Recommendations

I would recommend they look for another option.

Experience

I originally chose GoDaddy Website Builder because GoDaddy furnished my url. It just was extremely difficult to use, very confusing, and not worth the price paid. I don't recall, a third party now manages it. The service was very confusing, hard to use, and hard to navigate. Once I got through it though, the site looks amazing!

Pros

It was frustrating as a whole.

Cons

It was too expensive and needs a way simpler user interface and easier commands.

Recommendations

I recommend GoDaddy to anyone needing any kind of website.

Experience

I chose GoDaddy for my website because it is by far the most comprehensive, yet easy to use website builder I have worked with. I have worked with many other site builders but Godaddy is by far the easiest to work with and has a TON of customization options available. My website has a high need for flash and information collecting, and Godaddy meets these needs AND more. I'm overly satisfied..I use the flash features, the "Cart" option, and the "Store" option. Since I've been with GoDaddy, my sales have increased by more than 42%! GoDaddy has performed well above my expectations and my sales have increased tremendously as a result of GoDaddy.

Pros

I love the fact that there is not one thing I can ask GoDaddy to do and they not be able to do it. Anything your website needs, Godaddy can provide.

Cons

There is literally nothing I dislike about GoDaddy.

If you are considering building your own website, go with GoDaddy; their instructions are easy to follow, and it's very thorough and will meet your needs.

Experience

Well I love GoDaddy. First, I"m a first-time website builder and a bit clueless. When working with them, they give you step by step instructions. They started with essential steps: first steps, add a page, text, image, link text, organize pages and menus. I had no idea how to do any of these things, and they made it so much easier for me. Then, they led me to fine tuning my website, customizing my navigation menu, changing site background and page settings, adding buttons and shapes, and how to back up my website.

Then, they schooled me even further on website building, adding slide shows and photo galleries, adding apps, adding a facebook page, even HTML code to a page. So, I would probably need guidance to do it again, but they are thorough, and easy to understand. When I finished building my site, it came out great, and I was definitely smarter from the experience. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who wants a good website builder.

I use automatic subscribe/unsubscribe to a newsletter, site search engine, feedback forms, discussion forms, password protected private areas, and self-selected FAQs. It has performed great; I have an amazing contact list and have developed a nice return consumer base, and I get great feedback from people who come to the site.

Pros

Like i said earlier, they taught me how to effectively build and upkeep a website.

Cons

I really don't have any cons.

Recommendations:

Password protection would really make it better. Security is kind of weak now and it would make me feel a whole lot safer if it were improved.

Experience:

I selected GoDaddy because I have a friend who created his website with them and told me it’s the best of the best. I just needed help with the whole process of creating a website, and how to make it the best, given what I am capable of. The access to 300 themes and templates, as well as the 24/7 support, and the ecommerce tools are all greatly appreciated. GoDaddy has been great! It’s easy to use and the dollar hosting really helps me out cost-wise. With the templates and stuff GoDaddy offers, I’ve made a website that has drawn people in – at least I like to think so.

Pros:

Hosting is only a dollar, the templates are good, and support is available 24/7.

Cons:

The designs are basic, and you can’t switch all the themes without losing your content in the process.

Be aware of the costs involved before you get started.

Experience:

It's a well-known brand, and since I was a beginner at building and designing websites, I figured that it would offer the clearest, most systematic process. I also sourced my domain name and email through GoDaddy. I am still in the process of figuring everything out but already the email has been useful by giving my business a more professional look.

Pros:

Clear and simple set up processes, somewhat affordable rates, and high amounts of customer feedback. I like how straightforward is.

Cons:

I wish it offered more free options, or at least cheaper prices.

Try it out because seeing is believing.

Experience:

GoDaddy allows for new users to create a site at their own pace. It is also forgiving that a mistake does not cause you to have to start over again. The site looks like someone beyond a beginner designed it. GoDaddy also allows for easy updates, which I like for blogs. I use the website statistics the most. They have some nice features but I need to know statistics on different blog subjects so I can optimize my content and develop a greater audience. I have set it up and it was very easy. I really like the structure and the ability to modify it with limited effort as my knowledge evolves.

Pros:

GoDaddy makes it easy for someone with no knowledge to set up a site. It is demotivating when something is tough and you don’t have support so GoDaddy was a huge relief in getting this going quickly.

Cons:

I cannot think of something that needs improvement, currently.

Recommendations:

I'd recommend it for a basic site, but you can't make anything too fancy. It’s not the most sophisticated tool.

Experience:

I chose GoDaddy because of a previous experience I had with the platform building a site for a company I used to work for. This was a personal music site, so the only problem was getting it set up for people to hear my music. I use all the basic features and templates, along with some of the email marketing tools for getting my music out to the masses. It has performed reliably well, and provided valuable analytics to help gauge user activity.

Pros:

It's just easy to use and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Uploading certain file types can result in formatting problems that are hard to correct.

DO IT! I sat around for quite a while before actually checking into them. Don't make the same mistake that I made. I started getting jobs the first week I launched my site. I could have been getting jobs the whole time I was sitting around wondering if I should try them or not. DO IT!

Experience:

I had just started up my business and had just created my Facebook page. I then realized that I wanted a professional looking website. The problem that GoDaddy solved was giving me or anyone the tools necessary to build your own website. From a beginner to someone like me that has quite a bit of knowledge, GoDaddy makes building a website extremely easy. Their templates make it very user friendly. I use their hosting and I also got my domain name there. I also used their website builder templates for ideas on laying out the pages on my site. It has performed way beyond what I expected. Their customer service was better than everything else. (I didn't have to use customer service because of something they did wrong. It was something I didn't understand.) The benefits are hearing people tell me that they like my website and the biggest benefit is when money goes into my PayPal account from work that resulted from information on my site.

Pros:

It has everything to get on the web. You can start out with hosting, then acquiring your domain name, then actually building your website with the "website builder", and finally launching the site. Any of these steps can be done in several places on the internet but for the money, (which is the lowest I've found so far), and the one-stop-shop feature, you can't beat the value. PERIOD.

Cons:

I don't have a single thing that I can say is wrong or can be improved. If you want a very nice and professional looking website, just go there, and try it. There's usually a free trial, or there was when I considered them. Pay the $9 or $10 and whatever minimal charges for add-ons and enjoy being on the web.

Just give it a try. From a beginner to someone who is a pro at building web sites, this site has it all.

Experience

It is fast, easy, and reliable. If you are a person with little experience building web sites, this is the one for you. It's easy to follow step by step guides and help sections will have you up and running in no time! I have tried and used all the features. Every one has its uses but; I cannot pick one that I like over the rest. This service has done exactly what I expected. I run a simple, info-type web site, and my hits have almost doubled since I started using GoDaddy.

Pros

Pros are ease of use and the ability to adapt to whatever I am working on and or building.

Cons

So far, I have had no problems with the site what so ever.
