I’m always looking for good people to outsource to for both visual and technical work. I needed JavaScript and PHP expertise for a particular project.

I’ve worked on two projects with World Web Technology, including one with two significant tasks.

One project they’ve worked with us on was developing a learning platform. We had to fix a lot of conflicting plug-ins coming from our previous development team, so we needed their support in fixing it. 

Members of different groups had access to only certain learning materials, which was complicated to set up, so they’ve worked on resolving that challenge.

I worked with two developers from their team. They’re very organized, with one person taking care of the logistics, making sure that the contract is signed and the payments went through. Then, we also have a team of developers.

I use Upwork a lot, and I went through reviews there. People work on diverse projects, so good reviews aren’t a guarantee of success. Some clients will have better experiences than others, and I think I was very lucky in choosing World Web Technology.

The cost so far has been between $3,000–$4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with World Web Technology in March 2020 and I plan on hiring them for a new project. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been successful, so far. The websites they’ve worked on are live and working well. World Web Technology has developed some fine and solid solutions and solved 90% of the issues we were facing. 

How did World Web Technology Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond quickly and are the most serious company I’ve worked with so far. It’s hard to find people that are committed to actually taking the time to investigate each project well-enough to give appropriate answers.

World Web Technology is very organized, and that’s what I like most about them — they write down tasks very clearly. A lot of other companies I’ve worked with were really messy. They expected me to tell them everything I needed over one video conference, and they’d get irritated if I didn’t give them exact instructions.

Their team doesn’t start working on something if the requirements aren’t 100% correct. They have a big team, with people taking care of different tasks. I have them on Skype, and they are available all the time. They tell me when someone is about to go on holiday, and we respect each other’s time zone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They answer quickly and have more or less stuck to the deadlines, which isn’t always easy to do because we’ve run into issues we hadn’t anticipated. This happens when working on existing projects, though. Things are much shakier these days, with the COVID-19 lockdowns, so it’s harder to make plans.

Web development is a really wide field, but World Web Technology has complied with what I’ve needed, quickly and in a very solid way. They’re very professional, skilled, and ambitious. I’ve had a very good experience so far, but I also haven’t done anything too complicated with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not sure of ways they could improve, but they could provide clearer instructions and documentation. They finished a plug-in a couple of months ago, but I only now had a chance to implement it on the website. I wasn’t sure how it was set up, but I asked them and they got back to me immediately.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

World Web Technology is very up to date with how things should work, and they aim to understand the client as well as possible.

I’m the owner of youninotes.com, a multi-vendor platform with social integration where students can share their notes and make new friends at the same time.

What challenge were you trying to address with World Web Technology?

I needed help with web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped integrate the vendor platform with the social platform and designed a great layout for the student profiles. Whenever you click on a student’s avatar, you’re redirected to their profile.

Furthermore, they built a useful preview functionality from scratch for the notes that students upload to the site. It gives them the possibility to automatically see a free preview of the file they’re looking for. It’s also password protected, which means that users need to provide their password whenever they want to download a file.

What is the team composition?

I worked with their business development manager, who was always very kind and available. I also communicated directly with two developers, who took care of any issues I had and were extremely nice. We became friends.

How did you come to work with World Web Technology?

I searched online for web developers but it was hard to find a company that wasn’t overly expensive. World Web Technology was honest with us about their price, which seemed very affordable next to all the work they’d previously done. They were also very responsive and told us what web technologies would work best for our project.

We spent $5,000. To begin with, they looked at our challenge and created an invoice for the first half of the scope of work. After that was delivered, they sent another invoice for the second half. We found this to be a great way to finish the job.

The site isn’t online yet, so I have nothing to share.

They were always available, organized, and responded quickly. I didn’t have any problems with them.

They have really honest prices for the work they do. Other providers were asking a lot of money without even knowing what I wanted. World Web first asked me what the problem was and then created the scope.

There weren’t any problems while working with them. We formed a very good relationship.

Malamente is a web agency that works mostly in Italy, but the business is growing in other parts of Europe. We have a team of 10 people plus some freelancers that we hire depending on the project. I run most of the client accounts.

I had to keep a client happy, meet time constraints, and stay within budget.

They developed a multi-purpose website for a client that has different branches worldwide. It had to have different roles and a different layout per role. Additionally, they handled the site’s design.

In terms of main support, they created initial scope and analysis based on the client’s needs. Our client was very confused, so we tried to bridge the understanding. They were very good at spotting all the possible issues and addressing them right away.

Our client would change his mind at times, which was problematic. Regardless of this, World Web was very receptive and did their best in managing the client. They even worked weekends and off hours in some cases.

I had other developers check their code. They reported that World Web knows what they’re doing in terms of development and analysis. They’re really good at their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t need to communicate with them, but it’d be nice to have a better overview of the team that is assigned to us or if there are other options that can be provided.

I hired World Web Technology to help specifically with WordPress and WooCommerce customization.

What was the scope of their involvement?

World Web Technology has been able to meet every requirement or goal I've had with WooCommerce, even though some of the customizations were pretty heavy. I’d say they’re good developers, and they’re knowledgeable with WordPress and WooCommerce. They’ve done a bunch of work on my site to change the overall functionality of WooCommerce. They’re experts in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, though they mainly did backend development for me.

I was at a dead end with a customization I wanted to do, so I did a bunch of research online, and I found World Web Technology listed as partners for the technology I was using at the time; Easy Digital Downloads. It’s a WordPress plugin to turn your WordPress site into a multi-vendor marketplace, which is what I was trying to achieve. World Web Technology was listed as a resource for trusted developers. I reached out to them and explained my idea, which was vague at the time. They were able to get it up and running for me within 2.5 weeks, and we did all of our communication through email. They were able to achieve exactly what I wanted.

I started working with World Web Technology in December 2015, and the project is still under development, but our work together has changed since the first project they did for me.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I’ve done extensive testing, and I’ve had friends test the beta version of the project that I have running. All the features work well. I’ve also had some friends check the code quality and everything came back good there. I haven't had any in-the-wild testing or feedback yet.

World Web Technology dedicated one developer and one project manager to check in and oversee how everything is going. They perform very well from a project management standpoint. We mainly use email and Skype to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about World Web Technology?

I would say World Web Technology’s most impressive quality is their ability to understand a vague idea and execute on it. The result is always exactly what I want, and that’s why I continue to work with World Web Technology. I'm always pleased with their work.

Are there any areas World Web Technology could improve?

It would be useful if World Web Technology had some project management tools that they and the client could have visibility into because things can get lost or mistranslated by using email and Skype. I haven't run into too many issues with them concerning project management, but I could see how if I had bigger projects for them, it could get a little frustrating to use only email and Skype.

The organization is a startup. It’s a website where you can download content about different topics that are all related to moving from one place to another for either leisure or working purposes. The website is an e-book where users will not have to spend a lot of time looking around for different information. I’m the founder.

I created the concept with World Web Technology. They helped me create the website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

World Web Technology had the understanding and knowledge of the specific software required to download the e-books. They used PHP [Hypertext Preprocessor] to help me develop the website and implemented all their knowledge in everything related to WordPress and the content management system.

How did you come to work with World Web Technology?

I first tried to contact developers using platforms like Elance, but I had a bad experience. I then found World Web Technology through advertisements on Easy Digital Downloads. I contacted them, and it was a very easy relationship from the beginning. The communication was good which was one of the main things I had problems with in the past since I am not a native English speaker. With World Web Technology, it was perfect.

From a project management standpoint, they are brilliant. I had meetings with them every single day. They would give me a lot of suggestions about our progress and for best options about different ideas.

They are really approachable. Since they are a small business, it feels like you are dealing with a family.

I'm probably being tough because they were really good at providing suggestions for other things, but I would have liked them to provide suggestions about the specific software that we were using.

I'm an independent business owner. I don't have employees of my own, but I have an international network of developers. I advise clients on digital concepts. I do the marketing part, and thanks to developers, I also oversee the technical aspects. I'm not a programmer or developer myself, but I do the overseeing. I am a digital marketer.

I needed a developer that I could work with to provide more customization for my customers.

The demands from my customers kept getting more and more specific, and it got to the point where I realized I needed customization tools. I work with WordPress and I’m very good at it, so I needed PHP developers that understand the system as well. With World Web Technology, we programmed a configurator where developers can upload their logos and define what they want. Our scope is constantly increasing because we have good communication.

What is the status of this engagement?

The first project was actually a marketplace and that was around two years ago. Since then, we’ve probably done 10 projects together and they've contributed to at least 50 other different projects. I use them on an hourly basis, depending on the needs. They help me pretty much every week on multiple different accounts and projects.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Since I met World Web Technology, I've actually been able to acquire bigger customers and better key accounts. My clients have increased in size and in revenue. Now, I can tell any customer that whatever they need, we can do it. This year, our business has exploded and gone through the roof. Our assignment volume is 10 times larger than what it was before.

How did World Web Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

World Web Technology was very good at communication, which is my key issue. The number one tool we used at the beginning was Skype. After the projects kept increasing, we resorted to the project management tool, Asana. We work with a lot with screenshots because I’ve realized that if they see an image, they will know what to do. They will also add their input and do the thinking part on the development side, coming up with ideas for what makes sense and what doesn’t.

What did you find most impressive about World Web Technology?

One thing they're really, really good at is WordPress code. They're masters at it and it’s what I count on them for. I’ve never met anyone with such structured communication. The way they set up their dialog and the way we communicate is what really makes our partnership so special. They know they can trust me and I know I can trust them. The one time we had a misunderstanding was for a deadline, and it actually ended up making our relationship even deeper. There were a few hiccups, but on the whole, they really are fantastic.

Are there any areas World Web Technology could improve?

Looking back, I think we could have resorted to the Asana tool a little earlier. We only started using that tool about a year ago. In the beginning, the only incident we had was the one about the deadline, but it’s never happened since.
