I am the co-founder of a video production company in Chicago, IL.

For what projects/services did your company hire YoJonesy?

We required a top-to-bottom re-design and re-development of our website and some ancillary marketing page efforts. We needed a team that could handle all aspects.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We selected YoJonesy because of their expertise in UI/UX, and their overall development chops. We have some future plans and wanted a team that could handle it all.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Our project is an in-progress, multi-stage website redesign. Starting with a site analysis by the YoJonesy team to identify areas of improvement (how, why, etc..) not just from a design perspective, but from a site structure angle, as well as technical, under-the-hood improvement that can be made to speed up our site, and improve our chances of ranking higher in google via a range of other technical metrics.

Once the initial assessment was complete, we broke the site into two phases of re-design. The first phase commenced with some design concepts, and a deeper understand of the technical improvements that could be made, and at what cost. After we approved page by page design mockups and navigation functionality, the page designed were finalized, and then given to the dev team to code them into a staging site. Extensive testing was done by YoJonesy to ensure everything looked great. Desktop, mobile, and tablet versions of the site were all created. They look incredible!!

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked primary with Stacey Billups as the creative director and team leader, and Natalie Nuding as our lead designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw a significant increase in year-over-year growth in organic web traffic and we attribute much of this success to YoJonesy. Plus we rank dramatically higher across several dozen keywords and phrases than before our engagement.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between our teams was effortless. We shared a slack channel and they were incredibly communicative with our whole team through every step of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What's most impressive about YoJonesy is the people. They're smart, creative, and kind. Exactly the type of people you want to work with over a long period of time on a complex project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. They are fantastic.
