Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the owner of a blog website that tries to help people to start their business journey.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xplication, and what were your goals?

We decided to hire the guys from Xplication because we needed a website fast, modern and pleasant with our readers. We wanted the website to be built on the WordPress platform to be easy for us to post articles.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We give to all of the vendors that we disguise about this project a pre-project job. From this, we wanted to see which one can get the job done as fast as they can and also following our strict instructions. Xplication passes that test and this was the decisional factor. Also, the price that we agree on was fair for what they said that can offer.

When we contact them about this job they ask us about all the features that we want after that we give them the pre-project job where they had to make the logo and the footer from the home page. We give them all details about how it should look and we ask them to do it in one-week maximum. They did it in five days, we were surprised and that made us decide to work with them.

After the project begins they start to ask us about all details about how the website should look, move and work. We told them that we want on WordPress because it will be easy for us to work with. We also ask them to help us with all the plugins that we need to make our website look and work well. We ask them also for a Mailchimp connection. We wanted to send automated emails to all our subscribers whenever a new article is posted. They never said that they can't do something.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were in touch straight with the CEO, Bala Alexandru. He helped us to understand how the website works and how we should build it to be easy for our readers to interact. Also behind the scene was a web designer which builds the logo exactly how we described it.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After they helped us with the website, the average session duration increase by 89%, and also we saw that the visitors that return increase by 33%.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

About the communication betwen us and Xplication, I can say only that they respected my terms. I don't like to be pissed off every day about things that we already disguised so we had weekly meetings where we disguised the plan for the following week. We usually stable a weekly goal build from the other four or five smaller steps. I liked that they asked all the time about details, from home big to be a button to how much to set the margin for a photo.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked that they respected everything that I asked for. Also, I liked that they were focused on this project and didn't let any small detail undisguised and unsolved.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I already disguised with them about this at the end of the project and I told them that they need to grow their team. I saw it, for Alexandru is a little too stressful to manage projects and also to lead the business because are so many requirements on both sides.

I am the CEO of the company, we teach people how to take care of their gardens and we also provide them the best flowers available on the market.

Our website was using an older platform and it couldn't be update, so we decided to switch to WordPress and use WooCommerce to sell our products

There were a recommendation

After a series of discussions with them we accepted their recommendation to switch to a new platform.

In total, we worked with 2 people, one designer and a developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The overall look is much more user-friendly. Site traffic has increased, and we continue to hear positive feedback and compliments from visitors about the design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had phone calls, but most of the feedback was through Asana. Everything was delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Things could always be done faster, but quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a beautiful product. They always had a solution for everything.
