We hired Xaicode to re-platform our existing website to WordPress with a 3rd party checkout plugin optimized for both desktop and mobile. The scope included the following: promotion popup, prominent contact info designed in accordance with privacy laws, update page titles, improve/monitor Google page speed, open graph, schema markup, image alt attributes, social media buttons, newsletter GDPR and other privacy law compliance, accessibility, training on how to use the WordPress CMS.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We communicated that we wanted to launch our website by the end of June. Xaicode delivered the new website launch on June 29! There were 3 bookings after the site launched with no issues detected. After reviewing the website post-launch, there were minor changes we requested that were fixed immediately.

Xaicode delivered the scoped items on time. They also proactively tackled other tasks to improve the site after auditing the live version. We have a running log of all tasks they have completed as well as tasks we would like to complete. They are very organized and highly communicative which is so important to any business to stay apprised of progress and status.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Xaicode anticipated problems before they happened. Their thorough auditing of the website allows them to identify the problem, provide a solution (custom or not), and deliver a result that exceeds expectations. They can get it done and don't waste your time with unnecessary information.They offer advice and suggestions while not being controlling.

I was the Digital Marketing Manager at the San Jose Chamber of Commerce.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xaicode, and what were your goals?

We hired Xaicode to help us redesign and create a brand new website after our name change. We wanted something entirely brand new, on a new platform — and really wanted something hip, modern and "Silicon Valley". This was a heavy lift with over 70 different pages of all the services we offer the business community, and Xaicode delivered it quickly and was very professional throughout the whole process.

Abdul! He was the reason. He is so incredibly talented and knowledgeable about all things marketing and has worked with so many clients that are so pleased with his work! He is also so much fun to work with — truly a great personality that makes the whole process an even better experience.

He had a whole journey and explained the stages we would go through together, and had multiple meetings/touchpoints to check in on the status of our project — and he welcomed in a lot of my feedback and made adjustments accordingly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our entire membership (1,700 businesses), staff and board of directors (80 people) were so incredibly impressed with the website and said we made an incredible choice choosing Xaicode for this project. They aced our demands and went above and beyond!

We communicated all of the tasks through Trello, a project management tool. And I was always welcome to book a time on calendly with Xaicode if I wanted to check in on the status of our project.

The attention to detail on each and every page, and the level of creativity!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, they were great all the way around! And whatever bugs or glitches happened to the website — they were on top of it before I could even tell. They were always a phone call away!

I am the IT director at Neato Robotics in San Jose, California.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xaicode?

We were looking for a company to help us with e-commerce website development and maintenance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our original website was built in WordPress, and Xaicode built us an additional e-commerce site in Shopify in 2020. We provided them with existing content that they utilized for the Shopify site. 

Then, we wanted to expand our market into Europe, so Xaicode spent 2021 building an e-commerce store focused on that market. That work included translating our website and its content into multiple languages. Later, we decided to consolidate our WordPress and Shopify websites — Xaicode helped us migrate to Shopify. 

Now, they provide ongoing site maintenance through their IT help desk. They essentially act as our internal development team, and we use them for small projects when we need to.

I work with 3–4 teammates, including the owner.

We began working together in July 2020 and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I measure Xaicode’s by whether or not they deliver within my timeline and budget, and they always do — their products are high quality. 

How did Xaicode perform from a project management standpoint?

Xaicode is well organized and delivers on time. Their team is very responsive and our professional relationship is excellent. We have weekly project meetings, and we have daily calls whenever we are close to a go live. Any site issues that come up are fixed quickly by their IT team. 

We have our own internal project management tools; Xaicode uses their tools, including Google Sheets, to manage the development process. They also have a specialty ticketing system. Generally, we communicate with them via email and use an online calendar to schedule meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Not only is Xaicode technically competent, but they act as our internal teammates — we can count on them to deliver exactly what we need. They provide custom solutions with great user experiences and high user engagement levels. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for them to improve.

Potential customers need to provide ​​Xaicode with precise project requirements and trust their technical experts to develop the right solution.

Artificial is a software company building a first-of-its-kind lab automation platform that makes it easy for any lab and scientist to automate their experiments. At Artificial, I am the Head of Commercial Operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xaicode, and what were your goals?

We were updating our branding including logos and product framing. As an early-stage start-up, we did not have internal resources dedicated to revamping our website. As well, many of the existing "no-code" website building platforms (i.e., SquareSpace, Webflow) did not provide the features to build out more complex interactions we wanted to match our product UX and branding.

With the goal of creating a Wordpress website from scratch, we hired Xaicode to develop a website that communicated our brand visually and through its interactions. With a new website, we are hoping to drive website visitors and brand awareness.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I received recommendations from colleagues and interviewed a short list. After interviewing each vendor, I made the decision based on the complexity and quality of their portfolio, which reflected their attention to detail, development expertise. As well, their responsiveness through the sales process, timelines, and costs were key factors. .

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and split of responsibilities as we have an in-house design team. From there, our design team delivered Figma mock-ups and wireframes for each page.

Then, we reviewed the wireframes and desired interactions with Xaicode, who built the WordPress website that consisted of a highly interactive home page, four product pages, about page, careers page, news pages, contact form, and request a demo form. In addition to building the frontend webpage, they made sure to set up the backend to connect our contact forms with our CRM and email system. They also integrated Oxygen so we could easily modify or create web pages in the future.

We primarily interacted with two people on their team - their CEO and a backend engineer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've received several compliments from partners and customers about our website design and branding. With the help of Xaicode, we're now collecting baseline conversion information for our forms.

We would sync on a weekly basis and they made themselves available via Slack to answer any questions or address any changes. The turnaround time was extremely fast. We would receive an instant response to any inquiries at nearly all hours of the day. They made sure to keep us on time with our deadlines and I did not have to worry about managing the project since they ensured we were hitting all milestones in a timely manner. As well, they would notify us of any changes to timelines if we had any new requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The whole experience with Xaicode was impressive. It is very clear that their team has the expertise in web development and project management to deliver above and beyond within timelines. It truly felt like I had an internal web development team working on our website, not an external agency. I felt like our needs and our project were their top priority. They attacked every task with high attention to detail and enthusiasm.

No task was too big or small for them - they were excited to push the envelope on what was possible and always made valuable recommendations along the way. In addition, their reliability and attention to detail enabled me to focus on other facets of my job without worrying about the quality of work and timelines. I couldn't recommend Xaicode more. In addition to getting a standout website, you have a true thought partner and advocate throughout the process.

We were looking to update our online presence, so we needed someone to provide us with web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xaicode helped us build and develop our entire website on WordPress. I provided most of the content and the images, while they mainly focused on developing and optimizing the platform.

The website was successfully launched, but they’re still providing us with ongoing maintenance to make sure it performs well from a UX and SEO perspective.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to the SEO they implemented, the traffic on our site has greatly increased and we’re showing up for a variety of keywords. People are also staying on our website for a lot longer, which helps us rank higher in Google search results.

How did Xaicode perform from a project management standpoint?

Xaicode was very professional throughout the engagement, and Abdul was always accurate with what he was doing. The partnership was also very structured, and they always delivered within the timeframe we agreed upon.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Not only were they extremely knowledgeable, but they also did a great job of maintaining communications with us throughout the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve on, because everything was spic and span.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise them to always be responsive, because Xaicode is very open to telling you if you’re doing something wrong, and if they need you to fix something. Be open to their suggestions because they know what they’re doing.
