PokerGrant operator in the iGaming industry
At the time of the project's support, PokerGrant had over 200,000 players from 34 countries.
The project monetization model is commission. Players pay a small commission when they place a bet. The received income is distributed between the system and partners that attract traffic.
PokerGrant is aimed at 2 groups of users: professional players and those for whom it is just a hobby. Therefore a large number of partners were needed for the platform to work fully: payment systems and affiliate sites that brought new players.

Social network in the Chinese market
1440 is a geosocial network startup focused on the Chinese market.
The main focus of the project is aimed at 2 audiences: users who create and consume content, and small businesses that promote their products and services through advanced geotargeting.
Development of the social network began in China in February 2020. The project has already gained more than 100,000 users in the first 3 months of operation.
The financial model of the project is to distribute part of the advertising revenue among users. We created an internal currency to do this. Users can earn internal currency by creating interesting content and getting Likes for it.
Advanced geographic targeting allows small business owners to make an accurate selection based on user geography and time of stay. For example, there may be an audience in the sample, often within a radius of 1 km from the location on Friday mornings. The gift system allows promoting services or goods in an unobtrusive way in the form of gifts or coupons.

Due to this, a constant, significant influx of paying users is achieved. The VipDeposits affiliate network is built on the MLM principle and includes several levels of partners.
The financial model is simple and beneficial for clients - RevShare - which means payment for real transactions of users. In other words, VipDeposits customers give away a share of their income without investing in marketing initially. A similar financial model is established between VipDeposits and partners.
The partner system VipDeposits implies integration with clients to obtain data on deposits and transactions, as well as a multi-level distribution of the received income between partners. At the same time, the system requires flexibility, providing the business with the ability to quickly and easily change the conditions for a particular partner, including recalculating past charges.

The project was founded in Moscow in 2017 as a browser game based on blockchain technology.

Entertainment Platform Development for Gaming Startup
“They care about the projects they do.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-CEO and co-founder of OneFun, a company that offers packaged entertainment for gaming lovers. We’re a platform where casinos and entertainment companies can publish information about themselves, such as ongoing events in their venues. Apart from that, our customers can download our app to see what’s going on inside those venues. They can also book a trip to a particular venue, and our system can automatically suggest nearby flights or hotels. The only thing our customers need to do is to pay and go.
What challenge were you trying to address with WinSoft.io?
My partner and I were developers, but we wanted another vendor to develop our platform for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When I initially explained our idea for OneFun, WinSoft was already aware that I was a deep agile aficionado. We had biweekly reports to make sure we were going in the proper direction, and we split the product into two, one being its MVP state.
For two weeks, we worked on making one side of the product up and running. Then, we worked on the admin side for another two weeks. During that time, my partner and I monitored their work and checked if they missed anything. We also told them the good things they did that we wanted to keep. They also did a bit of analysis and looked into standardized practices on certain aspects of the project.
What is the team composition?
I mainly communicate with Dmitry (CEO), and I’m in constant contact with him for demos. I’m also aware of five other people who’ve worked on the app, such as frontend developers.
How did you come to work with WinSoft.io?
We came across somebody who told us about WinSoft, and we started digging. We saw that what they were doing was interesting. I talked to a number of other providers, but I felt WinSoft truly cared about the project.
Other vendors simply asked us to list down our requirements, while the WinSoft team asked us more technical questions such as how many app users we expected, what the overall load was, and how many transactions we were expecting.
How much have you invested with them?
Our overall investment has been around $200,000, including $60,000 in direct payments.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in August 2020, and our engagement is ongoing. They did everything for the app in four months. However, we had to stop the project at some point because of payment integration issues, and we had to pass know-your-customer (KYC) policies. Still, this is going to be a long project because I have a project vision for at least a year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
WinSoft doesn’t behave like an outsourced company. Since day one, they’ve been expressing themselves as a true partner. They tell me suggestions for the platform’s development, and they’re very caring about the product. I really enjoy working with them since they have a very good team spirit.
We’ve experienced bugs and crashes, but that’s understandable because bugs are part of our lives as developers. When these things happen, I put them on JIRA and they’re solved immediately.
How did WinSoft.io perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very good at meeting deadlines. In most cases, we put 10%–15% time allowance just in case we come up with something else in the process. Our biweekly sprints have also been one of the reasons why our work has been successful. We’ve always kept track of everything.
Overall, we’ve worked as one during this project; I feel their difficulties and they feel my pain, which makes the engagement easier. In terms of communication, we make phone calls on a daily basis, and we’ve also been able to see each other since they’re in Kyiv.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They care about the projects they do. I’ve seen a few of their other projects, and the level of care has always been the same. On top of that, I’ve received what I want from them, and they’ve done everything for the project. The rest of the problems, such as legal issues, are on me. We also feel that they’re always with us all the time, which is important for me personally.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When they do simple tasks, they may lose concentration and interest in a short time, which can be an issue.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Engage WinSoft with complex tasks.
