"They had a great sense of design that brought a unique and standout outcome."

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Co-Founder & CEO of Trenser Technology Solutions (P) Ltd.
For what projects/services did your company hire WowMakers?
Our website was a bit outdated and non-responsive and showcased only minimal information when we were too small. For this reason, we wanted a fresh website reflecting our current business with an elegant and simple website. Also, we wanted a dual-language responsive website, in English and Japanese.
How did you select this vendor?
We evaluated 7 vendors found through web research and shortlisted 3 for giving a specific proposal four needs. In multiple rounds of reviews, we evaluated proposals from the vendors and got WowMakers with a top score. We understood that they had the right process we needed, and were convinced that they would be the best team to pull it off.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The scope was to create a content-driven website that would serve as a catalyst in increasing the value of the company and thereby attract more traffic from clients and job seekers. The project steps involved Stakeholder Workshops, Competitor Analysis, Persona, Card Sorting, Wireframe, Theming, and Visual Design. The key deliverables were Analysis Report, Persona Information Architecture, Lo-Fi Wireframes, and Hi-Fi Visual Design. To deliver these, the team used technologies such as Php with WordPress CMS and MySql.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with a team of 6 people including Project Managers from the UX and Engineering departments, Developers, Researchers, and Designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our main concern was the cluttered and exhaustive content on the previous version of our website. WowMakers created an architecture that is tailored to fit our desired content. The website is now content-rich and the overall navigation has improved with a seamless UI/UX experience. The new website is helping our visitors to instantly spot what they are looking for, thereby helping us to promote our values and culture including the high valued projects and clients. We are very impressed with the output.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
WowMakers used Agile, ClickUp, and Jira for Project Management, and we mainly communicated through Zoom Meetings and Emails.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They had a great sense of design that brought a unique and standout outcome. We found it impressive. WowMakers is also a process-driven team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
More proactively driving the project to completion by managing change requests with timely decisions could be an area of improvement.

For what projects/services did your company hire WowMakers?
We hired WowMakers to create an explainer video for our revolutionary spine triaging product Therapha
How did you selectWowMakers?
WowMakers came highly recommended, and once we went through their profile and their portfolio, choosing them was a no-brainer.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Our product is a feature-packed one and the script we gave them in the beginning was a 13-minute one. After we explained the concept to them, they told us the challenges of a longer video and the need of the hour to have a shorter video that viewers are able to watch without skipping.
The team was very patient as we went back and forth to get our vision down perfectly and finalized the script. From there we quickly moved into storyboarding, Illustrating and finally animating the beautiful final video!
What was the team composition?
There was a wide variety of professionals involved in the process - not limited to the team leader, content writers, sound engineers, animators and never felt any void in the creation.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are in the clinical trial phase and the animated explanatory video eases conveyance of information with collaborators.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was smooth as they were always available for a call and eager to get on call to sort things out instead of waiting a day or two for email correspondence. Their workflow was seamless and spoke volumes of the experience they have in this arena.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The professionalism and commitment each team member exhibited throughout the course of the project was commendable. Their creativity, openness to constructive criticism, and prompt communication facilitated the successful work.
The quality of work proves their commitment and expertise in the field. I have no reservations in recommending WowMakers in any kind of creative work in the advertisement industry.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
Our team felt Wowmakers strive for 'perfection' leading to slightly longer time than projected with the completion of the work.

I'm the Co-Founder at Yonoo. Yonoo is a cutting edge technology-based wellness assistant. Powered by artificial intelligence, Yonoo is designed to support your health and well-being. Yonoo is intended to connect it's users with best in the class Spas, Salons, Fitness Centres, Gymnasiums, Cosmetic Clinics, Sporting Organisations, Fun-Club Events, Arts Centres, Beauty Products and many more.
For what projects/services did your company hire WowMakers?
We worked with Wowmakers for the UI/ UX design of our two mobile apps i.e. Yonoo B2C and B2B.
What were your goals for this project?
As the primary goal, we wanted to give a 'persona' to Yonoo so that the customer would rather consider it as a virtual wellness assistant not just an app. The secondary goal was to establish the quickest and shortest connection between the customer and the most relevant wellness services for her/ him.
How did you select WowMakers?
Wowmakers is a well known brand name in UI/ UX designing space. I checked on a couple of their existing customers specifically on Wowmakers approach and quality of deliverables in UI, UX. Feedback was impressive.
Describe the project in detail.
I approached Wowmakers with my vision of Yonoo along with some hand sketches I personally did to convey my expectation on UI/ UX. The meeting then turned out to be our first discovery session where they patiently captured all my ideas and then blended with their own creative inputs to make it a futuristic UI/ UX.
What was the team composition?
Initially I was connected to their director, from where they picked up the idea of Yonoo and my expectations. Then assigned me a project manager and a UI/ UX designer for further discussions. The project manager as well as the UI/ UX designer were very experienced and supportive. They both did a commendable job in accomplishing Yonoo UI/ UX.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Yonoo is now buckling up for it's live hence we're yet to capture the customer side feedbacks. However I can confidently say that the UI/ UX is futuristic and are able to meet our customer expectations.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager used to be our single point of contact. He was very professional and supportive throughout especially in arranging several discovery sessions, releases and many review meetings. In all our meetings, he managed to bring the most relevant people and ensured on time delivery. In most of our meetings we had a privilege of connecting their UI/UX designer too - a very creative person who helped us a lot in discussing practicality of using several design/ components along with the attention to detail. His knowledge and experience helped us in making several UI/ UX decisions on the spot.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Wowmakers just gets it! I am so pleased working with them on our UI/UX approaches because I waste no oxygen or keystrokes in communicating visions of Yonoo or the importance of having a unique user experience. Their experienced and extremely talented team interprets my hand sketches as well as my mind and make the design even better than expected. Besides their excellent creative abilities, what sets Wowmakers apart are their design process, quick turnaround, respect of brand guidelines and consistency in delivering good quality of work. I recommend them highly and look forward to working with them in the future. If I can provide additional reference on their behalf, I welcome anyone to contact me directly.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I wish I could find something to scribble here :-) But unfortunately I'm now blown away by the quality of their work and on-time delivery! As far as my experience with Wowmakers is concerned, they're just doing perfect.

Explainer Videos for Cricket Management Platform
"They came up with really creative suggestions within a short amount of time."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and lead developer of Cricpod.com.
What challenge were you trying to address with WowMakers?
We needed them to help us create an explainer video for marketing purposes, so we could reach out to clients with something that could explain our product in a short timeframe.
Our major issue with our initial rollout to clients was that our initial client base wasn’t very clear with the product we offered. They knew very little about our product, namely the parts of our system they’d interacted with, so they wouldn’t be too aware of what other facilities we could provide. Our account managers and support desk were getting a huge number of calls from our users, who’d ask them what else they provided. It was a nightmare for them to address each and every query and to tell clients about the different features we had. We were looking to make things simpler for them, as well as for end users, and we came across the concept of creating an explainer video for a product and its features.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created an explainer video that highlighted a set of features we wanted to roll out in the first quarter of 2019.
What is the team composition?
I was mainly in contact with Nikesh (Account Director, WowMakers). He was the intermediary between us and their team, the people who actually transferred our idea into a video we could use.
How did you come to work with WowMakers?
We were looking to simplify our market rollout strategy, trying to find ways in which we could promote our product and highlight its features. We were looking at what different strategies different businesses employ, and we came across a couple of sites for relevant agencies.
Our team engaged with their website and the work it showcased. We found ourselves talking about WowMakers a lot while reviewing our options, so that’s what we ended up going for, instinctively. We thought it would be better to engage with them directly and get our concept transferred to a short video we could take to market to see how they’ll respond to us.
We went through their work and found it quite creative, in accordance with what we personally would have wanted to do. We were impressed with their clientele, and the explainer videos they’d done for other clients covered product features quite nicely. Looking at a few videos from their client list gave me a clear indication of what those products were. They didn’t keep the user second-guessing. We thought that we should adopt something like that for ourselves.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was close to £2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2018 and the engagement concluded in January 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The final output was not what I personally envisioned, but that might have been due to our own budgetary restrictions. Having said that, the final product had a great impact on the team at Cricpod. Our team unanimously believes that it emphasizes our product and features in a very direct manner and that it will solve our issues of marketing the product to the end user quite well. We’re very much looking forward to going live in a month’s time.
How did WowMakers perform from a project management standpoint?
Most of my correspondence was with Nikesh only. The team at Cricpod wasn’t in much direct contact with the creative team, apart from a couple of discussions, here and there. Nikesh was instrumental. I’m very pleased with his engagement with our team to bring out the ideas out of our heads and translating those into something his creative team could use to build the product we were after. This was one of the better outsourcing experiences we’ve had recently.
He understands the team’s processes very well, and he understands how different businesses work. He bridges the gap for us very well, and, should we get in touch with WowMakers for another set of services, we would want Nikesh onboard.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re an extremely creative team. When we were going through different ideas for how we could make up a story and have our product features in it, they came up with really creative suggestions within a short amount of time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t know what sort of infrastructure WowMakers has, and whether they could afford to do daily video calls with the client or not. If they had something like that, where the creative team proactively reaches out to clients, that would probably have a better impact. With other offshore providers, we insist on having direct access to the individual actually working on the project, and that gives us a great chance of rectifying any miscommunication.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
We kept engaged with them most of the time. I would advise other businesses like ours, trying to get something done, to be proactive. It’s a two-way thing, and communication needs to be spot on. We had a couple of instances of waiting for some time before we could get some of our queries answered, and, when there were multiple discussion threads, certain issues may get lost, and we may never hear about them again. My advice would be to be in constant communication with their team and to be open about things.
From cluttered and exhaustive content on the previous website, WowMakers rebuilt the platform into a content-rich and easy-to-navigate site. Visitors could now instantly spot what they were looking for. A process-driven team, WowMakers brought promising results.
