Introduce your business and what you do there.
I manage the digital media and presence of a cosmetics organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with Witz-Tech?
We were experiencing some recurring issues with our website, so we wanted someone to manage and host it properly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Wiz-Tech provided us with server hosting and website management. They fixed our issues regarding the constant crashing of the platform and the complaints about the basket size vanishing.
Furthermore, they quickly identified that our website was experiencing an influx of traffic whenever one of our large endorsers would post on social media about our brand. The team then moved us into more stable servers and developed a better interface moving forward.

We worked with the owner and a project manager.
How did you come to work with Witz-Tech?
We knew of them because they were an up-and-coming company in the UAE, and the owner very quickly understood our problems and was very enthusiastic about helping us.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested somewhere between $7,000–$12,000 USD.

We worked together from February–September 2021.

Because of their persistence and work ethic, they were able to resolve our issues. They worked for 72 hours nonstop to make sure that our website ran smoothly.
How did Witz-Tech perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good at handling our account and we typically communicated through email and phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed with their enthusiasm, vigilance, and ability to maintain the project while it was with them. Whenever a problem arose, the team worked immediately to solve it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The cost was a major factor for us, so they could probably improve on that.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm an investor and co-owner of a real estate company based in Iraq. All the properties in Iraq, Erbil, and Karbala are focused on our portal itself and we have a mobile application and a website, as well.
What challenge were you trying to address with Witz-Tech?
We had another web development company make our mobile app and our website, but we had a series of problems. Because of this, we hired Witz-Tech to do maintenance for both our mobile application and website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We give Witz-Tech multiple tasks over the course of the month and they handle everything on a task-by-task basis.
For example, our properties weren't showing properly, our wordings weren't right, and the notifications weren't going out, so they fixed those things, too.
They take care of everything, ranging from the website to the mobile app and any issues that arise. They also handle the UX/UI design for the mobile app. They also handle any changes that are requested from our team of investors.
What is the team composition?
They have a big team, but four people are dedicated to the maintenance work. There are two mobile developers, one website teammate, and a designer.
I also have direct contact with Ghazia (Owner) as our project manager. She has a big team that's based out of Lahore, Pakistan that works remotely to fix everything on the mobile application and the website.
How did you come to work with Witz-Tech?
I met them through a referral. My friend from Pakistan introduced me to Ghazia. I called her, and she told me she started her own web development company, so I decided to engage with her.
She introduced me to her team and the project manager and CTO were very nice — they knew all the technical details. The project manager knew exactly what we needed to do even before I told him about our issues. He had experience in real estate and was aware of everything. They worked together and told me how the project would go step by step.
They had also worked on a lot of websites in Dubai, which is why I was very interested to work with them in the first place. I was very impressed and decided to start with a small engagement.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe I’ve spent approximately $8,000—$10,000 with them, so far.
What is the status of the engagement?
We began working together in February 2019 and our partnership is still ongoing.
Initially, I thought we would only work together for one month but they did very well so I continued giving them mobile app tasks and I am still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When my app and website work, my investors are happy and my clients have no complaints, so I feel very good — this is the main way I measure the quality of their work.
How did Witz-Tech perform from a project management standpoint?
Their ability to stick to the schedule and the budget is impressive. When my 100 hours run out, which is $2,000, they let me know and ask for approval to move forward with another 100 hours. I either tell them to go ahead or I have them wait while I check with my team and ensure everything is up to date.
We use Trello to manage their day-to-day work with an IT person on our team. We use Google Sheets to manage the number of hours. We typically communicate via emails, WhatsApp, Skype, and Teams whenever we have meetings with the entire team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Amazingly, I can reach the team whenever I need them. I could never reach my previous team based in India, so it was a miracle that that team finished my work and they gave it to me on time.
With Ghazia and her team, I can send one message through Skype, and they will immediately respond. I'm always talking to Ghazia about payments and everything else on WhatsApp. If we need to have a call to discuss something, we have voice notes, Skype, and Zoo and there are no issues.
The best thing that I like about their team is that they guarantee that if something they fix goes wrong, they will do it again for free. They take pride in their work and make sure that they do it right the first time because nobody wants to do free work. They’re a very good company.
For example, the other day we had an issue related to the servers, and the main person who looks after my server couldn’t fix it, so I contacted Witz-Tech. They looked into it and got the server up and running again — I’m very happy with their support.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I suggest that they hire more people. Even though they have over 400 people, they could use a larger team.
Any advice for potential customers?
If you need services in this field, visit their website and call Ghazia immediately because she will make things work for you.
For example, if I call her and I tell her I didn’t understand what her technical team said, she’ll clarify the miscommunication with her team. They’ll do an immediate meeting with me to ensure everything is transparent since I’m not a technical, business-oriented person.
Through their unyielding work ethic, Witz-Tech was able to remedy all the recurring issues the website experienced. The team exhibited a professional and dedicated approach to project management, which highly impressed the internal stakeholders.
