Cobs Popcorn needed to put their tasty popcorn on the map. So we created a comprehensive branding and packaging system, compelling communication strategy and campaignable idea that’s been successfully used across all types of marketing and advertising.
With a modern 3D logo, retro styling and the use of strong colour, Cobs flavour variants now stand out on shelves all across Australia.
Each chocolate is a translation of the rich distinct soil from which it grew. This was the creative packaging design catalyst in developing a series of illustrations representing an overhead view of the landscape of the country of origin. Visually taking customers on an intimate journey over these intriguing distant lands. The logo we created is the vessel in which they can travel. The creative link of branding and packaging design tell the story from the onset. The use of metallic foil on the illustrative patterns, simulate the sunlight as it hits the landscape.
Vibrant and distinctive were our key words when we were brainstorming a brand identity for Hawker Boys. We needed to accurately represent Hawker Boys’ Asian-inspired street market food that embodies ‘neat chaos’ – fresh, fast and convenient.
The identity we created is a modern Melbourne design aesthetic that references the bright neon lights of street markets and screen printing techniques used in Asia. We extended the brand into store design using illustration that represents street market influences. Our aim was to make sure that the entire customer experience reflected the Hawker Boy story.
Ballantyne recently introduced its delicious premium rolled butters to the market. Our brief was to capture their artisan approach and make each variant identifiable through a range of distinctive colours in the same hue. With two of five variants already on the shelves, sales have exceeded expectations. We’re currently working on the remaining variants. Yum!
