Watersedge at Campbell's Stores
Re-brand of events space located within the iconic Campbell's Stores, located in The Rocks, Sydney. The newly created Brand must also include a functional application to identify the Events Space within a multi-faceted precinct with many existing food and beverage offerings. Operated by The Venues Collection, it was imperative that we incorporated the collective’s strict ethos of exquisite service, high quality food and beverage and effortless organisation delivered by teams of highly trained staff. Speaking to both Corporate and Social Markets, we tailored a Brand that invites accessible luxury and is fluid to the needs of the consumer.

APRA AMCOS
Our mission was to co-ordinate photographers, film crews, event managers and PR teams across three international cities and develop a content catalogue.Held in Los Angeles, Nashville and London, the APRA Music Awards recognise songwriters and publishers that have achieved artistic excellence and outstanding success in international markets.

The XO have been amazing at building our digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on structure and test & learn. They took time to understand our business and build the right Google Ads search terms for us to get the best value from our marketing budget.

We spoke with four vendors and selected the XO based on their expertise but also the interaction, which was easy and friendly. They felt like a partner from the start.

They did an audit of our website, Google Ads, Google Analytics and LinkedIn. They presented a well structured plan, with progressive test and learn, providing monthly insights and ad-hoc check ins on the performance of leads.

We mainly work with with one team member, a Digital Specialist.

The engagement is still pretty new but leads have been of good quality and I have a sense of clarity of our digital strategy, whereas before I felt a little in the dark.

While the project is too new to have measurable results at this point in time, it's just leagues from what the client had originally before we begun this project.

We hired The X/OVER Agency to build our brand, product and packaging design, our website, and social media tiles.
How did you select The X/OVER Agency and what were the deciding factors?
I reviewed 3 different proposals, and after meeting with the X/OVER Agency I chose them based on their friendly team, affordability and previous design work I saw of theirs.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After a couple of initial zoom meetings (during our Melbourne lockdown) the X/OVER Team and I decided on a plan to move forward to get the branding, packaging, website and social media for my company looking just right and cohesive. Throughout the constant changes, midnight emails a mile long from me and more changes, the X/OVER Team were patient, generous, hand working, very creative and talented and always super helpful.
We had many delays from my end and the team were always gracious and patient with it all. The website, brand, packaging design and social media all look incredibly beautiful because with every little idea I had around my brand, they managed to take that idea and turn it into something incredibly bold and beautiful. They always managed to turn my ideas into exactly what I wanted even though I didn't really have a clear idea of what I wanted. Magicians!

I worked with 4-5 people from The X/OVER Agency. The General Manager, the Head of Strategy, the Head of Design, and a Designer.

I am yet to launch my company and have already been shortlisted for the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grant and advised by the Amazon team to apply for numerous design awards based on the beautiful designs that The X/OVER Agency has created for my brand. This is all because of the X/OVER Team.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their workflow was fantastic and I couldn't fault it, but as I am still a one-man-band, I'd say they spent a lot of time waiting for information from me. As this is the first time I'm starting a company, I was quite new to this and often didn't know what was needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
All in all, it was a very positive and productive experience. I have nothing to compare this to, since this is my first time creating a brand and working with an agency, but regardless, I loved working with them. They have taken everything I had in my head and turned it into a beautiful brand.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Sometimes I would have liked faster responses and even more communication (and clearer communication) from the Head of Strategy, but all-in-all I have been very happy with my time with The X/OVER Agency. I have had a wonderful experience working with them. They've made my brand come to life.

I am the CEO and Founder of App Boxer which is an app development agency.
For what projects/services did your company hire The Xover Agency?
We worked with the team at Xover to define a clear strategy to boost market presence and increase lead acquisition through a number of different channels. This informed a complete Rebrand and website build.
What were your goals for this project?
To double our lead acquisition and get a better quality of leads. This has resulted the company to grow over 100% every year for the last 3 years.
How did you select The Xover Agency?
We have worked with a number of agencies in the past, our main issue being that we couldn't find an agency that informed the overall marketing strategy. Most other agencies pick a specialty and define the strategy around their core service which may not be the best strategy for your business. Xover was able to define the strategy from the top down and execute where we know we could get results as soon as possible.

A lot of the work was data driven from a build, measure learn approach. We initiated the rebrand, launched the new website and assessed the data. Based on the data we iterated on the website and messaging another 3-4 times which also informed our google and social ads campaigns.

The amount of highly skilled and talented people in the team who work with a ton of ownership throughout the engagement. High energy and excitement throughout the engagement to keep achieving the results and goals we have set for ourselves.

Not in my opinion. The Results are amazing and we can't ask for any better.
