Brand Identity for Candle Manufacturing Company
the project
"They were excellent and worked beyond our expectations."

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Brand & Insights Manager of an international e-commerce and candle manufacturing company. We sell home fragrance product supplies to small/medium size businesses and crafters. We also manufacture finished products for some of the world’s most iconic fashion brands. My role here is two-fold:
- brand development
- on-going customer research
For what projects/services did your company hire Wildish & Co., and what were your goals?
With incredible YoY growth, our brand identity and style remained outdated and inconsistent. In addition, there has been a surplus of new competitors joining the market, employing similar style as we have. Hence, standing out in the market became one of the most important things we had to address as a company. That is why, we were looking for a creative partner to help us create a new identity and style.
How did you select this vendor?
I have scoped out our project, and started researching for an agency. I had narrowed down the list to TOP 5 vendors. My criteria was not only based on the project scope, I was looking for a partner, with whom we would enjoy working and whose work portfolio somewhat correlated with the nature of the products that we sell. One of the most challenging things we had to consider and answer as a company was ‘ How can we sell the fragrance if a customer cannot smell it?’. Hence, I was looking for someone who had experience working with scents.
Wilidish & Co had the most creative portfolio that perfectly aligned with what we were looking for, nevertheless, we wanted to speak with all vendors to see which agency would be the best fit. At the end, we decided to go ahead with Wildish. We loved speaking with them from the very first call, we liked their work, their approach, work ethic, and they perfectly met our criteria.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
The process Wildish & Co took us through was absolutely fantastic. We could not stop complimenting them after every check-in call. Firstly they made a project map and we all agreed on deliverables. They split the project into several sprints- which was great! We agreed on weekly check-in calls, so we were always updated on the progress. Every single sprint started wide and slowly, together with Wildish, we narrowed down the choices and scoped out the approach we felt was the best fit for us. Initiatially, we worked on brand identity. Wildish interviewed our key staff members and done some market research.
Next sprint was to work on the style. They gave us 3 broad style platforms to choose, and we once again, kept on narrowing down, until we had a winner. Then, we worked on the tone of voice. The final stage was the refinement and development of the assets. The finish line was the handover. Wildish & Co team has produced: brand guidelines, tone of voice, fragrance product visual style/approach and delivered multiple assets for us to use. Every guideline has been supplemented with various examples, do’s and don’ts as well as templates.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Throughout our journey with Wildish, we've met quite a few members of their team, which was great. I have directly worked with Wildish & Co:
- Managing Director
- Design Director
- Creative Director
- Creative Project Manager
- Designer
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Because of Wildish, the founders’ vision has been made a reality. We now have a unique brand image and identity that reflects what my company stands for. To those who have seen our new look- absolutely love it. We’re incredibly happy with the finished products.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had weekly check in calls, sometimes more than once a week to get the project going and on track. Our project manager was INCREDIBLE. So I just wanted to say a huge shout out to Harm. The process was unbelievably clear as well as the communications. After every single meeting, we just couldn’t help but compliment Wildish on this. And to explain this differently, the founders are not particularly keen on having meetings, however, every single week they’re ecstatic to speak with Wildish. There’s no better proof than this to show their management and communication style being PHENOMENAL.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team spirit and ethic, processes, creativity. Everything about Wildish from the start to the end was impressive. So much that we decided to keep on working with them on other projects.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Just keep doing what you're doing!

Goolf
When we were approached by Goolf, their brief was simple – change the game.
They were looking to us to work with them in totally shake up a traditionally stuffy sport. Shed the old-school reputation entirely and make something that felt completely fresh, something that would fit with how emerging players are starting to experience with the game.
As an existing Apple iOS and Google Play store app, Goolf was here for like-minded players to find, meet and golf with each other. Adding a new layer to how players could enjoy a game. Their challenge was that the current brand wasn’t reflective of the true nature of the vision, the guys behind the app, or the new players coming through.

For what projects/services did your company hire Wildish & Co., and what were your goals?
We are launching the product in the spring of 2022, and we wanted to build our branding from the ground up, starting from the why all the way to the customer facing branding. We wanted to create a brand which stood out from the golf industry norm, something which would be attractive to the new generation of would be golfers and existing ones too!

Wildish instant stood out to me, they have a proven track record of cresting amazing brands, and especially in our case, making something which could be considered not massively 'cool', very cool!
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
We kicked off with a round of interviews with each member of our team, allowing non bias input, which ultimately carved the raw why and reason of goolf. A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a co-founder of Get Ahead Mindset, a mental health application.
What challenge were you trying to address with Wildish & Co.?
Our business had a basic branding that we did ourselves, and we were looking to expand our company, so we needed a professional look in branding and visual identity.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Wildish & Co. did a complete visual and verbal rebranding for us. Their brand guidelines included positioning statements, brand story, logos, colors, photography guidelines, fonts, UI/UX guiding, and merchandising.
To jumpstart the project, we provided them with our business plan, and they conducted some interviews with us to dive into our needs and requirements. We also filled out online surveys and forms.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four members of their team, including Sam (Managing Director), a project manager, and a couple of designers.
How did you come to work with Wildish & Co.?
We researched online for branding agencies that focused on early-stage startups that could also align with our values. After speaking to several options, we chose Wildish & Co. because they seemed like the best fit for us.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent £20,000–£25,000 (approximately $27,000–$34,000 USD) with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October 2021–January 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve shown their work to other branding agencies, and they provided really positive feedback. Overall, everyone thinks that it’s a massive improvement for our business and it looks professional.
How did Wildish & Co. perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good with project management; I enjoyed their transparency throughout the partnership, which was possible thanks to the project management tool they used. In terms of communication, we used Google Meets, weekly calls, and emails to keep everyone updated with the process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive thing about them is that they were able to understand our needs right away — thanks to that, they could provide fresh ideas that we didn’t think of, which is what we were looking for from a branding partner.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The verbal brand identity started a little slow, but we got there in the end, so it was nothing major. Other than that, I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — we were delighted with their deliverables.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Share with them as many ideas as you can so they can understand your business. Also, treat them as an extension of your team and not as a separate agency.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder and creative director of a content creation agency specialised in immersive media.
For what projects/services did your company hire Wildish & Co., and what were your goals?
We need to refresh our brand and rebuild our website to keep pace with the market and our evolving services. It needed to look fresh and innovative. Wildish & Co impressed us with their creativity and approach.
How did you select this vendor?
We researched around 30 agencies, and obtained quotes from about 6 of the best. We had interview-style calls with all of them.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
They established a solid understanding of our brand and what we wanted its new evolution to achieve. Then looked at the competitive landscape and beyond for inspiration, references and opportunities to differentiate. They explored several creative directions and worked closely with us to refine the vision. Through a process of weekly catch-ups, at each of which they presented their latest thinking, we were able to quickly settle on a brand identity, which they quickly built out into supporting assets, guidelines and then translated into a set of fantastic web page designs.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had close communication with the 5 keys members of the Wildish & Co team, including: 2 Project Managers, Creative Director, Technology Lead and Strategy Director.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The brand is better than we'd hoped, and delivered more quickly than we'd expected. Wildish & Co went above and beyond throughout the process and have consistently overdelivered in terms of creative input and concrete outputs.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Highly efficient. We were impressed by their process framework from the start, and the weekly 'sync' meetings (which we quickly came to genuinely look forward to, and may borrow for our own process) maintained momentum. Their style felt professional and efficient throughout, but still a relaxed team who were a pleasure to work with. Follow-ups were always swift and complete, and we never had to chase for anything - not once.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Everything. From the personality of the team to the rigour of the process. And from the breadth of creativity to the willingness to absorb feedback and get their hands dirty when it came to the details.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I've thought about it and I genuinely can't fault them. Keep up the great work!

Rebranding for Digital Product Studio
"They’ve maintained their eagerness to meet our goals throughout the engagement."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of a digital product studio.
What challenge were you trying to address with Wildish & Co.?
We needed their branding expertise.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve decided to rebrand our business by developing a new brand image to elevate our presence in the market, so we’ve engaged Wildish & Co. to do all the rebranding work for us.
Wildish & Co. has initially conducted market research by interviewing our staff and identifying trends related to our business. Based on their findings, they’ve come up with a list of positioning statements that we can choose from.
Once we’ve finalized our positioning statement, Wildish & Co. has reimagined our brand by applying new themes, color schemes, names, and social media strategies. They’ve then given us a brand positioning document, which helps us identify areas of focus for each design and branding deliverable.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with a team comprised of 10–15 members, including Sam (Strategy Director).
How did you come to work with Wildish & Co.?
We came up with a shortlist of three potential London-based partners after doing our research. Wildish & Co. impressed us with their transparency and values-driven management — it was important for us to choose a team that could match our collaborative and transparent approach, so we went with their services.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We kicked off our engagement in August 2021, and we’re nearing the completion of the project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Branding-related feedback can be quite binary — you either like someone’s work or you don’t. We’ve shown Wildish & Co.’s rebranding work to our team and clients, and they’ve been quick to share positive feedback on their deliverables.
They’ve been attentive to our design needs and change requests, and that’s helped them deliver quality results within quick turnaround times. I’ll confidently recommend their team to anyone looking for the same quality of work.
How did Wildish & Co. perform from a project management standpoint?
We have weekly check-in meetings with Wildish & Co. to identify our goals and achievements for the week. They’re very considerate when it comes to dealing with timeline delays from our team’s end. From a project management perspective, I can say that they’ve been reliable — their team meets both our budget and timelines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Wildish & Co. is a team of highly talented and professional creatives. We’ve chosen them because of their work ethic, and they’ve maintained their eagerness to meet our goals throughout the engagement.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve somehow set a defined cadence that we’ve had to keep up with, which has required us to make quick decisions and give quick feedback. It’s not a criticism, but it’s taken us time to adjust since we’re not used to following a more stringent pace.

Branding for Textile Company

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m planning to launch a marketplace where my company will be hosting various products from different creators and artists.
What challenge were you trying to address with Wildish & Co.?
We wanted to collaborate with a company that would help up stand out so we can really find our niche.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Wildish & Co. helped us with their branding services, including logo design, conceptualization, and naming development. We worked with them to get the colors, typography, and basically everything related to the design.
We first did market research together and this is where we gave them examples of our competitors. After that phase, they analyzed the information we provided and they came up with different ways to represent our brand — we also built different storylines to base the direction of our brand from. Once that was settled, we put all the design elements together to develop the project.
What is the team composition?
There were at least three main points of contact throughout the partnership. There were also different team members coming in and out depending on the needs, which was nice because they had different members handle different areas of the development.
How did you come to work with Wildish & Co.?
We were originally looking for different branding companies and when I spoke with Wildish & Co., they had this vibe that made me think that they really knew what they were doing. They showed creativity, enthusiasm, and determination to help us succeed.
Moreover, they were reasonably priced and had a very successful and convincing selling point — once I hired them, I never had regrets.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around £17,000 ($22,800 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May–August 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
What they delivered is what we envisioned how our brand would be represented. Our clients are excited for our platform to launch, as they think it’s fun, exciting, and fresh.
How did Wildish & Co. perform from a project management standpoint?
They were really communicative and helpful, especially when it came to listening to feedback. They were also very timely with their delivery even when we had delays — they’re very focused on their work and whenever we experienced issues, they always corrected them on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
they were a very well-managed team and I liked how smooth the entire partnership was.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As of right now, I don’t think they need to improve on anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When you know what you want, I suggest being honest upfront so you can get true feedback from the team.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a project director at WithBIM, an interior architectural firm that has set up an industry software add-on.
What challenge were you trying to address with Wildish & Co. Creative Branding Agency?
As we launched a new product, we were looking to create a platform that would be at the heart of our sales mechanism. The website was to hold everything and be the key link back for social media.
What was the scope of their involvement?
At the start, their team took the time to understand what we were trying to do and wanted to achieve in terms of the business objectives. From there, they storyboarded it and mapped it out in terms of the look, style, and where the key pages would sit with each other.
From there, we then built it into a website. On the front page, we wanted videos that showed our purpose. We have a demo page that’s linked to demos and emails. We also have special content that’s structured for people to view a quick thumbnail. There’s also a showcasing of the three main points, which then leads to pricing.
Once users go through the products, they can see all the various features, imagery, and case studies. There’s also the whole payment portal through WooCommerce. There’s a couple of fun software pieces in the background that they’ve applied for to help us with the members’ area. That was a big functional feature.
They spent time figuring out what the add-ons could do and that enhanced our website capabilities.
What is the team composition?
We know of 6-7 people, but they’re never all at one time. It’s generally around two people at a time. There was a project manager who had good knowledge across the board. She could answer all of our questions without having to escalate.
There was someone who was very much involved in the design and creative look and feel. There was also someone who was out front who made sure they understood what we were doing and got the project off the ground. There was someone on the web development and technical programming side.
How did you come to work with Wildish & Co. Creative Branding Agency?
We received a cold call from a social media firm that said they were good. We also spoke to them, managing to get a price that we felt was reasonable. We liked them and their price in comparison to others.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested £4,000 (approximately $5,400 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–May 2021. If we have needs for changes or tweaks, we will be speaking to them about it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve been excellent. They’re a nice team across the board. There are little things they’re doing for us. They just helped us with a blog page the other day.
We’ve got some hit rates that are increasing, but it’s too soon to tell if it’s down to their work at this point.
How did Wildish & Co. Creative Branding Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style was very good. Our project manager responded within a couple of days. She was clear when she had to escalate stuff.
We had continual dialogue with them. At every stage, we had regular points of contact. We communicated through Google Meet and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a young, dynamic, and knowledgeable team that was responsive and driven to do a good job. As we went through the process, they were skilled in various aspects of development, from strategy through design and programming.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any criticism. There were minor things that we got through.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend the time on the exploration and use all their skills from start to finish, whether that’s strategy, design, or development. Spend that time letting them get to know you and figure out what you really want the outcome to be. They can help you put some thought together.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of the Good People Agency. We represent fashion brands and take their collections to international markets.
What challenge were you trying to address with Wildish & Co.?
We were struggling to create a brand identity and voice. We needed an objective partner to help us portray our brand in the industry.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I had a general idea of what I wanted the brand to look like, but they helped me write my ideas down. Then they did some market research and put three different proposals together. I was able to pick and choose elements from each proposal for our brand. Finally, they created a new logo, a font, a typeface, and a color scheme that reflected our voice.
Once we solidified our brand identity, they developed the platform. I looked at companies that I admire and highlighted what I liked about their websites.
Now they’re building a digital showroom for us. Normally, buyers travel to us to view our collections, but because of COVID-19 travel restrictions, we’ve had to adapt pretty quickly. This platform will enable us to continue to show our collections virtually.
What is the team composition?
I worked with 6–8 people, including a business strategist, a web developer, and a project manager.
How did you come to work with Wildish & Co.?
We were actually talking to another company, but they were moving very slowly. We sent Wildish & Co. an email and they responded within 20 minutes to ask us for project details. Their responsiveness was a major driving factor. It seemed like they were interested in working with us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about £8,000 (approximately $11,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in October 2020 and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of their work is even better than I expected. The brand they presented is very community-oriented, and we’re very happy with it.
It has already had a big impact on our business. For the last year, we’ve been trying to secure business with a footwear brand, but once we reached out to them with our new brand materials, they wanted to sign with us. They responded to us in less than two hours.
How did Wildish & Co. perform from a project management standpoint?
They were open and honest with me from the start. They explained the ins and outs of the platform and taught me how to change everything myself. They truly went above and beyond to help me feel at ease.
I was also very impressed by how attentive and organized they were. They listened to everything I said and never missed a detail.
They were also very accommodating. When we agreed to work with them, I had to go to Canada for 12 weeks, but they were flexible and were still able to work with me despite the time difference. As a result, they still delivered on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They brand themselves very well. They’re very approachable, their website is easy to navigate, they’ve clearly established a community.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of a single thing to criticize them for.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very direct with them. I can’t recommend them enough.
A candle manufacturing company hired Wildish & Co. to improve their brand identity and style. They interviewed key staff members, conducted market research, and worked on the project's guidelines.
