Nothing measurable as of yet still to early.

The project manager stuck to the agreed upon timeline and provided frequent updates. Any changes asked for were implemented. Easy to communicate with and pleasant to work with

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mobile app development skills blew me away. The design phase to the backend and the particulars of having it come to life. Explanations of technology etc to a beginner like me, was much appreciated. They were always available to answer any questions I had or clarify the process or specifics.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The one concern I had were just involving the particulars of PIPEDA/PIPA/PHIPA security details. At first some important particulars were missed, but the team corrected right away.

I am a shareholder at an IT-based healthcare company with a website that offers government-approved COVID-19 testing. Overall, we're offering tech solutions for customers who want more accessible and direct medical healthcare within the UK.

We needed assistance with mobile and web development.

Xeven Solutions is developing our web and mobile applications — we started with one project but have since expanded into a second app development project. We provided them with our vision and requirements for the development project before they dove into software development. As part of the project, Xeven Solutions has delivered a video conferencing solution that connects doctors to patients within 15 minutes. 

Xeven Solutions' team also rescued an app that we'd developed with another vendor. They evaluated the problems we were having with the existing app, fixed them, and then updated the app's technology.

We hired Xeven Solutions because of their portfolio — they specialized in medical and healthcare markets and had already developed diagnostic testing software. However, I'm not quite sure how we first found them.

We've invested around £50,000–£60,000 (approximately $66,000– $79,000 USD) with Xeven Solutions on our new project, but I'm not sure how much the first project cost.

Our engagement with Xeven Solutions began in November 2021, and it's ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our current project hasn't launched yet, but Xeven Solutions' developers have drastically improved our existing app. No matter what challenge we present, Xeven Solutions can deliver a comprehensive, user-friendly solution. 

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Xeven Solutions manages projects so well we've actually utilized their project management services on another project. They are experts in their field and have excellent documentation processes. We mostly communicate through phone calls and video conferences, but do have occasional in-person meetings. Their team is always available for a call.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Xeven Solutions' excellent communication is their best quality; their team is professional and has robust documentation. Overall, Xeven Solutions is very capable of delivering high-quality solutions.

I have nothing for Xeven Solutions to improve.

I'd advise customers to have an open conversation with Xeven Solutions about their needs because their team can contribute a lot of excellent ideas and experience to help improve a project.

We had a limited capacity for our internal staff, so we were looking for a reliable vendor overseas to help us with custom software development.

Xeven Solutions is helping us develop a custom software solution to improve the day-to-day operations of a nursing home. It is essentially a backend platform and its core user groups are the internal staff and care sponsors.

As for the project process, our company came up with the design compatibility and we then collaborated with their team to implement the requirements once it was finalized.

The quality of the product they delivered has been superb, but there’s still room for improvement.

They perform well from a project management and communication standpoint, and they consistently deliver their tasks within the given timeframe and budget.

Additionally, we use JIRA to track the progress and milestones of the development.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My development standards are quite high, but I’m still impressed by the quality of their deliverables.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While satisfactory, they could probably improve on their project management skills, as there are some details in the process that they’ve missed.

They assured me of the quality of the product but it was still full of issues when we received it.

I advise you to clearly communicate your needs and expectations for the project, so as to avoid confusion during the development process. Keep yourself in the loop and be wary of the minor details in the code.

Our custom software development was initially contracted through a company that didn’t do a good job. We needed to find another partner to help us.

Xeven took over the development of a performance evaluation app that will track everything our employees do from day one to the day they leave or get promoted. We had to get rid of the old code, so the Xeven team started from scratch. 

They’ve completed the first phase and are now in the second development phase. We have a contract for them to provide IT support and maintain the software after the app is complete.

Xeven has done a great job. Their great team asks the right questions; they really want to understand our full requirements for the application. When we started working together, they focused on understanding what we were trying to build, what the problem was, and how to solve it.

Additionally, they asked me if I was open to their team doing their own R&D work and providing me with some feedback. Xeven exceeded my expectations — I’m 100% satisfied with them.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We engage almost daily through WhatsApp, Skype, and Microsoft Teams. I can reach them quickly, and they’re very responsive, even on evenings and weekends. We have two demo sessions per week.

Their English is excellent, so we’ve had no problem understanding each other. Xeven always makes sure the people they bring into the team understand our project.

When the COVID-19 pandemic started, it didn’t stop them from working. Additionally, they haven’t charged extra regardless of the increase in the scope of work. Overall, they’ve been excellent at project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m really impressed by how Xeven tries to understand the project. They take their time to research before engaging, and they try to work with you within our budget. 

I also love that money isn’t their main focus — Xeven loves meaningful projects, which means something to me. The team doesn’t take on any project but wanted to take on ours. They really consider us an important client, which makes us feel special.

They could improve in recognizing if they have the right resources or enough resources for the project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very upfront and open-minded. Also, don’t put Xeven in a box; I allowed them enough flexibility to work with me.

I worked with International telehealth organization, providing virtual care across the globe.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xeven Solutions, and what were your goals?

We were looking to put together a direct to consumer telehealth product and we hired/needed Xeven to help us put this together. We had many customization requests and needed a product to work globally.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We decided on Xeven due to their flexibility on customizations and configurations to the product. They had a strong development team and really establish themselves as partners.

The work entailed putting a SaaS application to promote the use of telehealth and manage a subscription model for user for themselves and their family members. It required multiple points of integration as well and to utilize medical record details.

We have a PM lead with a group of developers to our disposal who were very accommodating. As well as at times for greater conversation. The CEO was also very accessible.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Yes, we launched services in Nigeria without any technical hurdles and allowed consumers to easily sign up and conduct their visits. There are many subscribers now to the platform.

The management style was on spot. They followed a project plan with key deliverables. It detailed the requirements and when they would be implemented and there was also related business requirements document to speak to the key requirements/deliverables.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their flexibility and willingness to align with the customer were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they are have great team and are very much business/technical oriented and knew what questions to ask in order to put together a complete solution.

I’m the director of an e-marketplace platform that provides booking services and products in the UAE.

We needed someone to build our e-commerce platform.

Xeven Solutions is providing us with web, e-commerce, and app development services. It’s compatible with iOS and Android and it helps users with payment, collections, and scheduling appointments.

Each stage of the development has a different number of people working on it and so far, we’ve been in contact with the owner, business development managers, Android developers, and the marketing team.

They were one of the several vendors who put their bid on the proposal for this project, and I chose them because of their competency and confidence.

I also looked into their background and past work and found that they specialize in developing appointment and healthcare systems.

Our ongoing partnership started in July 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There are a vast number of people within my field who analyze Xeven Solutions' work, and they often provide minor feedback to revise aspects of the project.

The team is fast in making changes as we organize everything a day before the changes need to be made. Whenever revisions need to be made they are done pretty fast. They generally do a great job of correcting the work as needed so I have no complaints.

Their approach to project management is quite good and we typically communicate through Zoom, phone, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their bold and proactive approach to the project and we find their dedicated team trustworthy and reliable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their communication and feedback are done smoothly. They are good with feedback. Sometimes a little more communication can be a plus point from high-level management — that's all.

I would suggest negotiating your requirements and being clear with what you want in terms of the scope.

We wanted to rebuild an existing communication platform from scratch using the latest technologies and making it less dependent on third party services.

The Xeven team had top notch ratings and met our talent requirements and cost expectations .

We met and discussed the project’s requirements and they seemed to have a good grasp of what needed to be accomplished. Then we moved on to the UI design phase where they made some great suggestions along the way. The project consisted of an Android, iOS and web version of the product which they executed flawlessly.

We managed the project ourselves and oversaw the work being done by the iOS , Android , web and Qa teams.

Upon launch, the app worked as expected. The team provides excellent support for the product beyond the launch date, which was very important.

We got frequent updates through Skype and worked closely with the team on a daily basis.

They definitely stood by their work and did their best to make sure the client would be satisfied with the delivery.

Because of there reputation, they may sometimes take on more work which makes it hard to make all resources available when needed urgently.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xeven Solutions has developed a site and mobile apps for us from scratch; we had a previous team working with us that created mockups of the site’s screens, and we provided that to Xeven Solution’s team so they could have something to start with. In addition to that, they’ve done UI mockups that went through several rounds of reviews and changes until we got something that we liked and approved. In terms of mobile apps, they’re available for both Android and iOS platforms.

They’re currently expanding our platforms, adding features, and providing maintenance in case of an issue.

They’ve been great in overcoming the language and time zone barriers, which has enabled them to drive us towards the expected results.

I can get in touch with them often; they’re a responsive team that I can reach out to at any given time.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They’re great at providing feedback and suggestions to our ideas. They are also knowledgeable in other platforms that might be helpful for us, like Stripe for online payments and other customer services chat platforms.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their communication so both parties can ensure that our points are well understood. This is also useful for their internal teams, especially to avoid inconsistency between our platforms regarding the changes we request — sometimes they change something on a platform and forget to do it on the other one because different teams are handling the various sites.

Any advice for potential customers?

Record every discussion session and provide that recording to their team; this will be helpful for future references so they can understand exactly what you’re looking for.

I’m the CEO of a medicine and technology company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xeven Solutions?

We were looking to develop programs to enable telemedicine and communication between patients and physicians, during the COVID situation and beyond.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided a detailed PowerPoint with instructions for specifications and requirements along with some wireframes. Xeven Solutions did R&D regarding the integration for medical equipment to be used on the patient side, as well as the hospital side.

Additionally, they helped us develop custom software and plugged in the desired features. They did this by integrating the code for the medical equipment with the software, and found a way around the incompatibilities between the software and SDKs (software development kits).

The project manager was our main point of contact. The team also consisted of senior and junior designers, senior and junior developers, and senior and junior Android and iOS developers.

Due to their expertise from working on similar projects in their past, they were able to give valuable input and suggestions to the project — they were also very cordial.

We worked together from March–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We have been able to reach more patients with hospital-based monitoring. We saw an increase in patient satisfaction, as well as improved communications between them, their physicians, and their families. COVID-19 patients were also monitored without undue exposure to medical staff, improving our patient and work care.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We set bi-weekly demo schedules to review updates and provide feedback. We communicated via Skype easily for our other needs and there were no unnecessary delays.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Efficient communication was the key to our smooth engagement. They were willing to listen to any issues we brought up, and communicate openly about what they encountered in the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It wasn’t really their fault, but it was difficult for them to give proper time and cost estimates, due to the unknowns concerning the integration of third-party software and equipment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them your ideas, and listen to their recommendations. Set up a good plan and structure for project management, and make sure you’re comfortable with the modes of communication. They can help fill in gaps on aspects you aren’t sure about, such as visualization of the project.

My organization is an enterprise software platform geared towards social connectivity and preventing isolation in the Dementia and Alzheimer’s population.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xeven Solutions?

Their team has provided the application development work for our main platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our product is a true software platform, so we have iOS and Android apps to support the needs of our community and family customers, but at its core, we are building a browser-based platform.

We came to them with concepts and wireframes in place, but we’ve I’ve had conversations with their team over the past year in which they have informed the larger strategy of the project.

They worked in ASP.net to develop the program’s functionality on top of AWS as the architecture. We also use some services from Azure and a client-side template called Admin LTE, which is an open-source front end framework.

What is the team composition?

There are a handful of people on their team that I communicate with directly for various pieces of the puzzle, whether that’s QA, weekly standups, or anything else. When it comes to strategy and leadership, Irfan (CEO) has definitely taken the lead for the most part.

How did you come to work with Xeven Solutions?

They responded to a bid we posted on Upwork, and we had enough conversations that built my confidence in their team’s skill set and approach to the point where I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of the project scope we’ve laid out so far is $36,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed our contract in July 2019 and are continuing to work together. My goal is for Xeven Solutions to continue to serve as our development team on an ongoing basis once we’ve implemented the product into the community.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

What they’ve built and the way they’ve built it is very current in terms of best practices for applications like these. They’ve enabled a sort of micro-services structure in which we can pull out and update or repair single pieces of the application as need be without taking the rest of it offline.

They’ve also been instrumental in making changes to the platform that significantly streamline the end service that we can provide. Even in the way we assign tablets to residents, their knowledge of the code helped them to be able to think through and simplify significantly.

We are continuing to fix bugs and nail down the fine-tuning of the application, and they have done a great job of staying flexible with those changes. They continue to iterate and address issues that arise as we come across them, and so far they’ve always hit the nail on the head.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They use different programs than we do but have been willing to adapt to our platforms, and vice versa. As a whole team, we use Slack, JIRA, and WhatsApp to communicate. All of the tools we use to keep track of progress and everything have been very helpful in consolidating all of our plans and the information we need to eliminate redundancies and solve problems in the most efficient way possible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their philosophy as developers is completely team-minded. It often seems like they take as much pride in the final result as you do, and that attitude shows in their work. They have worked with us through ups and downs, and we view them very much as partners rather than contractors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Any bumps we’ve run into throughout the collaboration have been fairly minor, and their team has always been totally willing to listen to feedback from us when it comes to those things. Honestly, the only thing I think they should work on is how they market themselves because I think they have a lot of untapped potential as a team that doesn’t come through in their brand copy.

Just get a good understanding of what their strengths and weaknesses are and be open about yours so that your teams are able to meet each other where you’re at. They’re pretty good at answering questions and having a solid grasp of what needs to happen at any given point, so take advantage of their expertise in that respect.
