Initially an analysis of the competitive environment including evaluating various solutions on websites of colleagues and competitors was performed. Then planning of the corporate website based on conclusions made in the report as well as features of the restaurant chain was carried out
The technology stack and hosting were selected based on the expected volume of information and workload.
Then the prototype and design of main pages, and then the frontend of the project and backend were developed. Website assembly, data input, and testing were carried out.
Automatic creating of branch websites
At the customer's request, the backend of the website allows you to create websites of chain's restaurants according to a single template. An ordinary office worker can do this. At the same time, a customization system that allows limited modifications of affiliate websites has been developed.
An independent functionality of the delivery section with its own separate menu has been provided. Call center operators could receive orders from the website. Subsequently, this section was integrated into the common delivery ordering system. In addition, transfer of the delivery menu to the Delivery Club service website was implemented.
Recruitment through using of corporate website
It is a section with vacancies for recruitment of personnel. The data of the completed vacancy questionnaire sent to the appropriate network employee.
Interactive map of branches
An interactive map with all the restaurants of the chain is a new view of the restaurants. A separate slideshow showing enlarged versions of interior photos is provided for each restaurant.
The new network website was successfully launched in 2011 and accepted by the customer.
