Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the head of marketing at a Video Production company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

For what projects/services did your company hire Visionstellar, and what were your goals?

Our website was fairly new but it just didn't have the effect we wanted it to have. On top of that it was difficult to use and the person who created it was barely contactable. We wanted to up our website game and we needed to find a company that would meet all our expectations and deliver a high quality product that reflected our brand well. Our goal was to create something that wow'd any person who visited our site while also being informative and minimal.

How did you select Visionstellar and what were the deciding factors?

I spoke to a few different companies before I made my decision. Personally, the biggest deciding factor for me was the fact that the team at Visionstellar understood our brand for the start. They too did their research and knew exactly what I was expecting from this project. They shared my vision for the website and were extremely organised and methodical from day 1 itself.

We had a kickoff meeting to discuss the plan moving forward. From there, we created a basic timeline. From my side I created a document that entailed the layout and look that I had in mind. With that, the team got to work and brought it to life. They understood that as a non-tech person, I was the one who would be running the website and thus they ensured that it was easy enough for me to handle.

How many people from the Visionstellar team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The Project manager was my direct point of contact throughout the process, but he had a team of designers and developers behind the scenes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we found that our traffic increased by a good 40% so far and we are sure that number will double in a few months. The feedback we got from our clients includes the fact that its easy to maneuver and they have a better understanding of our company as a whole.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The team has been extremely understanding and easy to work with throughout the workflow. Our main mode of communication was Whatsapp. If I ever had a question or an issue he would sort it out right away and give me ongoing updates when required. He was swift in his responses and was understanding when I got a bit delayed with mine.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive ting for me was their knowledge base and well as their capabilities of understanding our requirement right down to the smallest detail and delivering 100%

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

All in all - I think they did a terrific job. Even if there were small bugs, they were quick to diagnose and fix the issue.

Our main priority was to develop a simple and elegant web portal adhering international standards, in a lean developemnt process with necessary documentation and support services.

Scope-Conversion of Company Vision and mission in to a proper slide show /Content writing/UI/UX design/Wordpress Theme customisation/Quality Assurance / hosting / email creation / Client portal designing and Developemnt

Five members from the venders team. Sachith played the role of Business Analyst / Project Manager throughout the project and his dedication and commitment is extremely commendable.

As a technolgy professional having more than 15 years of experience in multitude of roles , I am very happy about the project and highly recommend the team.

They were in accordance with PRINCE2 best practises and communication was mainly done via emails and whatsApp

They were very punctual and quick to respond

In this project they have worked very professionally and according to industry best practises.
