I’m the founder and CEO of a technology provider company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Zignuts Technolab?
We wanted to develop a customer journey and flow management mobile application.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially provided Zignuts Technolab with the requirements and the features we needed, which were documented on our side. We also gave them the wireframes and backlog that contained all the features so they could start development.
The app is a customer flow management and bookkeeping system. Customers can book their appointments and virtual ticket before they go to the service provider. It’s a native app, so it’s available on Android and iOS.
What is the team composition?
We have full-time resources for this project. During the peak time, we had ten people working, and it hasn’t gone below six.
The CTO has overlooked things and been involved in the project. Also, we have a technical lead, a business analyst, a part-time designer, and back-, frontend, and full-stack developers.
How did you come to work with Zignuts Technolab?
We interviewed different companies from different countries, and we liked how Zignuts Technolab took the time to understand the project before moving forward with the scope. They thoroughly studied our requirements and suggested the right technologies for us.
Then, they sent us all the documentation about how they saw the project from their point of view. We had a couple of sessions to discuss, brainstorm, and modify things. We liked that they took the project seriously, gave it the attention, and put in effort and know-how towards its success.
Also, they were cheaper than others when it came to price comparison.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent between $80,000–$90,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2020, and we launched the app in March 2021. However, our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We‘ve had over 35,000 downloads so far. Our rating is around 4.4 in the Play Store and 4.5 in the Apple Store. Also, we’re now scaling the product.
How did Zignuts Technolab perform from a project management standpoint?
During development, we had weekly meetings to review the scope and plan for the next period. The CTO was on top of any issues. He attended every meeting until we launched the application.
Overall, they’re available whenever we need help and support, and the CTO is very experienced with technologies and backend architecture. They also give us that support, so we feel confident that the architecture is solid and scalable. Overall, it’s been good, and we are happy.
We use Slack and Jira for communication and project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
From our experience, Zignuts Technolab is familiar with what’s going on in the ecosystem and an expert with the latest technology. They’re up to date in machine learning, AI, and integration with other platforms, which we needed to enhance some core features.
The attention and thought they give to the project make them stand out from the crowd. We interviewed several companies, and some just gave us a financial proposal. We felt that they didn’t go into the details or care about understanding the features required, which could cause a lot of hiccups and challenges in the future.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Maybe they need to understand scalability better. The product is scalable to a certain point, but it could be much more beyond that. They should strategize the resources and skillsets needed to match the future expectations of the project.
Going forward, they shouldn’t underestimate the work and architecture required. For now, it’s good, but they should consider a more solid approach towards the project’s success as we go on.

Meet with them twice a week at a minimum and have short series of sprints rather than once every two weeks.

I’m a business development manager at NKN International Co. Ltd. We’re a startup, and we're based in Bangkok, Thailand.

We hired Zignuts Technolab to build an app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with an idea, and it evolved as we worked on it. The concept and the development happened in parallel. When we decided to work with Zignuts Technolab on the first phase, we ended up developing our concept further.
They’re currently developing a rewards and wellness marketplace, and we’re learning what features we should offer to our users. We're also going to work on a web platform in a couple of weeks. The platform will have real-time location tracking, and users can earn rewards from their exercise efforts. It will also have API integrations with Garmin, Apple Watch, and more.
What is the team composition?
We usually work with 4–8 people from Zignuts Technolab. The team's size changes depending on the project's stage.
How did you come to work with Zignuts Technolab?
I looked at a few articles and company profiles on LinkedIn. Then, I contacted 4–5 companies and had video calls with three. One was based in Vietnam and one was in the Philippines. I also looked at their online presence and their body of work.
When I spoke to Zignuts Technolab's business development executive, they seemed more capable of guiding us. Since we didn't have any technical background, we chose the team because of their expertise and their flexibility to accommodate our needs.

We communicate through Skype, Google Meet, and Zoom. They’re able to manage the project quite well, and they’re flexible in doing what’s needed to make the project go further. We also appreciate their transparency.
At the beginning stages, we've had a project manager who just followed instructions. When we asked them to advise us more because they were experts, they've been able to work much better after our feedback.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have an extensive breadth of work, and they’re willing to take work from both startups and big companies. We've also been impressed that they allowed us to pay on a milestone basis. Their services are not cheap, but their pricing is very reasonable. Overall, they're a solid team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’d like to have more confirmations by email. However, there’s nothing major that comes to mind. We’re quite satisfied with Zignuts Technolab's outputs, and we’ll recommend them to our associates.

We’ve worked with developers that had trouble understanding what we wanted, but Zignuts Technolab is very good at working out what we need and what we want. I can’t think of anything. I’m very satisfied with their work. They even said that if I ever come up with a project that requires new skills to recruit somebody that has them.

I would say just give them a nice detailed specification document so that you've got something to work off. It’s also helpful to set up communication channels and meetings, especially if there’s a time difference between you.

I’m the CEO of a SAAS provider. We do anonymous visitor identification, call tracking, email tracking, and review managing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Zignuts Technolab?
Based on our architecture, we’d written our frontend in Angular 1. Google changed the framework, so we were forced to re-write our frontend so it could still be compatible. We sought out a partner to rewrite it to a different technology, which is when we found Zignuts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, they started with one of our interfaces back in July of last year. We successfully deployed that completed project and started working on our main interface. They worked on UI, HTML graphic design, and the frontend JavaScript development that goes along with that. We’re about halfway through. They also provide project management.
