I measure satisfaction by client satisfaction, and the results have always been very positive. Both their developers and designers are top-tier talent.

We mostly handle the project management in-house, and Weavers is able to meet all of our deadlines. If they’re not able to meet a deadline, they will communicate that to us as to why it’s happening. Specifically, we collaborate over Asana, Jira, and sometimes Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The size of their team, as well as their speed and cost efficiency, stand out. Their expertise and communication are amazing as well. Response times also stay steady at a rate of within the same day.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is feedback more about myself, as I’m managing the project, but they could always increase their QA division. They have certainly made some hires in the past year to help us not have to do as much ourselves. Overall, it’s just good things, though.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that your designs and your communication are thought out before engaging a development team. Additionally, make sure that things are organized on Figma or Invision.

I am the founder and CEO of MoodRx LLC. We provide services for mental health providers and their patients. Our product launch will happen in September 2022. Our clients are in all 50 United States and we are based out of the state of Pennsylvania and Florida.

We hired Weavers Web to build us a custom web based solution using Laravel and MySQL. The first release of the product was completed in July and we are currently undergoing testing and user acceptance.

We developed the first iteration of our product using a hybrid SDLC/Agile methodology with 2 week sprints. While we had requirements ready for the team, we created a backlog to define what each sprint would yield. We had a design team at Weaver's Web that rendered all front end design while we worked with the dev team on the backend design including the database.

The product sprints would be tested by the QA team at Weaver's Web and then we would take it from there. We used Laravel for front end and MySQL for db on Linux platform.

We had 1 project manager, 1 web designer, 1 HTML coder, 3 Laravel coders, and 1 system administrator for deployment and network configuration.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Product soft launch is scheduled for September 2022.

We met on a daily basis with daily standup meetings. Data is being shared on Teams and we use Slack to talk to the dev team in real time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive part that we discovered early on was the accommodation to ensure that our objectives were met as they did several design iterations until we were satisfied.

None that I can think of.

I am the founder and President of Celestial Voyagers. We offer customized travel arrangements world wide, for groups, focussing on the Academic and Gastronomic markets

This was our 4th website since the creation of the company in 1993. We finally got the site we needed to answer our needs and give satisfaction to our clients. Our goals were reached and our challenges overcome

We explained our needs through Upwork. We had a deep study of many offers based on what we thought was a fair price and we selected Weavers Web as they were the most promising among 39 applicants

Before hiring Weavers Web we had the start of a new site developed with WORD PRESS but we could no longer afford the job done in the US, therefore we looked into outsourcing to India.

The back-en of the site was in conjunction with our operation data base. We worked slowly during the Covid years as we had plenty of time and no revenue as international travel was on stand still during the pandemic.

From the start Web Weaver understood our needs and situation and delivered exactly what we wanted. We were the one to slowdown the project waiting for business to return. As the web job is now done we are happy to work with them for the maintenance and more databased development for additional reports.

Our main contact is Shanu. Along the months we worked together we worked with various people of his team depending if it was for design, programing, or maintenance. Everyone was always extremely helpful and delivered what they had to do with excellence.

Zoom meeting were always timely even though we may have been in 3 different time zones.

We love what they did and we will keep on working with them. After 2 years we do feel that Shanu is part of Celestial Voyagers team. They went slow when we needed it. They were fast when we had an emergency.

They are there to explain how we can learn and manage on our own. They measure the timing in a very fair manner and contrary to many companies having the job well done is a priority over running the cash register !

They take the time to be available in the middle of the night to do business on zoom with the US while in Calcutta. They listen and hear what we need.

They deliver in due time what we want. We share a similar philosophy where it is better to keep an existing client happy than chasing constantly new clients. Word of mouth is better than any marketing strategy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very patient and never pushy. They are honest with the time they charge and keep human contact with their client. We never feel to be part of a robotized system. They have always answered promptly our requests for zoom meetings and they have delivered over our expectations

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.... I just wish I could find a marketing company working in the same manner, with a confidence based on results versus promises

Weavers Web Solutions is our primary web and mobile development partner. They mainly utilize WordPress as their building platform, but also use JavaScript, HTML5, and Angular — all of which we’ve used to build over 50 functional websites with custom plugins.

We’re currently creating a mentorship marketplace platform with Weavers Web’s help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Weavers Web has created the mentorship marketplace platform we needed. On this platform, mentees can find mentors, get on video calls with them, and schedule recurring meetings at different frequencies. It has other capabilities, but its main focus is one-on-one mentorship.

Weavers Web has used Larvel to build this platform. Currently, they’re also working on developing the mobile app version for Android and iOS devices, but the work isn’t completed yet.

We started working together in January 2021, and Weavers Web delivered the website in June 2022. Still, our engagement is ongoing as they’re currently developing the mobile version.

Weavers Web’s dedication is great. Whenever we push to complete milestones, they work hard to try and get things done. Additionally, they’re very flexible and understanding regarding designs and requirements compared to other vendors.

How did Weavers Web Solutions Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Weavers Web is doing a good job managing the project, and their communication is very good. As we’re trying to push things forward, we have meetings with them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as a steering meeting on Saturdays with investors. We use Trello for project management and Skype for day-to-day communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Weavers Web’s designs are beautiful, and their team works fast. Their developers work quickly and hard to fix issues, add things, and make changes to ensure everything works accordingly to our requirements.

Additionally, they’re very good at understanding and having empathy for the client, which is one of the main reasons we chose them in the first place. They don’t treat us as a client but rather as a teammate. They care for us, and we care for them, which feels like a true partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Recently, we’ve needed to rush things to meet deadlines, and I’ve felt that the testing has been compromised. Thus, I believe it is an issue related to time constraints, where they don’t have enough time to do QA properly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to set a regular meeting cadence and be clear about your needs and requirements to make sure that expectations are clear. Additionally, it is very helpful to set up a communication channel to avoid communication gaps.

I am the Community Resource Coordinator & CT Fresh Match program manager at End Hunger Connecticut! (EHC!). We are a statewide anti-hunger nonprofit in Connecticut dedicated to eliminating hunger and promoting healthy nutrition through outreach, public education, and legislative and administrative advocacy.

For what projects/services did your company hire Weavers Web Solutions Pvt Ltd?

We operate a reimbursement program for CT farmers' markets that allow them to double purchases made with government SNAP benefits. Our program is expanding and we needed a customizable data-tracking system for our markets to use. Traditional services/apps were not meeting our needs so we decided to contract Weavers Web to build it for us.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have been working with Weavers Web over the last year on a different project for one of our other programs, and they have been wonderful to work with. It was a no-brainer to also contract them for this project once they met with us and assured they could build what we were looking for.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After a couple discovery calls to discuss what we wanted and needed, Weavers Web got to work on basically recreating an existing program we had used before, but customized and simplified certain features. We went back and forth with them to make sure coding was correct and the system output was what we needed. Once the system was ready for demo and live testing, we tested everything out and reported feedback to Weavers Web for bug fixes until all issues were resolved.

In total, we had a team of 12 from Weavers Web working on the system at various points. I am unsure of everyone's position titles, but it was clear throughout our calls and the people I spoke with pertaining to certain areas of the site that multiple people with multiple roles/areas of expertise worked on our project!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have not released our site to the farmers' market managers that will be using it yet, but from the intital set-up we've been doing to get everyone's profiles up to date, so far the system is much easier to work with than the one we had before, which is exactly what we needed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I was impressed with the response time when trying to reach the team, seeing as they are in India and we are in America with a large time difference between us. Their communication was always prompt and efficient to work through any questions or issues that came up through the project process. We needed this system done in a very short turnaround time and Weavers Web was aware of that and took every measure to ensure this project was finished quickly!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This company is very knowledgable and I am not - so I appreciated their ability to interpret my poor explanations of some things and somehow know how to turn them into exactly what we needed. They were also able to do some backend things through our hosting server that I had no idea how to do in order to connect our site to an email.

What challenge were you trying to address with Weavers Web Solutions Pvt Ltd?

We needed help with mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Weavers Web built the MVP of a mobile application to help us raise investment. They used a WordPress template to create the app, which they built in native technology so it could work on Android and iOS. We designed the screens, and they built the wireframes.

The app was an on-demand service for car cleaning, and it had a worker side and a consumer side. The Weavers Web team integrated Google Maps and payment processing with Stripe. Users could order workers to clean their cars at their location, and payment would be divided between the cleaner and the app.

Additionally, Weavers Web used to do web development for us using WordPress. We handled the design, and they developed the sites; they created some of the websites from scratch, though they mostly worked with templates.

I worked with at least 20 people from Weavers Web. Krisanu (Solutions Architect) was our main point of contact, and we also worked with Tarun (CEO & Founder).

The app cost around $8,000. For the web design, we spent $8,000–&10,000 a month with them for a little over two years.

We worked together from January 2017–March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Weavers Web’s work was cost-effective, and it ultimately worked. They were always within budget and reasonably on time. That said, our engagement was a constant back and forth. The QA testing never came back as we wanted, and we had to have someone overseeing the process to make sure that every function worked.

We used Asana for project management and communicated via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

From a business point of view, Weavers Web was very cost-effective.

Not really. Since we mainly chose them based on pricing, we accepted their shortcomings.

Be prepared to micromanage the whole process. They need to be project-managed; you can’t send them an idea and have them come back with what you want. You’ll need a project manager that understands the engagement and has patience. You’ll get the best results from Weavers Web if you have someone on your side who understands how an offshore workforce functions.

We were looking for a new strategy of our online presence and hence required an elegant and functional website through which our audience could reach us easily. We had a very simple and non-functioning website before which didn’t appeal to our target audience.
