Zazz has advised us to use React Native so that the app can be scaled for other devices, including desktops, in the future. They’ve finalized a few wireframes. The app will be different from other popular dating apps; it will include regional matching and patriotic compatibility capabilities. Other platforms are seen as casual dating apps, but we're trying to bring true companionship into the dating app industry.

Zazz’s work is perfect. The product is still in the development phase, but their work has been impeccable so far. They’ve delivered what they said they would in their initial roadmap. Zazz has been very good so far.

How did Zazz perform from a project management standpoint?

Communicating with Zazz is very convenient. I have one point of contact, the project manager, who I communicate with via email, Skype, and phone calls. I only interact with the team if I have any specific technology-related questions or if there is a feature I need.

Zazz delivered everything on time. If I requested a change, it was delivered within a week.

Zazz’s pricing is very cost-efficient.

1. Planning and Strategy: In this phase, Zazz worked with us to define the project requirements and goals, research the market and competitors, and created a detailed project plan. This phase included the following deliverables:
   • Project scope and requirements document
   • Wireframes and user flow diagrams
   • Project timeline and budget
2. Design Phase In this phase, Zazz’s design team created the visual elements of the app, including the user interface, color scheme, typography, and other design elements. This phase included the following deliverables:

ZAZZ provided a comprehensive suite of services, including UI/UX design, mobile app development, and website development, and delivered high-quality work. They designed the user interface and experience for our software project, including wireframing, prototyping, and iterating on designs until the final product met our requirements.

They developed a mobile application for our property management company, building native apps for iOS and Android platforms, as well as creating a responsive design for various screen sizes. Additionally, they developed a website for our company, building a custom CMS, creating a responsive design for desktop and mobile devices, and integrating various features such as contact forms and lead generation tools.

ZAZZ delivered a set of high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to help us visualize the final product, and a fully functional mobile application with all the features and functionality we required, including push notifications, user authentication, and integration with backend APIs. They also delivered a fully functional website with a custom CMS, responsive design, contact forms, and lead generation tools.

We saw an opportunity in America to generate revenue with our staffing services, so we were trying to create a unique platform where healthcare facilities could easily hire professionals, from administrative staff to doctors.

Zazz is helping us develop our web and mobile app. This is primarily a B2B app. On it, we’ll connect hospitals, healthcare facilities, healthcare professionals, and patients. Initially, we brainstormed ideas and worked on the concept, and Zazz helped us throughout the process, which included having 2–3-hour meetings.

We originally wanted to build the mobile app for iOS, but I also wanted it to be compatible with Android. Therefore, we’ve requested Zazz to develop both. As for the technology stack, they’re using React Native, MongoDB, and Node.js.

There are two aspects that are very good about Zazz’s work. One is their research work; they’ve done a great research on the online education niche and provided us with great ideas to improve our operations. The second aspect is their technology skills; they’ve provided great feedback on which technologies could work better for us, and their angle is great.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very happy with Zazz’s work in terms of the design prototypes they have presented and how users flow between point A and point B. We haven’t implemented them yet, so we don’t have any numbers, but I can say that the app and website are very good and have met our expectations.

Zazz’s communication is prompt and great. Regarding tools, we use Skype, email, and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zazz’s team provides out-of-the-box ideas and is forward-thinking. They’ve also been able to define what we’ll do and explain how that’d impact our target audience. 

In addition, one of the things I like the most about their work is that they’ve implemented dashboards and rankings. This allows us to show data for our customers, which is very helpful in attracting more customers and users to our site. They did great research on what the pinpoints of our audience are.

Our company buys, sells, and stores gold. We initially did all of this manually. We hired Zazz to help us digitize our processes and make our services more accessible to people.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Zazz for a full-blown design, discovery, and development project. We started the engagement by describing our goals, after which we went through a discovery phase and discussed the process of our digital transformation.

Zazz then built the mobile app from scratch using React Native. It’s a digital platform where users can sign up and buy and sell gold. We’ve recently soft-launched the app's first version, and the reception has been great. We’re also planning on working with Zazz for the app’s second version and marketing.

We’ve only done an internal launch, so the app is not available to the public just yet. However, Zazz has solved all of the technical difficulties we were facing. They’ve met our expectations, and the app has definitely streamlined all of our processes.

Zazz has performed well in terms of project management. They communicate effectively, take all of our requirements and needs into account whenever we have our weekly meetings, and are highly receptive to our feedback.

We’re impressed with Zazz’ excellent project management and communication skills. We’re amazed by Zazz’ ability to bring our vision to life. It’s everything that we had hoped for.

They’ve used Figma for the design. The app is a hybrid for iOS and Android built on React Native, MongoDB for databases, and Node.js.

We’ve worked mainly with one teammate since the design phase. We’ve also worked with a design lead and a designer. However, during our meetings, we mostly communicate with the project manager and design lead. The development phase started recently, so we’ve just interacted with the project manager and project coordinator.

We’ve spent between $70,000–$80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our discussions for the design phase in early June 2022. The actual work began in July 2022, and the design ended in August 2022. The development phase started in late October 2022; it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve already tested the design with some friends, but development is still in process. We haven’t launched, so we don’t have metrics. 

How did Zazz perform from a project management standpoint?

They stay on budget, and we haven’t had issues in terms of deadlines. Moreover, they’ve been trustworthy and transparent from the beginning. They use Jira as an internal project management tool and provide a sheet document with all the project’s information. We mainly communicate through Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They stand out for their transparency and patience. Overall, we like that Zazz cares about the details. They’re great at explaining everything they’re doing. Even for the tools they use, they explain why they’re using that particular tool.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To be honest, I don’t have anything to say in that regard. So far, so good.

Communication is key. We had several hours of meetings during the discovery phase to understand what we wanted. When we got the delivery, we could see that we were all on the same page.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zazz is building our application for iOS and Android using React. We initially gave them little information; we didn’t know how the application could work or how it could turn out. We explained our business model and requirements. Mainly, we needed the ease of delivery, so the UX/UI had to be convenient for users.

After our first meetings, Zazz shared some working wireframes to guide us on how the entire platform could look like. They’ve used Figma and included all the elements we discussed. Currently, we’re still in the design phase, so we haven’t moved to development yet.
