn't have to use customer service because of something they did wrong. It was something I didn't understand.) The benefits are hearing people tell me that they like my website and the biggest benefit is when money goes into my PayPal account from work that resulted from information on my site.

Pros:

It has everything to get on the web. You can start out with hosting, then acquiring your domain name, then actually building your website with the "website builder", and finally launching the site. Any of these steps can be done in several places on the internet but for the money, (which is the lowest I've found so far), and the one-stop-shop feature, you can't beat the value. PERIOD.

Cons:

I don't have a single thing that I can say is wrong or can be improved. If you want a very nice and professional looking website, just go there, and try it. There's usually a free trial, or there was when I considered them. Pay the $9 or $10 and whatever minimal charges for add-ons and enjoy being on the web.

Go for it, but you get what you pay for. If you want a professionally built website pay someone to do it for you but if you want to handle it yourself and know how, this will work

Experience:

GoDaddy Website Builder offers the best prices when it comes to building your own website. It is truly a hassle-free experience. They also have great tutorials to help with the process. I believe you pay for what you get here. Sure, the tools and graphics could be enhanced but then you should pay for a more professional website builder. GoDaddy delivers for the cost. The builder itself as well as the web design templates are the best features. I was trying to build a page for personal use. I plan to launch another site later and GoDaddy’s site has helped me generate new ideas.

Pros:

It has helped me to bridge gap between here and future aspirations.

Cons:

I haven’t had any problems with them.

Recommendations:

I would say it's a good jumping off point for those that are looking to make their first website, and if they want to get to know the ins and outs of website design they should start there.

Experience:

My primary reasons for choosing GoDaddy are because of prior use working with it for past jobs and the recommendations of friends and family that have also used their website builder or who had bad experiences with other website builders. My biggest problems that needed to be solved were just general use issues and that the computer I was initially working on had a difficult time being used for any form of design. The computer issue has since been remedied. I use their built-in features that they provide primarily, like the basic frames and base pages as well as widgets in their builder. GoDaddy’s Website Builder has lived up to my expectations as far as what I've paid for their services and what they agreed to offer. They’re not as good as an extremely high-end website builder, but decent for the price. The only benefits I could note are loyalty discounts on certain services.

Pros:

I think GoDaddy is probably a great value for what I pay, and I imagine its ease of use is both within the capabilities and budget of even first time users. I don't have much time to work on websites, so how easy it is becomes very beneficial.

Cons:

I feel like there isn't much I would expect to change. Like I said you get what you pay for, and I think GoDaddy provides reasonable content for its price. I don't think a lot of their builds look extremely polished in comparison to other web builders but that's to be expected.

Do all the research you can before deciding on a website builder.

Experience:

I used them because I needed to make sure that my page was getting traffic and that I was doing everything correctly. I used the customer service heavily. I think it’s been amazing. A lot of people have come to my blog and some have given me good feedback.

Pros:

It makes it easy to edit your website.

Cons:

I think if it was less expensive it would help a lot.

Recommendations:

In my research and past experience, GoDaddy has been the best value when it comes to website builders.

Experience:

My reason for choosing GoDaddy was the quality for the price. It has been fairly easy to operate, no major problems. Though, it is occasionally slow to upload changes. I just have a basic package. I did pay extra for more marketing exposure but don't believe much came from the additional purchase. GoDaddy Website Builder has performed well for the price of the site. I would refer them to others. I used VistaPrint in the past and had more problems with uploading pictures and navigation, although they did have a good support team.

Pros:

It is fast and easy to use for the price.

Cons:

The layouts of the templates for spacing are very rigid. It would be nice to be able to adjust them faster and more easily.

I would tell anyone if they want to make the website exactly their way and easy to use then go with GoDaddy.

Experience:

I chose GoDaddy website builder because it was recommended by friends. They had said that it was very easy to use and you would be able to develop your website your way. The problem I was trying to solve was that I wanted to show my information about my blog and and I wanted to figure out how to get that information out to people that would be interested. The biggest assets have been the ability to have different designs that would entice people to visit my site and the programs that allowed me to update the website whenever I needed to. The site has performed exactly as I needed it to. The staff took all of what I wanted on the site and did what I wanted. The benefits I received were the ability to get a blog out there that people could read.

Pros:

They took the information I gave them and they did it exactly how I wanted. It was easy and something I enjoyed using.

Cons:

I didn't dislike anything. I think that some of the processes they used could be improved.
