Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a software development firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebDimensions?
We wanted to build new products and launch new websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
WebDimensions worked with us on multiple projects. They helped us build a real estate listing site where sellers can find good investment properties. The biggest project was they helped us build a discount or coupon site for Amazon deals. They use a variety of technologies, including LAMP Stack, JavaScript, Node.js, as well as the Amazon API (RETF API).
What is the team composition?
My main contact is Nayan (owner, WebDimensions). I also work with two developers.
How did you come to work with WebDimensions?
I saw a similar product that works with the Amazon API for Amazon sellers. I noticed that they built it, so I contacted them and asked if they could help build our version.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2016 and the engagement is ongoing.
We work in phases. The first iteration took three months and they just finished the third phase. Each phase probably took 3–6 months. They're still working on some aspects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The sites they’ve built are quite successful. Their code is good, and the sites function as expected. For example, the deal site promotes over 10,000 different Amazon deals. I don't know the number of users, but the marketing list is over one million people.
How did WebDimensions perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team is excellent in terms of keeping up with deadlines and communication. We use Worksnaps, Trello boards, and Google spreadsheets. Nayan serves as the project manager, but he also lets me work directly with his coders. I talk to one of the coders almost every day on Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're fast. If I give them the criteria for an improvement or a bug fix, they'll finish in a day or sometimes even less.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not really.
Any advice for potential customers?
Don't try to build your graphic design while you're trying to build the products. Have all your layouts completed first. Then work with WebDimensions to build what you've already designed graphically.

Just by Trello board, We have divide each and every module and assing that modules in between developers.

Their communication was great.

I think they can improve some quality of work as well as need to upgrade their developers with latest technology.
The sites that WebDimensions built are well-received. The team corrects bugs quickly and responds equally as promptly to other technical concerns. They kept the project moving (and on budget) through constant communication.
