Victorious Replaces Tradeshows and Delivers Leads
Our customer was a brand new startup with a just-built website, lofty revenue goals, and, in a post-COVID world, no tradeshows on the horizon. They came to Victorious because they knew they'd need expert SEO help to build an inbound lead channel.
DRIVING QUALIFIED TRAFFIC WITH SEO CONTENT
Operating in a niche market with a one-person marketing team and a limited budget makes it challenging (and critically important) to rank for keywords that drive qualified leads.
Our content recommendations helped expand our customer's digital footprint and start attracting qualified traffic. By carefully crafting keyword themes that map to their highest converting pages, we make sure their campaign resources continually drive lead generation. Intent on making the most of the campaign, this healthcare startup has diligently applied our recommendations, and the results have far exceeded their expectations.

Travel Agency Thrives in a Post-Pandemic World
With search rankings slipping in a fiercely competitive market, Immanuel Tours came to Victorious looking for a partner who could help them win back online visibility and reinvigorate their web-based lead generation.
BUILDING AUTHORITY WITH SEARCH OPTIMIZED CONTENT
When the pandemic shut down global tourism, Victorious helped Immanuel Tours double down on SEO content and move into the spaces left wide open by competitors who had slashed their marketing budgets.
Immanuel Tours has seen dramatically improved search rankings and organic traffic by addressing technical SEO concerns and establishing thematic keywords on its core pages. A COVID-specific travel news page has driven new visitors to the site as everyone looks forward to traveling again. These strategic efforts have positioned Immanuel Travel to hit the ground running and outperform their competition as soon as the world can travel once more.

Victorious Drives Enterprise SEO Results for SoFi
Now a long-time customer, SoFi first came to us for help when they saw a dip in their rankings for "personal loans." Since then, we've used SEO to support their movement into new markets and create strong product launches.
BUILDING MOMENTUM WITH SEARCH INTENT & STRONG LINKS
Victorious's strategy for SoFi was to first address ranking slippage in their primary keywords and create an enterprise link-building campaign that would help them recover their position in search results. Over the past two years, we've become trusted advisors to their team, helping them move into new markets and capture top spots for their primary products.
A strategic focus on search intent lends power to their content creation, which speaks to prospects at all levels of their funnel, building momentum with strong internal linking. We continue to adjust SoFi's SEO strategy as needed to support their dynamic growth.

Revenue Up 200% for Large Online Retailer
Unionbay came to Victorious looking to improve on previous SEO efforts. Operating in a highly competitive market, they wanted to improve overall rankings for targeted keywords and expand into a younger market to breathe new life into their brand image.
Reinvigorating Visits From Existing Customers
Victorious recommended semantically-related keyword groups to integrate on product pages that would deliver high-converting traffic from customers who already knew and loved Unionbay. We also created SEO content targeting the same demographic.
SEO Content Introduces an Old Favorite to a New Crowd
Victorious provided search-optimized product descriptions and product page optimization to support new products designed for a younger demographic. We used search engine optimized content to draw in visitors from the younger demographic that Unionbay hoped to make inroads with.
All in all, we expanded Unionbay’s keyword portfolio by 3,622 terms and grew their blog content by 3.5x. Organic revenue increased 200% and organic sessions up by 115% year over year.
After a 12-month long campaign, Unionbay now ranks for more than 10,000 keywords, driving the engine of organic traffic that feeds their sales funnel and continues to show a return on their investment with Victorious.

Shared Values Create Trust & Results for Agora
Agora set out on their SEO journey to drive down their PPC spend and lower their cost of customer acquisition. After working with an agency that didn’t offer transparent communication, Agora came to Victorious for a high-touch SEO relationship that would see them through their rebrand and new product launches.
Victorious and Agora found common ground in a commitment to empowering our customers. We doubled down on communication to ensure everyone on the Agora team understood our time-proven methodology, SEO best practices, and which metrics measured progress toward their goals.
Staying Nimble in a Rapidly Evolving Industry
On top of the agility required to keep in stride with Agora’s ever-changing needs, our strategists had to find a way around Google’s limited ability to discern the semantic nuances of highly specialized industry keywords.
No assumption went unchallenged as keyword research took multiple turns until we hammered out a strategy that delivered results directly to Agora’s bottom line.
On both sides of the partnership, everyone agrees that the extra effort was well worth it. The results of this SEO agency partnership say it all.
Results:
- Goal Completions Up 847% YoY
- 490% Increase in Page One Keywords
- 3,457 Positive Position Change in Google SERPs

Texas-Sized SEO Goals Leave PPC in the Dust
Sisemore Law came to us because they weren’t getting the results they wanted from their previous agency. Working together, we set some ambitious goals to boost their rankings so they could become the #1 divorce and family law firm in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Victorious Strategy
With lofty goals to meet, Victorious worked closely with Sisemore Law to identify keyword themes that would bring organic traffic to their core service pages. This strategy drove qualified leads and boosted revenue so efficiently that Sisemore was able to cut their PPC spend by 50% within the first four months of our partnership.
The Victorious content team got creative with blog topics that would target previously overlooked demographics — crafting highly targeted blog posts such as, “Do grandparents have rights?” to expand Sisemore’s organic reach.
The Results
- Organic Traffic Up by 7x
- + 4,463 Positive Changes in Google Position
- 21 First Place Rankings in Google SERPs
- 13.7% Increase in 1st Quarter Retainers YoY

SEO for Nonprofit Music Foundation
"We have tangible results that have resulted in new donations and partnerships for our organization."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the executive director at Save the Music, a national nonprofit focused on music education in public schools.
What challenge were you trying to address with Victorious?
We needed to increase the foundation's visibility on Google and drive more donors and music teachers to our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Victorious provides us with SEO services to help us improve our lead generation. Our goal is to be the number one search result for music foundations in Google — we were originally on the second page of results. They rely on us for subject matter expertise, and Victorious translates that into an SEO strategy. We collaborate with Victorious to develop keywords that appeal to our target audience.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two search strategists, including Jennifer (Customer Success Team Lead).
How did you come to work with Victorious?
Victorious reached out to us — they were looking for a nonprofit to do pro bono work for. They'd reached out to several charities that were eligible, and we were selected as their nonprofit partner after Jennifer nominated us.
How much have you invested with them?
Victorious is doing this work pro bono, but I'd roughly estimate the value at $5,000–$10,000 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with Victorious began in February 2021, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have achieved our overall goal: we went from the twelfth search result to the first result for the keyword music foundation. Additionally, we're also number one for the keyword music education. Overall, we doubled the number of terms we were ranking for in Google; our aggregate keyword positioning went up by almost 6,000.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
Victorious is at excellent project management — everything is delivered on time, the team is well organized, and their keyword recommendations are specific to our needs. Typically, we communicate via email and then have monthly Zoom calls. Victorious also has a metrics dashboard that we can log into to see our results.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The results of our partnership with Victorious are awe-inspiring. We have tangible results that have resulted in new donations and partnerships for our organization.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There is nothing for Victorious to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd advise customers to bring their expertise to the table when working with Victorious. Customers can't expect the strategy to be immediately implemented; collaboration with Victorious is key to developing a great strategy.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the marketing coordinator at Eden Health. Our company works with employers all across the United States providing integrated, virtual and in-person primary care, mental health, physical therapy, benefit navigation and care coordination. My manager and I are responsible for our organic and paid search efforts.
For what projects/services did your company hire Victorious, and what were your goals?
We were growing our company and marketing department and wanted to expand our reach but we didn’t have the resources. We hired them to provide full-scale SEO services to improve our rankings, create new content and grow traffic to our existing pages. They have absolutely exceeded our expectations!
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Referral
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
Our engagement began with a discovery phase and we laid out our goals. They helped us with keyword research and performed analysis of our competitors. From there, they conducted a full site audit and afterwards they recommended changes to our site and blog. Victorious created new collateral with our updated tactics and keywords. Their team writes content pieces and content optimizations along with building backlinks. They plan on conducting another site audit, specifically for our blog in the next few weeks. Mandi and her team have really brought our SEO efforts to the next level. We have already seen such incredible and tangible results, we cannot wait to see what the next few months will bring!
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
They assigned a project manager (Mandi) who distributed work amongst their team. Mandi has been such an incredible partner to work with. She has been incredibly insightful and accommodating. Meeting with her every other week reaffirms that we are working with the best of the best when it comes to SEO!
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since implementing the SEO efforts, we are ranking on the 1st page for several keywords, we acquired a feature snippet and our site traffic is steadily growing. It's so exciting to see how far we've come when Mandi presents our YoY performance!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They’ve been great at managing our expectations and are very accommodating with our evolving requests and priorities. We have a biweekly call with Mandi to make sure we are aligned with these priorities and to make sure everything is moving along. Every month we are presented a formal monthly report of our progress. Mandi is extremely communicative of her teams progress in between these meetings so we always feel up-to-date.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their overall knowledge within the industry stands out. Mandi has kept us fully up-to-date with our performance and it’s ensured we’ve had a smooth project. I really appreciate their willingness to deliver. Beyond that, Mandi's enthusiasm and positive attitude have made working with her an absolute pleasure. We get the sense that she is extremely invested in our success!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Due solely to bandwidth, they were a little delayed in getting some content pieces sent back to us, but ever since they’ve hired more content strategists they have been excellent!

SEO & Digital Marketing for B2B Information Tech Company
"I definitely feel like our projects are always a priority."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager at Sterling; we specialize in background checks. We’re a B2B company, but we’re also vertically integrated. We do a lot of other work in the medical field and gig economy.
What challenge were you trying to address with Victorious?
With Victorious, we’re primarily focusing on overall SEO and digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The onboarding process was very easy. Once we got our budget approved, we basically started with a few welcome calls. Then, Victorious asked us what our main goal was. At first, it was a backlinking process, but then we got more budget because Sterling performed better due to COVID-19.
Therefore, we were able to add more services, and they actually let us choose the ones we wanted to move forward with. They pretty much just laid out all their services, and we were able to pick and choose. Once we picked, we set up another meeting. We really got into it, and then after that, it was probably just one more week of research.
For on-site SEO, Victorious changes around meta descriptions and page titles. For off-site SEO, they’ve researched our competitors, their keywords, blog topics, and even the services they offer. In fact, a lot of the strategies that Victorious has done involve assessing the competition. They inform us on what’s out there and what keywords or movements to follow. This is really helpful because it has allowed us to put ourselves in the same playing field as our competitors.
They’ve done technical audits. They give us the information and recommendations for the website, and then we just implement them.
Additionally, they actually wrote two service pages for us, which were very well-written and fully-optimized for SEO. They hit the right word counts, and they’ve given us a lot of the syndicated content topics, as well as keyword-jacking topics.
What is the team composition?
In total, four people are involved. It’s mostly me, my contact, my boss, and one of their sales people.
How did you come to work with Victorious?
They actually reached out to us. At Sterling, we get dozens of agencies asking to help us out because our company is quite big. I usually get something in my inbox, look it up, and I put it in my own SEO tool. I see if their domain rating is low or if they have any reviews. Victorious stuck out; they actually had some impressive clients. Once they reached out, I was definitely interested to set up a meeting and just learn more about them.
How much have you invested with them?
Right now, we have a yearly investment of $10,000, but we’ll probably invest a little more, so it’s subject to change.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2020. The project that we initially started with them is done, but we’re on to the next projects. The type of marketing that we’re dealing with is a never-ending race, so we’re expanding the services we use.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we started with Victorious our ROI has been in the thousands. I’d say we’ve had a 1,100% increase in organic traffic. One of our biggest accomplishments with Victorious has been targeting the keyword “background check” in all of America. Before, we were probably in the 50th–60th position. After a couple of months with Victorious, we were ranking number one, and now we’re fighting between the first and fifth spot.
In general, that has increased our traffic to 15,000–17,000 users per month. We’ve also increased our top three keywords and pushed them all to the first page of Google, which has increased our traffic by 5,000–10,000 users per month just with those terms alone. In summary, we’ve had some pretty big wins with them.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
I work with Janay (Customer Success Manager), and she is very quick. In the corporate world, things don’t move as fast because they have to go through so many people.
With Victorious, we would talk about something and either that day or the next one, I would get an email with an update. There’s always follow-up at the end of the week or the next Monday, and I definitely feel like our projects are always a priority. They get it done, and when there are delays, they keep working on it, giving us updates every other day, and reassuring us.
To communicate with them, we have a meeting every other week on Wednesday. If a project needs more attention, we’ll just make more meetings throughout the week, and we always find time for it. We use Excel or Word documents because our work focuses mostly on strategic planning and the overall digital marketing of the website.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Honestly, I would say it's their strategies. With digital marketing and SEO, there isn’t a certain right way to do it, it just depends on the people doing it.
I agree with their strategies and research, and we’ve seen the results. That’s what separates them from other agencies out there.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have family services, but all of them are branched off into different packages. For example, if we want to add social media or PPC, we would need to add another package to the one we already have, and that can get pricey. I think it would be good for them to expand their packages a bit more.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say the reason why Victorious has worked so well for us is because we definitely knew what we wanted to work and what we wanted to get, so we’ve been able to point them in the right direction.
If anyone wants to work with Victorious, they need to make sure that they know their goal before communicating with them. They’ll perform very well nonetheless, but if you don’t do that, you won’t be able to get the outstanding results that we’ve gotten at Sterling.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a senior digital marketing specialist at a mid-sized CPA firm. We provide accounting, tax, consulting, exit planning, and audit services for privately-owned small to medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations. My role includes website design and maintenance, copywriting, graphic design work, managing the firm social media platforms, ad creation, and email marketing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Victorious, and what were your goals?
We hired Victorious to help increase our organic website traffic and also our search rankings. After spending a few years paying for PPC advertising with Google with varying results, we felt it would be more efficient and cost-effective to shift our marketing dollars towards SEO and growing our website organically. We've been using Victorious since 2018 and have never looked back!
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We reviewed several different SEO companies when we were searching for an SEO company to assist us, and Victorious was by far the most professional, effective. Initially we were only thinking about using their services temporarily but after a few months working with them we were sold and couldn't be happier with the results.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
Victorious assists us with everything from SEO strategy implementation, copywriting, website audits, backlinking, keyword/semantic analysis, identifying areas for improvement with our website, website migration support, and so much more.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
By and large, I communicate with Customer success manager for pretty much everything. He is part of a team of 4-5 people. It's great working with them, and they are absolutely great at what they do!
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since we started working with Victorious we have seen a drastic improvement to our search rankings for our main service pages, a big increase in website traffic, and a sizeable increase in sales stemming directly from our website's organic traffic.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Victorious uses a mix of project management tools including Google Docs and Asana as well as old-school email. We have a standing monthly meeting to catch up on campaign progress, current tasks, upcoming deliverables, and strategy implementation. Our rep is very flexible and is pretty much always available whenever we need assistance. I know that any emails I send will be answered in a timely manner and with a great deal of thought and insight.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Victorious is really good at what they do, which is a lot! Their level of dedication and professional is simply astounding. I can't say enough good things about them. I know that we're in very capable hands and that they have our back whenever we need assistance with any issues or request that we have.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Honestly, I don't have many areas for improvement for Victorious since they are very good at what they do. If I had to nitpick, I would like a little more assistance with the implementation side of things, so we can move faster and get to more of the action items that are on our tasks list. There's only so much time in the day, so extra help is always appreciated.

SEO for Building Materials Manufacturing Company
“Know that you have a really trustworthy team if you’re going to go with Victorious. Their team genuinely cares.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager of Norseman Structures. We manufacture and construct pre-engineered buildings, particularly fabric-covered buildings. We mostly operate in the mining, oil and gas, and commercial agriculture spaces in North America.
What challenge were you trying to address with Victorious?
We were trying to improve our SEO and ranking on Google. We launched a new website in January 2020 and needed to optimize the site for SEO purposes as well as get an overall SEO strategy and plan in place.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Victorious spent quite a lot of time with us on keyword research. We did an in-depth analysis with them on what keywords people were searching for and what terms were most relevant to our business. We also focused on what part of the market sectors we wanted to capitalize on and where competition was.
Their team did all the research on their end to determine the source of all those factors and what would be the best keywords for us. We went back and forth several times based on what people were searching, what they were seeing in trends, and what our business goals were.
For our off-site SEO efforts, they did backlinking and social signals for us. On-site, they handled some content development and provided technical advisement on suggested improvements for our site. Victorious did some of the changes from the technical standpoint on our site, but it was more so on the frontend than on the backend.
On the backend, we had our internal IT team do that for security purposes. I took care of a lot of the frontend changes but Victorious supported us in that and provided both an assessment and guidance on fixing it.
What is the team composition?
Mandi (Customer Success Manager) was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Victorious?
I went incognito on Google and searched for the top-ranking SEO agencies. Victorious came up first. I reached out to them and wanted to see how they got themselves in the most competitive search term. I had looked at different agencies but Victorious was the most willing to understand our business and work around our needs. It was clear that they’d really work with us.
I found that most SEO providers had a packaged program that didn’t have the level of service that Victorious had, nor the results. They had a great track record and their team members had great personalities. They were friendly and genuinely interested in our business and goals. I felt very confident that we’d be taken care of.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested a little over $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement was from July 2019–December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had a dashboard that allowed us to monitor our stats at any time. From there, we could see our improvement in both the ranking of our keywords as well as the traffic on our site. Our traffic, on average month-to-month, doubled from when we began the project until we finished. That traffic came from a variety of sources but a significant increase came from our organic search.
Our PPC also increased significantly, and that’s attributed a lot to the fact that our SEO has done better. In our keywords, we have visibility over where we started with those keywords and where we ended up. In all of the main keywords we went after, we were ranking in the top three positions for all of our major keywords.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
We did a monthly hour-long phone call. Anytime I had questions or Mandi had information for me, she’d email. I really liked that she didn’t wait until our monthly meeting to let me know if there was an issue with our site or if something had changed.
Sometimes, we’d do an internal adjustment to our website. If there was something that wasn’t quite right, I’d get an email from Mandi the next day saying they noticed something changed on our site. So, I know that they were monitoring our site all the time, which was really nice. They really were on top of it. In addition to our monthly calls, we were in constant communication in between.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, everything was so great. As the engagement progressed, we learned new things and had to adjust. Victorious would always be flexible and adjust for us as well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do it. You won’t be disappointed. Know that you have a really trustworthy team if you’re going to go with Victorious. Their team genuinely cares and is willing to adjust or alter things that are going to drive results.
Really utilize their team and spend time on strategy because they’re willing to put in the work and effort to make it right. Enjoy the engagement. The Victorious team is filled with people who want to build great relationships so let that happen.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Rise Up 2 Marketing. We help small- to medium-sized businesses with their marketing approach. Our organization specializes in law firms but has helped others such as medical practices as well. We analyze what they’re doing and then help with their marketing, SEO, implementation, and more, giving them a full approach in one place.
What challenge were you trying to address with Victorious?
We were looking for an SEO team to work on projects, as we outsource that portion of the work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We looked at our client’s business goals, ideal areas to focus on, etc. They did an analysis of the client’s website and provided an in-depth report regarding where to expect the fastest growth and where the client should focus. Victorious found several technical issues for us to tackle, in collaboration with third-party developers.
They provide a monthly report of which topics have the most volume, which brings the largest ROI, and tell us which topics we should focus on. For example, Victorious may tell us we should write about the difference between divorce and annulment, which keywords to use, how many words to use, etc. We write the content, they review it, make suggestions, and then we post it.
What is the team composition?
There are 4–5 people who work on our projects. I have a main contact who interacts with her team which varies slightly in size depending on the need.
How did you come to work with Victorious?
I was researching SEO companies online as well as looking at national ranks and reviews. I narrowed it down to four companies to interview. We found Victorious presented themselves the best, provided the best responses, and had great reviews.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around July 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There has been an increase in traffic and placement of our client on Google since we started working with Victorious. After six months, there was an 86% increase of ranked keywords, 1,607 keyword position additions, 174% increase of top 10 keywords, 147% increase in clicks, 85% increase in impressions, and a 132% increase in sessions.
We also moved up from 49 to 73 keywords in the top three keyword positions, and from 79 to 277 keywords in positions 4–10. Feedback from the third-party developers is quite positive, saying that Victorious is the best SEO team they’ve experienced.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team does an excellent job. They’re extremely responsive and communicative, usually replying within 24 hours. We have Zoom meetings each month and communicate via email for everything else. We use Asana boards and Google for reports. They provide detailed reports that present all the necessary information needed to make decisions, without having to ask them a ton of questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate the high visibility they have, allowing us to see the progress of projects, who is working on different tasks, etc. I’ve not experienced this with other companies. They’re impressive and the cooperation is exactly how one would hope it would be with an SEO team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t know of anything. I’ve been extremely happy with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure they’re the right fit. There are a lot of requirements on the part of the client in order to be successful. Cooperate with their suggestions and provide everything they request from you.

Please describe your company and your position there.
CocuSocial is a marketplace for unique food experiences like cooking, baking, wine tasting and mixology classes. I am the co-founder of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Victorious, and what were your goals?
We hired Victorious for its SEO service due to its reputation and reviews in the field. We did't have much presence on organic google search although we tried to improve SEO by ourselves before.
We hope Victorious could help us achieve our SEO goal by increasing our keywords ranking and drive more organic traffic eventually.
How did you select Victorious and what were the deciding factors?
We did a comprehensive market research and we found Victorious, along with a few others, as a very reputable SEO agency that won many awards and received very good customer reviews.
But the decision to choose Victorious is made after a few calls with their team members. It become very apparent after the few calls that not only their team members are very capable but also they have a systemic way to achieve results proving to be effective by helping many companies succeed in SEO.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
The initial project lasts for a year. We identified a few key geographic market to target including NYC, DC, LA and San Francisco. There are many components of the project with detailed timeline on what needs to be done each month.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Mainly two people from their team, one is the customer success manager and the other one is the sales person. But there are a larger team behind the scene that is working together on our project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We are very happy with the results. Our total keyword ranking on Google changed from 2569 to 7390 over a year and total keywords on page 1 changed from 49 to 659.
Total sessions driven by the keyword changes increased from 2000 when pandemic hits to 10,000 this month. This is beyond the goal and metric we set at the beginning of the partnership.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Project management is amazing primarily due to their customer success manager, Sydney! Everything, big or small, is managed and communicated well and nothing is forgotten. Timeline is clear with monthly report.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The result is fantastic and I think the reason for such good result is due to a standard workflow structure and the quality of their team. Their systematic SEO workflow is state-of-the-art. Everyone I spoke with on their team is highly qualified.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Backlinks could be explained more with the client in the future so that clients can appreciate more the value of those backlinks.

We hired Victorious to help increase our total organic rankings by creating more on-site content and backend SEO auditing.
How did you select Victorious and what were the deciding factors?
In the past, we were working with a SEO self-service platform that was not giving us the results that we were paying for. We decided to move over to Victorious for more hands-on approach to improve our SEO strategy.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
Each month, Victorious has a set of deliverables that they implement such as backlinks, blog posts, social signals, syndicated content and quarterly site audits. We also have monthly calls to go over the previous months SEO performance.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
So far I have worked with two Customer Success Managers who have been both knowledgeable and helpful. If we have a new keyword that we are trying to go after, they help facilitate an action plan with their team.

“Victorious was focused and knowledgeable.”
the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Over the last 4+ months, Victorious offered to extend the relationship at no additional cost to us in order to deliver a successful project. They were able to do that. For the additional work provided at the end of the project they brought on their SEO Director to provide additional insight and guidance. The additional time and resources were integral in shifting the relationship from negative to positive.
What is the team dynamic?
The team worked very well together. Victorious was focused and knowledgeable. They were happy to share that knowledge with our team and we learned a great deal from them. The working relationship was very productive.
What is the status of this engagement?
It has ended as of December.
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
The relationship started off strong and then we went through a period of challenges as our business is more complicated than most and we disagreed on some strategic decisions. Eventually we were able to work through those differences to come up with the best strategy to move forward. Honestly, the additional time working together allowed for our companies to get a better understanding of goals and objectives which resulted in a more productive relationship towards the end.
How did Victorious address the challenges that arose?
They focused on areas we agreed on and made significant improvements in communications. They also added resources, specifically their SEO lead, which was helpful.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
Our traffic has stabilized and we are seeing growth in key areas of our site – most importantly the pages that are the most valuable to us.
How was project management handled?
It was very good.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
They have a very knowledgeable team and they were willing to share their knowledge with us so our team got better along the way.
In what specific areas can they improve?
We shared some of our ideas for improvement with them and they made them to benefit the relationship and the success of the project.

SOLUTION
How did you select Victorious?
We have used other agencies in the past. We reached out to several companies and Victorious provided a nice overall package of services that met our specific needs. They were expensive but offered a range of services that met our needs.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They provided SEO analysis and then we worked with them on a monthly basis to address issues that were found during an SEO audit. They helped with content planning, content marketing, and strategic planning.
What was the team composition?
We worked primarily with a project manager who then brought any needs we identified back to the team behind the scenes to recommend changes or do the work required.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We did not see the progress towards the goals that we had set. In some cases, there was minimal improvement but we saw other areas that we missed on.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager was helpful and managed the process well. However, there was a disconnect between what we discussed and the results suggested after our calls.
The team working behind the scenes was not fully informed on our goals and our business. In some cases, the team made suggestions to do things that had already been done or that were not in line with our business objectives.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The company has a great team of very knowledgeable SEO strategist and marketers. The challenge was the disconnect between what they were recommending and our business goals.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The agency model is good for companies that have little SEO knowledge or experience. We are an established business and knowledgeable on SEO so the services provided were not as valuable to us.

Optimizing Website & SEO for Software in Legal Market
“They were more accommodating than almost every other vendor I’ve worked with.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing director for an e-discovery software company focusing on the legal market. So, we sell software to lawyers, attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support professionals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Victorious?
We were optimizing our website, but we were missing some critical skills that were needed to optimizing our position in search. We needed support and expertise to boost our rankings for certain keywords.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They audited at the beginning of the project. They then developed a strategy for the duration of the project. They optimized our content every month and did something called social signals. Then they created three backlinks every month. Over time, they increased the number of backlinks we received.
Mid-year, they conducted another audit to determine how they could improve the site again. They used their own platform and ahrefs an alternative to Google Analytics to track keywords and growth. They shared the info from Surfer with me as well to optimize content. We also experimented a bit when traffic dipped and discovered that backlinks were really important to grow our domain rating.
What is the team composition?
We worked with about three people. I worked primarily with the customer relations manager, but that shifted throughout the project. The salesperson I worked with originally hopped back on the project the last few months as well. A few times, I was able to work with their technical team directly.
How did you come to work with Victorious?
They emailed me and I happened to be doing research on SEO vendors at the time. I took calls with several different vendors, but I thought Victorious would be the best fit.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $33,000–$35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from August 2019–July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve been super helpful the entire team we worked together. We saw growth on the website almost every month during the campaign. The only month we didn’t see growth was when COVID-19 hit, and Victorious provided us with a bunch of extra backlinks that month. Throughout the campaign, they were accommodating and they explained each of the items on their reports. As a result, I was able to implement a few of the strategies myself. Everything they did was pretty successful. When we started, we had almost no presence on search, and now I’m much more comfortable with how we compare to our competitors.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
They used Asana to support project management. I worked closely with the customer success managers. They were very transparent and were always able to deliver by the end of the month. They share everything on a Google Drive, so I could see what they were completing in real-time. It made it very easy to track their progress.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were more accommodating than almost every other vendor I’ve worked with. I would rank them much higher than any other company. They were extremely helpful and personable. I really enjoyed working with them.
On top of that, their expertise was top notch. I was always able to ask questions, and if my account manager couldn’t explain it, they would pass the question to the development team. They always provided an in-depth response to any of my questions. They were responsive and provided excellent advice.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were a few miscommunications because I worked directly with the customer success manager and not with whoever was working on the project. As a result, sometimes they would deliver items without explaining it ahead of time. I would just prefer to be able to communicate with them directly.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Pay attention when you’re establishing expectations at the beginning. Utilize them and ask as many questions as possible. One of the benefits of working with them is that they’re available to offer their expertise.
The client has doubled the number of keywords they're ranking for in Google — they rank number one for two of their targeted keywords. Victorious has excellent project management, delivers on time, and is organized. They have monthly Zoom meetings and exchange emails to discuss project progress.
