Riebeek Valley Wine CO. - Rebranding, brand strategy and repositioning
Wunderbrand was engaged by Riebeek Cellars, a boutique cellar in the historic Swartland area in the Western Cape. With a changing local and global wine market we ran a market brand analysis for the brand to understand their consumers better and to align the brand with this changing market.
Once this process was completed we moved to the design and implementation phase where we created a new corporate identity for the business.

Access Bank - branding agency
Wunderbrand has had a long association with ACCESS BANK, providing report design and print production for their annual report, sustainability reports. We have designed the ‘branch of the future’ design as well as HQ facade designs and corporate wear and production.
We have also assisted with creating animations for ATM screens and a variety of other support such as board retreat events and production.

AIG - MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Since Wunderbrand started in Africa we feel we have an obligation to support he growth of leadership talent on the continent. And there is no better way to do this than support those that are doing a sterling job at promoting the best in African leadership. We support the AIG team with their marketing communications and hope that we are supporting the rise of future leaders who will govern and lead Africa forward to a bright future.

Regional social media management
Wunderbrand managed the social media platforms for Tommee-Tippee in South Africa. We grew their social media platforms from almost zero to over 100,000 in our time with them. We also managed their customer care and customer engagement in a very high-touch category.

In-store marketing
We were a long time below the line agency for Nando’s with particular focus on their internal restaurant branding. We have rolled out an internal APP for the internal communications department, and managed the roll-out of internal communications throughout the entire system.
We have developed regional campaigns as well as production for in-store promotions. We act as one of the below-the-line agencies for Nando's in SA, but we acted as a through-the-line agency for Botswana. We have consistently beaten other incumbent agencies with creative work.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the creative director of Dirty&Dry. We're a creative sales agency for drink brands all over the world. We sale and market brands across trade as well as to consumers. My position involves ideation of concepts, pulling in various creatives, managing the delivery process and client servicing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Wunderbrand (Pty) Ltd, and what were your goals?
We needed a position and a brand. I was going to do it myself but erred on the side of caution, due to a slight lack of complete objectivity. Wunderbrand came at our needs with a fresh set of eyes, and objectively took our thoughts and came up with our brand. Our goals were to have a cohesive brand that mixed in the founders beliefs and personalities.
How did you select this vendor?
I found a number of creative agencies and spoke to each of them regarding their creds and how they would go about delivering our brief for our agency. Wunderbrand was responsive, professional, and understanding. These were the ingredients I required up front.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
They took us through a questionnaire at first to gather our thoughts. From this step, Wunderbrand did desk research and gave a comprehensive competitor analysis, including our barriers to entry. What was interesting was out of the standard practices was the ability to pivot and give extra items like building us our brand book as well as our stationary. We were also named and had our logo designed on top of this.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with the Head of Wunderbrand Nicholas as well as his creative director. They were both on point, in delivering and presenting the work. They also responded well to feedback positive and negative.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The outcomes we were happy with as well as the business strategy given to us by Wunderbrand. The outcome was a presence online, as well as our toolkit needed to go to clients. This included but not limited to decks and case studies.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project management style was detailed. There were clear timelines in place for everything and these were adhered to a best as possible. Communication was clear, transparent and above board. We were happy with the outcomes.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What I find most impressive was the flexibility as they are not local to us, and the deliverables were on time and open to amends when we asked for it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Again, we were quite happy with our experience with Wunderbrand. The pricing was fair, and the delivery was as expected.
The client was happy with the outcome of the project. Wunderbrand had a detailed project management style with clear timelines and a transparent communication process. In the end, the client had been satisfied by their pricing and deliverables.
