Web Design for Afra Capital
Afra Capital is a financial consultancy firm specializing in life and disability insurance underwriting. Web Design London developed a brand identity and web site to demonstrate a design typical of the financial industry. Touches of color and animation bring the brand identity and web pages to life.

Web design for Aquila films
The Aquila website design makes visuals the centrepiece, showcasing a wealth of footage across several of Aquila’s projects. Within the web design we populate and maintain their collection of films and shows, as well as using full-screen videos to give visitors first-hand experience of Aquila’s production services.

Web development for global pharma company
We have helped to take Tower Cold Chain from an SME to an enterprise-level client by supporting their rapidly growing marketing team in the delivery of new online marketing material to support the re-brand and growth of the business. Playing an important part in delivering COVID vaccines globally, Tower delivers proven physical and temperature protection for pharmaceutical and life science products. Their containers are designed to perform in all supply chains, regardless of the transport type or environment.
The new website is clean, modern and packed with important information for potential business customers. We kept the fonts and colours minimal as to not overwhelm users, as the website contains a lot of text.

Web design for Natalia Miyar
Notably featured in House & Garden magazine’s ‘Top 100′ designers’, both Miyar’s academic studies and wanderlust endeavours have allowed her to truly flourish in her field of interior design.

Web design for International Artist
The web site design is minimal and contemporary designed to compliment Rashid’s work. We communicated with Bahrain to commission videos of his installations which we think are essential to enabling the web site user to appreciate the scale and three dimensional qualities of Rashid’s work.

Ecommerce webdesign for Partridges
Located in Duke of York Square, Chelsea and Gloucester Road, Kensington – Partridges are a high end grocer, delicatessen and purveyor of fine wines and spirits.
This up market family-run food shop in the heart of Chelsea required a sophisticated website design in keeping with their discerning customer base who order regularly from the store. We designed and developed an ecommerce web site for Partridges where customers can go online to find out more about the store and purchase their favourite groceries.

Web design for Liberty Comms
For Liberty’s website, we wanted to bring out big, beautiful images that helped break up text and convey emotions to customers. To assist the visual appeal of the imagery, we added parallax scrolling effects which added dynamism and a modern edge to the site. As there were lots of text elements that users needed to scroll through, adding advanced graphics helped ease the user journey.

Blakeney Brand Design
Blakeney is tech savvy and sophisticated and their new website reflects this. We made sure to keep the presentation minimal, with clean vector infographics used where necessary. As the website should primarily be used as a tool for referral, the design should instil confidence in users – our minimalist approach means that the user is not overloaded with information, and every piece of information stands out more as a result.

SWSKI Brand Design
SWSki are a high-end ski clothing and accessories company based in south west London. The new brand identity needed to instil confidence and appeal to the lifestyle aspirations of affluent Londoners.

Murray Hughman Brand Design
Murray Hughman wanted a new brand identity that is open, approachable and contemporary, without feeling like a traditional ‘stuffy’ law firm. We created a brand identity and website that reflected this – the new logo and web layouts are clean and minimal, with sharp vector graphics and animations to add a bit of flair. The new colour scheme – dark green and gold – inspires confidence and credibility, in addition to forward-thinking, approachable motifs.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Perspective is an art consultancy specialising in the curation of contemporary art collections in a variety of corporate, healthcare, hotel, mixed use, residential and public spaces. My position is Director and Senior Curator.
For what projects/services did your company hire Web Design London?
Our website was created over 10 years ago and was outdated and lacked functionality. We hired the vendor to create a new Wordpress website. We were looking for a clean fresh look for our arts company, as well as the flexibility for us to alternate images, insert new projects and change text as and when necessary.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We did a general internet search for web designers in London. We are in the creative arts industry, so we were looking for designers with an artistic flair. The vendor had done previous creative websites and we liked the minimal style and ease of navigation. In addition, they offered competitive pricing and were friendly, relaxed and could easily understand and relate to our arts company and the parameters of the project.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We first discussed our company background and the goals of the project, as well as example websites that captured the look and feel we were hoping to achieve. They then created a home page which encapsulated our discussion and provided the stepping stone for the rest of the website. We then had interval meetings to view progress and make any alterations or additions throughout the process. Finally, once the finishing touches were complete, we had useful sessions to learn about how to swap images or text in the future.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with two people, the Creative Director/Founder and a website Designer/Developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The new website now functions properly and has a clean, fresh, contemporary look. We have received many positive comments about the site and it has been a useful marketing tool. In addition, we can make simple image swaps and alter text or insert new projects as needed. The overall site's efficiency has been a huge help for us.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
There was an easy flow of communication throughout the creative process. The project was carried out in a timely manner and we were informed of progress points and general updates on a regular basis. We were able to have open relaxed creative discussions as needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I always felt the professionalism, knowledge and the experience of the company throughout the process. They were comfortable and easy to chat with or discuss any design thoughts, creative opinions, or general input whenever necessary. It was both a relaxed and professional process that made it educational, informative, and fun.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't honestly think of how things could have improved or been done differently. It was a pleasure to work with the vendor and we would come back to them for other projects.

What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from September–October 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

How did Web Design London perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was excellent. The team was always on time, and it was me who slowed them down at times. Web Design London was definitely an efficient team.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a publisher.
What challenge were you trying to address with Reactive Graphics?
I was just starting my company and needed someone to design our logo and website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Reactive Graphics designed our original website. Based on the specifications I provided, they gave me several options for possible logos. They also set up our email system and continue to provide maintenance and hosting.
Currently, they design the covers and layouts of the books, novels, and poetry we publish.
What is the team composition?
During the website development, I worked with 4–5 people.
How did you come to work with Reactive Graphics?
I was looking for someone who did both print and web design, and I found several agencies online. Reactive Graphics came up as one of the companies who had that capability. Not only did I get the best quote from Reactive Graphics, but I also liked them the most.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent £30,000– £40,000 (approximately $38,400–$51,200 USD) on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
They worked on the website June–September 2009, and the engagement is ongoing. I have a bespoke website at the moment, but we’re getting ready to change that to WordPress.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our website is nine years old and has served us well. They must have done a good job because that is extremely old in website terms.
Also, I always get a lot of compliments about our covers and layouts. They look different from other books, and people say they are quite beautiful.
How did Reactive Graphics perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re excellent at meeting deadlines. We communicate via phone and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They understand how we work. Since we have the same taste, things have turned out quite well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re highly professional. If you have a professional attitude yourself, you’ll work very well with them. Be very clear in your instructions or specifications.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a partner at Blakeney which is an investment management firm based in London that invests in companies in Africa.
For what projects/services did your company hire Web Design London?
A refresh of the website which had become stale as well as coming up with new branding to reflect the change in strategy. It was comprehensive as the branding included business cards, templates for documents, including extensive work on putting our pitchbook into the new format.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched around online which included looking at the work that the vendor had done previously. We were impressed by his portfolio as he had worked with companies similar to ours in financial services that are relatively niche. After speaking with him we had the confidence that he would be the best person for the job.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project involved a complete brand overhaul. The main piece is the website. The first stage was to decide on what logo we could use which was an interactive process. After this, decided on the color scheme after which we communicated what we wanted the website to project - simple but sophisticated. We went through several iterations before settling on what we now have. The vendor also worked with us on business cards, letter templates and also converting our pitch book into the new branding format.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Not sure how many people worked on it but Andrew was our main contact who heads the firm.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were very impressed by the output. He clearly has an eye for design which we never would have come up with on our own. All our feedback was incorporated in the final design, but he would also help steer us away from our comfort zone to something that ended up being a lot better.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had regular calls and catch-ups. This kept the lines of communication open and effective. At no point were we in the dark on progress. Timelines were always maintained.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Thoroughly impressed by their work. Because it is a small firm, you get more attention than you would elsewhere. They take pride in their work and it shows in the finished product. Flexibility was key as Andrew was willing to work around our schedules and make numerous edits based on our feedback. All done in a cost-effective manner. Any additional billings due to extra work were communicated and reasonable.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I struggle to find something here.
