Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an editor at a video production company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Voco Design and Marketing?
I needed a couple of website redesigns for my business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Voco Design and Marketing helped design a logo and developed a website for me. At first, I provided them with an idea of what I wanted, and they did a great job in implementing it. Regarding the website, they were able to create a site that focused on attracting customers and funneling them quickly to where they needed to go through good navigation and mobile friendliness.
What is the team composition?
There were around three people involved in the project; we worked with Jason (Director of Sales and Marketing), Nathan (Senior Designer), and a website developer.
How did you come to work with Voco Design and Marketing?
I coincided with Jason at a party, started talking, and I found out that he was a graphic designer. I told him I was looking for an update on my site, and we started talking about this project from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent under $10,000 with them on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July–August 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We definitely picked up clients from the website that Voco Design and Marketing created for us. Also, we’ve noticed that our logo design is so good that other businesses are contacting us to ask us who made it.
How did Voco Design and Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
It was straightforward communication. They were based four blocks away from us, and they were always available for us. We mainly talked to each other through texts and emails — even beyond regular business hours, which was great for us. Additionally, they proactively created an animated logo for us, which I wasn’t expecting, and I appreciated that.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their personal touch and proximity to us along the project were impressive. Also, the Voco Design and Marketing team came up with a 7–8 design logo for me to choose from rather than just one or two options, which was nice because other providers won’t do that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. I was happy overall with their work; everything went smoothly, and I don’t think we had many hiccups.
Any advice for potential customers?
Have a good idea of what you want of the engagement — the more specific you are, the better their ideas will be, and that’ll save you time.

I am a freelance artist and create oil paintings, drawings, illustrations, gouache and watercolor paintings, and digital design for exhibitions, commissions, projects, etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire Voco Design and Marketing?
I hired Voco to help create an online presence for myself, and to create a website that beautifully and clearly shows my work and style. They did exactly that and I couldn’t be happier with my site!
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I did a bit of research online into web designers, and came across Voco Design. I looked through their portfolio of work, and saw that they know exactly what they’re doing. I wanted to find a company that knew really good design, in order to enhance my art and give me a great online presence.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After contacting Voco, I had an initial consultation zoom video call and talked about what I needed and what I was looking for on my website. After we chatted, they got to work right away on my site and organized all of my info and paintings in a beautiful manner. Once we had it exactly where we wanted it, it was complete!
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with the director of design (Jason P.), as well as Ashish (the web developer). They were both extremely helpful, communicative, and understood my goals.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After my website was completed, I started getting more attention and my work is finally presentable to perspective galleries and other artists. I’m pleased to say I have quite a few upcoming commissions and projects, thanks to my work being presented so well on my website and getting it out there!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was extremely efficient and they knew exactly what to do once I communicated my goals to them. It was overall a stress-free experience, and I will definitely continue using Voco in the future for any site updates, and ideas for other projects.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What was most impressive to me was the level of their communication and understanding, which is very important to me as a freelance artist. They also had great ideas on showcasing my work, and gave me new ideas in terms of style and organization. I love how talented the people I worked with are, and how friendly and easy to work with they are!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only thing that should’ve been done differently was that I should’ve contacted Voco sooner!! Other than that, it was a great experience working with them and I will absolutely look to them for design and website projects in the future.

I worked with Voco as a co-owner of a candy manufacturing company. Currently, I’m the owner of a dietary supplement company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Voco Design and Marketing?
I needed help with branding and web development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Voco designed packaging for us at my candy manufacturing company. They also built the website for my dietary supplement company.
For the package design, I had an idea in mind. They looked at that and gave me a bunch of options. After I chose what option I wanted to go with, we refined it together.
For my other company’s website, they built it on WordPress. They made sure the website was reactive on mobile and web. It’s an e-commerce website with links and testimonials. They did everything I asked. Additionally, they did the packaging design for my dietary supplements company.

We work with Jason (Sales & Marketing Manager).
How did you come to work with Voco Design and Marketing?
They were a word-of-mouth recommendation. I decided to work with them because they’re professional. They don’t flake like other vendors.

We started working together in April 2019, and our work is ongoing.

Voco is very enjoyable to work with. Their price is reasonable for all the work they’ve done. I’m totally happy with the products. It’s pleasant working with them, and I never get stressed out.
They do everything they said they would do and more. They never hesitate on accommodating any of my change requests. They always follow-up to make sure everything is great.
How did Voco Design and Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They do very well. I only needed to talk with Jason, and he had a clear understanding of what I wanted done. I was always happy right away with what they had to offer. We communicated via email, and they implemented everything. We used TeamViewer so they could update my software in real time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The results are really impressive. I was also never stressed, which is important for me. They were always reliable, too.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I needed to wait for them to get back to me once or twice. I would always prefer an immediate response.

Do yourself a favor and give them a call!
