For what projects/services did your company hire VTI Cloud?
Our company database was create longtime ago and had not been updated since. We had noticed a problem with our database performance due to the high growth of our traffic. Additionally we would also want to move our current data center to AWS cloud to leverage the full potential of the cloud. We do not have our in-house AWS engineers, and we do not have the experience on AWS. Therefore, we would need a professional service to help us with our migration journey.
What were your goals for this project?
Our traffic has grown exponentially year by year, and we predict it to be continued. Additionally we can also leverage the potential of AWS cloud to save cost and move faster.
How did you select VTI Cloud?
We attended VTI Cloud event and talked to their experts before deciding to choose VTI Cloud.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we finalized the vendor, we were working closely with VTI on discovery workshop and discuss our expectations and requirements. After 2 weeks, VTI Cloud proposed high-level design of AWS architecture and implementation plan. After the final discussions with our team, we coordinate with VTI cloud on the migration project.
What was the team composition?
The project consist: Project Manager, and Cloud Architects.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
VTI Cloud is committed to innovating and providing services at the highest level. The project completed and met our expectations. Our system can run smoothly with excellent performance.
They are highly focused on AWS with a great team of certified AWS Engineers. This is the first step of our digital transformation and we are looking forward to our next coming project with VTI Cloud.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have a wonderful time together. The project was quite complex but VTI Cloud team were very supportive and are excellent in communication. It is pretty tough to find the right partner for AWS migration journey, but we are lucky that we found VTI Cloud.
