Our company offers a wide range of rapid testing, products for diagnostics and labs, and we continue growing our brand. We are on a mission to provide an all-in-one solution for healthcare providers and help them achieve their new heights.

We wanted to grow our brand online and sell our products globally. So, we chose the Magento 2 platform for our website. This had to be a complex multilingual solution targeting several countries, and we were looking for an experienced company to implement our plans and refreshed website design. We partnered with WEB4PRO and wanted them to implement a new design. However, they discovered that our backend also needs improvement and rebuilding of several features in the process to realize new necessary features. The WEB4PRO team carried out all of these tasks.

Our project included Magento 2 backend and frontend development. As we deal with medical products, there are some specific requirements to their selling existing for the medical and healthcare industry. Not all products can be sold and delivered to particular countries. For these purposes, WEB4PRO created the custom functionality to specify the list of countries to which the product will not be delivered. The WEB4PRO team implemented the whole online store with all its specific features.

First, our website has two versions in different languages, targeting different countries. Second, we implement two ways of realization for different products - some products can be bought right from the shopping cart, and some - by request for a quote. They also helped us meet GDPR requirements and implemented a necessary cookie-based functionality. On a final stage before release, WEB4PRO worked with our SEO specialist and also suggested some solutions and made a technical SEO setup for our website.

There were 4 frontend developers, 2 backend developers, 1 QA, and 1 Project Manager. I must admit that they provided more specialists for this project to speed up the product delivery per sprint, which helped.

Our website is live, and we are happy with the result. Now we continue our way of brand growth and expect an increase in our opportunities and results. Our requests were carefully investigated, and the final solution meets the specific and strict requirements of our industry. We also improved the flexibility and usability for our customers and increased the number of useful features for our business.

Their project management style is quite flexible and effective. We had team meetings once every two days using Zoom. For tracking up the progress we used Trello, and their team also uses Redmine for controlling their internal process. During all stages of the project, the team followed our agreed plan and increased their capabilities to meet the delivery date.

Their Project Manager worked with our Marketing Specialist and discussed the details and specifics of our brand. We built friendly and effective communication. Our teams understand each other and always keep in touch. Also, works and progress are fixed in Trello and look really transparent for us.

WEB4PRO is a truly flexible team. They managed to adjust to our business requirements and show themselves as professional developers and as people who understand our business needs and could give valuable business advice and solutions. I’m a Chief Editing Officer at Newsroom. Newsroom is a news portal intended to deliver up-to-date news and actual stories for the Ukrainian audience. There anyone can find news and interesting information to keep track of the latest events.

We aimed to grow and develop our Newsroom digital project based on Drupal 7.5. When we started work with WEB4PRO, we needed to have a new theme installed and set up, make global changes to the website structure and add new functionalities, such as multilingual capability. Our Newsroom project optimization includes: installing and setting up a new theme for Drupal to refresh the website design, changing the website structure, and adding new categories to our news portal. We also improved the website usability by adding useful attributes for the user, such as the date of publishing, the suggestion of actual news. We are also implementing Google structured data and AMP versions for our articles.

One of the significant steps we already implemented with WEB4PRO is adding one more language. Now our project is available in two different languages. This helps us to provide a better user experience and attract a broader audience. All these steps require deep expertise in Drupal technology and also understanding of technical SEO. Now we are on the way to content optimization. Also, WEB4PRO provides us with ongoing support.

We were working with a large client that required Magento programming for a stocktaking solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?

WEB4PRO was our development partner for developing the Magento platform, building new features to meet the client’s requirements. It lets customers purchase items online that aren’t held in a store. Once the item moves from a warehouse to the store, the user can then go and pick it up.

Every sprint has gone well with WEB4PRO. The team delivers a high level of quality, and we know exactly what to expect from each session. WEB4PRO can conduct their own sprint reviews, which our client has been very happy about. The client has actually called back the WEB4PRO team to work on outside-of-scope tasks related to their market.

We’ve now entered a user-assisted testing phase, and WEB4PRO is working with us on that side of things. We have every intention of working with them again should their development skills fit with future projects’ needs.

I’m very happy with WEB4PRO’s project management. They pay attention to detail in order to add value. They followed the full story in our planning process, but they also understood the refinement stage, provided valuable feedback. The team leads daily standups that make me comfortable. One of the biggest concerns about working with an overseas team is a language barrier. However, WEB4PRO is proficient in English. Not all of the developers speak it, but their point of contact communicates fluently and understands enough about Magento to translate our requests. All in all, WEB4PRO delivers high-quality work that is well work the money. It’s not as daunting to work with them as you might think.

They’re committed to our projects and are always by our side for major deadlines. If we have to deliver something, they will sometimes work over the weekend and late in the day in order for us to achieve major deadlines. Recently, we went through a security audit and only had minor returns. The quality of their work was reportedly great.

We like that they take the time to explain their process. When we ask them to explain what they are doing, they are always available, and they teach well. We use Slack for communication, which is useful.
