Our website is awful and unfortunately the customer platform we use is inflexible and outdated we have to work with due to our investor requirements, There for we started with WebFX for CRO support to enhance the UI/UX experience, build out content, and master the funnel of digital engagement.

We have increased our sales by 30%+ due to the enhancements WebFX has provided such as the improved checkout landing page, the shopping cart experience, content creation, master SEO and more. In March, WebFX tested out the performance of a static homepage banner vs. an interactive / responsive homepage banner with at CTA pointing to the product page. This test resulted in an $10,000 variance in revenue favoring the experiment, with a $50 increase in average order value. Also in March, WebFX tested out a more structure category page. This test resulted in more users adding the products to their cart, increasing the number of customers in the conversion funnel.
Lastly, in April, WebFX tested out the removal of a section on the checkout page focused on “how users found CEFALY” - by removing this section, we saw a $20,000 variance in revenue favoring the experiment with 30 more transactions occurring on the experiment version of the checkout page.

Our website was looking tired and old and was built on a custom CMS platform that produced little to no SEO advantage. The site was clunky and difficult to make edits to from an administrative side of things.
We had very little online presence and our search ranking was worsening year after year. We hired WebFX to design, build and launch a new website on a CMS platform that offers many plug-in options and we continue to work with WebFX for their SEO and content creation support.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected WebFx because of its reputation and for the size of the team of professionals that were available to help. What helped me make the deciding factor was the transparency of the process and the level of customer service that started on day 1.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Our project journey started with a few different web calls and discussions of proposals and explanations of services. We then accepted the proposal and we were assigned a project manager who became the single point of contact throughout the project. It was such a great experience having a single contact to route all of our discussions through and manage the timeline.
In addition to the assigned person, WebFX has some excellent cloud-based tools that allowed me to communicate, review content, approve content, and make suggestions along the way. This process was seamless the entire way through to going live with the new website. Post-launch, we were then assigned to a content manager who became our single point of contact for our ongoing SEO and content creation.
Each month we are provided a report indicating how WebFX has helped improve rankings and my contact person holds a web call to walk through the report and answer questions. At no point in time did I ever wonder what they were working on.

I would say from our initial introduction to our current ongoing relationship there have been 4-5 various people. Their positions ranged from sales associate to project manager to SEO strategist and so on.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Right when the project kicked off WebFX started tracking the data of how our old website was performing and has used that data to compare how our new website is currently performing month after month. We have seen steady growth both in page views and lead generation and we have the unique ability to track all of that with some handy built-in tools that WebFX has. Each month our assigned contact walks us through the performance report and shares with us next month's goals.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our workflow was always very effective thanks to the process and systems they have in place. Communication with their team has always been top-notch and all of their team members are very responsive. In addition to the collaboration tools they offer, they were always willing to use and communicate through tools I was comfortable with as well.

I am impressed by the level of service and communication I have received despite the size of their organization. Additionally, I have grown to really appreciate having a single point of contact to route all of my questions, comments, and concerns through.

I honestly don't have much to complain about other than their pricing is a bit on the higher end. Upon my arrival to Envision a little over 5 years ago, it was apparent that we were due for a new website appearance and usability upgrade to better our customer experience. We were impressed with the offering by WebFX that spanned from improved feature designs, SEO improvements, and an overall updated UI that modernized our marketing to potential patients and referring physicians.

The full suite of services beyond just a web UI redesign was huge for us (SEO, patient reviews, and more) and the pricing was very reasonable and scalable for our needs both then and now.

After a handful of conversations familiarizing the WebFX team with our website needs, the nature of our imaging business, and the overall culture of our company we were presented with two different design styles for our new website appearance.

Upon finalizing the stylistic design, WebFX translated some content from our old website and also created a significant amount of new content that expanded upon our service offerings and the patient's understanding of each and every offered imaging procedure.

I’m the commercial sales manager at Astro Machine Works, a machine shop.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebFX?
We needed help with website development, SEO, and PPC.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We utilize them for website development and ongoing SEO campaigns. For the most part, they’ve built our website from scratch. We initially had a website, but they took it and did a complete overhaul using WordPress as the platform. Furthermore, we use them for email blast services; they do press releases and content writing. For the SEO part, we conduct keyword research together and rely on them to handle backlinking efforts and blog posting. They’re also helping us manage one of our Google ad campaigns.

We hired WebFX to help us improve our search results, increase our domain authority, and generate more site conversions.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We performed a thorough search of digital marketing agencies and specifically sought companies that had experience in our market segment. After narrowing down the list, we interviewed 3 agencies. It was very apparent that WebFX was the right fit for our needs as they have experience with companies like ours and displayed knowledge about our needs.

WebFX got started by performing an analysis of our current website, taking note of the underlying platform, amount and type of content currently present. Upon completion of their analysis, they recommended and completed some simple fixes to items that we weren't aware were missing or broken. They were able to identify some new keyword opportunities that we hadn't known previously and also recommended steps to increase our domain authority. We are currently in the process of building content to utilize those keywords and work to increase our DA.

We have primarily worked with just 2 people, our Internet Marketing Specialist and Integration Specialist. However, we are aware there are many other people behind the scenes creating content and providing guidance on our campaign.

It is still too early to determine results, but it is already apparent that we are on track to achieve the type of results were are seeking. From the processing and tracking tools put in place, we feel confident the conversions will come.

The interactions we have had with everyone have been professional with a casual demeanor. Everyone has been very easy going and helpful. One of the selling points that helped convince us to choose WebFX involves their Customer Data Platform. Their portal holds a wealth of information including virtually all communications. From email interactions to each recorded phone meeting, you can easily reference the contact. As for timeliness, responses to inquiries are frequently completed within an hour or two and usually never more than a day.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The Customer Data Platform has stood out as an impressive feature. The responsiveness and professionalism of everyone I have ever interacted with has been a most positive experience.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager for a light therapy company, and we offer solutions for pain relief and skin care as well as anti-aging and acne treatment.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebFX?
WebFX is currently helping us with our SEO, PPC, social advertising, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
What was the scope of their involvement?
We didn’t have a strong all-around strategy when we started working with them, so we provided WebFX with access to our website, our Google Analytics, and the data that we’ve gathered from our previous marketing partners. They also performed their own research to assess our current campaigns and to see what our competitors were doing. From that, they came up with persona mapping and reshaped the user journeys and objectives for the different parts of our marketing funnel.
In terms of social media advertising, we started on Facebook and Instagram and then expanded to TikTok and Pinterest. Their team continues to do A/B testing with our ads. We ran into a few snags when it came to Facebook; we’re considered by the platform as a medical device business, and as such, aren’t permitted to advertise. However, WebFX was able to resolve this for us.
Apart from that, their team also recovered a few poorly performing videos from our previous campaigns. They worked with the same creatives behind the videos to get them up and running.
What is the team composition?
They have different account managers for each of the main services they’re providing. I work directly with all four of them.
How did you come to work with WebFX?
My manager was the one who found them. Though I’m not 100% sure about the reason behind their selection, once I got involved, I became really excited about the partnership for various reasons. For one, they are official partners of Google and Facebook, and only a few companies have that status. I also liked that we would be able to reach out to a direct contact should we have any concerns or issues.
How much have you invested with them?
We were initially paying a $10,000 monthly retainer, but that has increased a bit since we’ve expanded our services. We’re probably in the ballpark of $80,000, not including the ad spend.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
During the early stages of our engagement, we immediately started seeing a lot of activity, engagement, and conversion via Pinterest. That was really exciting. We’ve since been able to fulfill several goals with them:
- To achieve a 100% reach in the first two years of the project - WebFX has helped us attain 94%–95%.
- To reach $1.5 million in sales - we’ve achieved 98% of that figure.
- To gain 500 new subscribers - we’ve gained 328% of that number.
WebFX has also helped us work through certain challenges after our website’s relaunch. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to bounce back really quickly. By December 2021, they’ve helped bring our organic searches up by 1,646%.
How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?
We struggled with previous marketing companies in terms of their communication, understanding of our company, and expertise, but we don’t experience that at all with WebFX. It’s very refreshing how they set the expectations very high but meet — if not exceed — them every time.
They set deadlines well and constantly let us know what they’ve accomplished and what they’ll be working on next. On top of that, they always seek our feedback and provide recommendations to improve our current performance. They’re very quick to pivot a campaign when it’s not performing well.
I believe they have their own project management system, but we mostly correspond through email. We also hold monthly and ad-hoc meetings. Their communication is stellar, and they always try to respond within 48 hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a ton of different services, and they’re extremely knowledgeable. The fact that they’re official Facebook and Google partners has been key to the success of our campaigns.
We appreciate how they try to understand not just our company but also our goals. We’re very pleased with the partnership, and it’s a great experience overall.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We did have some issues with one of their account managers. Everyone else was very communicative, but I had a hard time contacting and getting updates from this particular person. They’ve since switched her out, though, and the new account manager has been very good at keeping us in the loop.

Discuss and set expectations well on your side so that everybody is on the same page.

Our Website was developed a while ago. It was not patient facing, UX was difficult, lacked clear organization, and was not very mobile friendly. Not being mobile friendly was huge problem since over 65% of our visits to our site come from mobile devices The old website was also only in one language and did not meet ADA compliance.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We interviewed several large companies. Many lock you into a Long term contract so that the cost upfront is low, but they give you a templated website and you do not own it in long run. Web FX creates a site on WordPress and that gives us much more flexibility and ability to make quick changes. In addition they are able to create content to sync up with our Adwords campaigns.

I was assigned a project manager and after several discovery calls we had a plan in place. The rest was easy. Selecting style, look and feel and then we moved on to content. I was given a staging site that has a tool in place for any comments or edit recommendations. The process has been extremely organized and I have been kept informed during every step of the process. Web FX has made me look great in front of my leadership team.

They had a entre design team in place in addition to my project manager and my day to day Marketing Manager. I honestly could not ask for a better team. Very professional, knowledgeable and patient (this was the first time I was handling a project like this!)

Once my staging site was built, I got feedback from several people that were not employees. I let them navigate on desktop and mobile and they had great feedback. All was positive. Seamlessly. We had a lot of content. Some which was critical to the new site and some we needed to purge. If anything feel into the wrong category, WebFX was quick to troubleshoot and get us back on track.

Everyone is happy with the new site, from senior leads to the employees. It’s updated, it’s current, it’s fresh. With each relaunch we want to make the online experience better for our customers. WebFX helps us make that happen.

Our owners were very pleased with the upgrades. They loved the way it looks. Further, we believe the new site casts us in a more professional light. When customers would visit our old site, they saw how outdated it was, and that reflected poorly on us. We are much more of a legitimate entity now.
How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?
WebFX always respected our sense of urgency with making quick changes and completing this project. Since the launch, I still attend WordPress meetups and call Amanda afterward talking about features I’d like to implement. She has always been willing to facilitate those updates.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Amanda has taken the time to help me learn how to manage the site on my own, which I have appreciated, but there are still times when I require outside assistance. In those cases, the WebFX team is always helpful.

No. We’ve had excellent communication at all times. We’ve been quite happy.
