I am a founder of Web Design and Development Agency based out of US. We do custom Design and Development work.

My Web Agency does not have enough Designers and Developers to handle the amount of projects we were getting. We were getting challenging and long-term Web Design and Development Projects, so we decided to hire Atanu (Developer / Project Manager)and the WebSkitters to help ouy.

We interviewed several teams, and even worked with other teams in the past. WebSkitters's team's quality of work and communications was the best out of everyone.

We started our engagement on a Shopify Development project because my Web Agency needed help with it. Atanu has served as the main project manager and has been great in communcations. Atanu's team was helpful in getting the design and working with our team in helping to manage the project. Atanu's team was very fast at the work and we were able to make several changes on as needed from the client and implement it flawlessly.

Atanu (Developer / Project Manager)was the main POC, but we have worked with numerous designers and developers based on a project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After partnering with WebSkitters, I was able to help scale our Agency significantly because of the speed of work and the communications from their team. We've been able to deliver great work and get happy clients because of them.

Atanu (Developer / Project Manager) has been very good with communications. He's very easy to work with. He allowed access to Basecamp (Project management tool) and we have added him to our Slack channel. It makes it very easy to communicate with him.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very fast at the deliverables and they always make sure to overdeliver. Even if some of the requirements aren't explicitly agreed upon at the beginning, they do the work if it makes logical sense.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall, we've had a really good experience. I would like to have a POC / Developer work during EST for more support, but I understand that it is not part of their process.

We are a flower wholesaler that delivers flowers across the United States, and I am the CEO

For what projects/services did your company hire Webskitters, and what were your goals?

We were on a platform that was not user-friendly for neither our customers nor our employees to use. We contacted Webskitters to see what they could do for us. They help us choose a new platform to use going forward.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I choose Webskitters because I saw they had very very good reviews for large dollar projects. Then when I ask for a price I was given it quickly, along with a contract I could understand (I am a non-technical person) and an all-inclusive price. The quote showed the work that was to be done which was to the point and easy for me to understand. I also had time frames for what work will be done which again was also easy to understand.

Webskitter walked me through a process of how our homepage, category pages, products pages, and the rest of the pages would look graphically. We were able to make changes so I was able to understand the look and feel of the site. Then they migrated over our date to the new platform. I can not tell you how this was done, but it was done correctly.

I have had migrations before where data was lost and I was told I have to live with it or I had to create it again. Next, when we saw a test version of the live site. Of course, I saw all the little issues that I did not like. These were corrected and fixed. I kept doing this until I was satisfied with the product. Then we went live for good. Then of course I asked for more changes with issues I did not see until we start using the site. These were all done quickly,

The end result of the site we built went so well that I am in the process of having them build out our second website. I am hoping customer experience works as well as the first site we did. Late this year we are talking about having them work on a third site that we use.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In the process when I asked a question or requested something it got done immediately. I didn't wait days or weeks. It got done. Also when I flip-floped parts of the project in what I wanted to get done I did not get any anger from them. Most importantly, they talked to me using words that my level of technical skill understands. I am not a technical person but when I asked for clarification they always made sure I understood what the issue was and its importance of it.

We were referred by a friend, and after doing a bunch of interviews, ended up on a one-hour zoom call with Webskitters and never looked back.

We are not programmers here for sure so not sure about the technologies used, however, they did build a completely custom back end that is unreal... as well as the most responsive, innovative engaging front end a Hollywood cinema film equipment company could ask for. The project I recently completed with them was animation for a client's website.  It was such a good experience I am now working on sending two larger projects for them.

It was a very detailed tasks and the client was very specific in the requirements. Webskitters and their team were very professional and made three different versions working hard to please the client.

The client approved the animation. The website has a couple more tasks to be completed before we can launch the site. It should launch in the next week or so (June 2021) the site is AmexAmmo.com

All of our communications were via email, UpWork, Skype and Zoom. I found them to be Very responsive and kept the project moving and completed in a timely manner.

The communication and follow up was excellent. They were thorough and met all expectations.

No. I don't think I would ask them to change anything.

We discovered the vendor on Upwork, and we have set up the process there. The deciding factors were the honesty and integrity of the vendor.

Of course, Saikat was the only member of the team that worked directly with us. However, we were aware that the other members of the team were aiding him on different parts of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Throughout the duration of the project, Saikat Roychoudhury and his team have been exceedingly quick and responsive to all of our needs. They continuously and greatly surpass specified expectations by delivering work of great quality. Saikat is one of the most talented individuals with whom we've worked at Upwork.

I’m the web manager of an entertainment company. We’re one of the leading providers of wedding entertainment services, like musicians and bands, in the country.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webskitters?

We needed help with frontend development, so we hired Webskitters.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided them with mockups of the website pages that we wanted. Webskitters then turned these from a Photoshop PSD file to a frontend HTML file. When it was ready, we took it to our backend people. 

They only did the frontend development of 9-10 different pages, but they used a lot of their own initiative and skillsets to develop our ideas. I provided them with a desktop version and they provided mobile and tablet-friendly versions for both iOS and Android. The team put together a lot of JavaScript and jQuery. It needed a bit of refinement at times, but they did perfectly before it was all signed off. It was a totally bespoke project.

My point of contact was a business development manager.

We had posted a job on Upwork and Webskitters was one of many applicants. We shortlisted them and found that they ticked all of our boxes. They were open to creating a bespoke website rather than just using WordPress or something similar. The communication, feedback, and existing work were all positive. It was almost a no-brainer to go with them.

We spent $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2017–April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were very good at frontend development.

How did Webskitters perform from a project management standpoint?

The project was managed very well. The communication was great and their adherence to deadlines was superb. They always got back to us very quickly. 

We used email and Google Drive throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their work is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been a few occasions where we asked for amendments to be made. They told us it was done, but when we tested it, the amendments hadn’t actually been made.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make your communication with them polite because they’re also very polite. Outline what you need as clearly as possible and everything else will be straightforward. Webskitters will take care of the project management process.

I’m the owner and sole employee of Cloudwriter, a startup. The product I offer is an e-learning website and software for academic paragraph and essay writing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webskitters?

I needed a developer to program my product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webskitters developed my WordPress website. I provided them with my vision as well as software wireframes I’d created, and they took care of everything. They used HTML and CSS.

The e-learning software helps students structure their academic writing and create a clear thesis with sufficient details and examples. It has text input boxes and dropdown menus where the user can insert information. After the user presses ‘completed,’ the software returns a completed paragraph or essay that is very well-suited for academic purposes. 

What is the team composition?

Atanu (CEO) is my main point of contact. He is very professional and friendly, and his knowledge of English is sufficient.

How did you come to work with Webskitters?

I found Webskitters on Upwork. The primary reason I chose them was their good price. I saw their portfolio and some of the work they’d done, even in education, and it looked really good. 

How much have you invested with them?

I have spent about $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working on the project in January 2021, and it’s ongoing. I'm still open to working with them on any needs that come up.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The work is pretty much done, and it looks great. As a teacher, if I had to grade their work, I'd probably give them around an 80%.

How did Webskitters perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is pretty good. The only qualm I have is that they originally estimated that the project would take one month, but it ended up taking five months. I think the primary issue was the delay in communication since they’re in India, and I’m in Canada.

The time zone difference isn’t ideal because one day turns into two. However, I knew going into the engagement that this would be a long project. For communication, we use Skype or Upwork’s platform.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The site implementation was pretty accurate to what I wanted, so I’m happy with it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I understand that because I’m on a tight budget, I can’t have a custom-made project. I don’t like that the user account is on WordPress, but the functionality is fine.

They could’ve encouraged me earlier on in the project to be very comprehensive in my rounds of critiques. I started creating Microsoft Word files with screenshots of my project critiques. I sent those to Webskitters, and they got it done.

Any advice for potential customers?

When you work with Webskitter, you are entering a globalized situation where you're dealing with people in another country. For the work they do, the price is good. Just be prepared for the project to potentially take a little longer than usual.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the COO of Prime Time Views, Inc. We are putting together a platform that allows creators to share their content with the general public, as well as have followers and supporters and gain money.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webskitters?

We needed help developing and designing our web-based platform from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started by giving Webskitters bullet points of what we wanted to accomplish, our goals, and our timeline. After that, they conducted their own research. We got back together and finalized everything. UI/UX was one of the most critical parts of our platform because we wanted it to be user-friendly.

For its functionality, we needed the platform to be capable of content sharing and bank and credit card processing. We also needed to market on social media, and Webskitters created our accounts on Twitter and Instagram. 

Webskitters developed the platform using PHP; in 15–20 days,0. it was fully operational. We had weekly meetings to go through everything they accomplished. In addition, they assigned a senior team leader to assist us.

The platform is not yet live, and its development is ongoing.

Their team consists of five people — one project manager, and the rest are developers.

My partner did a lot of research online, and he found Webskitters.

We started working together in November 2020, and it’s ongoing.

We have spent close to $100,000.

The platform isn’t up yet, so we don’t have any metrics or statistics that show the impact of their work. 

How did Webskitters perform from a project management standpoint?

We are always able to work together. Of course, there are some hiccups, but Webskitters addresses our concerns. They're very proactive, and their team is always available. Communication is consistent and immediate, and if there's an issue, they always get back to us right away.

We communicated via WhatsApp and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Webskitters is willing to go the extra mile for us. For example, before we had anything signed, they returned and gave us some research and plans on how they would develop the platform. Also, their pricing is very competitive. 

They never said no, and if they didn’t know how to do a task, they would find the answer. For the credit card processing features, they referred us to another provider that put everything together. Webskitters is an all-inclusive shop where we got everything done. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

In the beginning, we only had a mid-level project manager despite the project’s complexity. In part, it was also our fault because we were saving money. In hindsight, they could have told us that our project needed some additional funding to proceed smoothly. Maybe they could have been more direct with their communication.

You have to understand what your goals are and what you're trying to accomplish. Clearly articulate what you want to do, and let them pick up from there.

We hired the service of Webskitters LLC to promote our Salon & Spa business on the digital platform, especially on Facebook & Instagram.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to achieve our digital presence. It was our first effort to take our business to the online world. We wanted to gain attention from our audience and to make them aware of our presence. A comprehensive digital marketing project is what we were looking for.

We wanted a comprehensive Digital Marketing team looking after our business online presence. We wanted creative strategies, and innovative ideas for our business.

Before hiring Webskitters as our digital marketing partner, We had contracted them and has meetings with them where they presented us with their strategies and plans for carrying out our project. We also desired to have monthly progress reports and KPIs, to understand the progress of our project.

As the marketing project began, we soon realized our social media presence got noticed. Our numbers of followers began rising. And very soon, the foot fall in our salon also began to rise.

The workflow process is awesome. There was frequent communications between us. We received our monthly reports on time and we also had the right kind of results that we always had desired for.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webskitters LLC?

We were stagnant in our business for quite a long time. There was no growth. We were stuck. Our quality is good, our business is friendly and reasonable, but yet we were not growing, instead, gradually we started to lose our clients to young and new players in the market. It was a tough phase for our business.

It was then that we decided to revamp our business, starting with revamping our website. We analysed our competitor's business and stunned by their appealing design and functionalities. We wanted our client's back and hence require UI/UX design services for our business.

Our goal for this project was to get a wonderfully designed website for our business.

For us, although we are operating in the online world, word-of-mouth plays a key role in making any decisions. We got to know about Webskitters LLC through many of our clients, whose businesses are doing great online. That was our cue. We knew we have to go to Webskitters LLC and see their approach towards our requirements.

It was then that I, on behalf of my company, contacted them and shared my requirements with them. They were really good listeners and inquisitive about our business objectives and future goals.

They asked some questions for understanding the business in detail and then shared the details, which they thought would best suit us. Needless to say, they won us over with their approach and the details about the prospective project they shared.

Webskitters understood our requirements of appearing appealing to our clients at the first glance. They guided us on what changes our business website needs and how we can improve the entire look-and-feel of the business. They were convincing in their approach and they even presented data proving their point of a great-looking website lessens the bounce rate of the audience.

They started with the project, included a graphic designer in our team too to enable us to gain unique and original graphics for our business. It was a great way for establishing our firm hold over the market. They shared with us the wireframe and phototype of the project and valued our feedback by incorporating the modifications we suggested. It was a really good experience with them.

My UI/UX design and graphic design project had a Project Manager, 2 UI designers, 3 UX designers, and 1 graphic designer. The composition was quite good and every team member was excellent in their approach for presenting the desirable result.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I received a perfectly-finished and visually-appealing website for our business. Our team, board of directors, and every other member on board loved the outcome that Webskitters have given us. It is attracting a lot of traffic and attention from our audience these days, it's all because of their excellent job.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their project management style was very impressive. I had a Project Manager to coordinate with, he was in charge of my project and of communicating with him. Under him, I was assigned a team of 2 UI designers, 3 UX designers, and 1 graphic designer, for looking after my project.

The designers co-ordinated with the P.M, who further informed me about any query or issue. The communication was clear. The P.M was efficient enough to establish great communication and encourage healthy relationships. It was definitely a lovely experience.

The company's dedication and excellent team definitely makes up its USP.

I don't think so. For me, they are just ideal in every way.
