I’m the owner of a company that handles web development, SEO, and social media management. 

What challenge were you trying to address with Versys Media?

I needed to outsource some web design work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They completed 9–10 different projects for different clients. They covered about half the labor in building several WordPress websites. The team completes tasks involving graphic design and SEO as needed.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Dieter (Founder & CEO).

How did you come to work with Versys Media?

I heard of them through Facebook advertising. I liked that it was run by a young person, like myself. I liked the energy and the vision of the company as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over 20,000 South African rand (Approximately $1,350 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2020, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used the time to complete a project, quality of the project, and customer satisfaction as metrics for success. There were major improvements in all three areas. The time to complete a project was cut in half. The quality, in terms of features and UX, was great. To top it all off, we haven’t had any unsatisfied clients. Everything was good across the board.

How did Versys Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. Communication was basically non-stop.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They went above and beyond. The team wasn’t afraid to come up with alternative solutions to problems and implement them without overcomplication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Approach any project with the same level of energy and excitement as your clients. That’ll bring better outcomes and better quality.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the managing director of our company. We assist we specification and supply of electrical and lighting products to the construction industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Versys Media, and what were your goals?

We were in need of a website and approached Versys Media to help us develop a website. Our main goal was to improve our online presence (especially with Covid 19) and required a site where our clients could view our offerings online.

Thereafter we needed to update our company profile, which we also did through Versys media due to their excellent service delivery during our website development.

How did you select Versys Media and what were the deciding factors?

We found them on Instagram and then we googled them and found their website. The deciding factors were based on their excellent website and their own branding and we wanted to affiliate our brand with theirs. Their creative abilities were also a major deciding factor.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had an initial briefing via Zoom. I explained to them our goal and objective of the website. Thereafter I sent them content that I'd like to go onto the website. They did a mock up site and once we sorted our a few snags, we went live with the site.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the owner himself, Dieter.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have a better online presence and as a result our business has grown exponentially the last 6 months.

We used Zoom as our main communication tool. Within a week our project was drafted for review.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us a website that aligns with our brand. The site is also easy to navigate and contains concise information about who we are and what we can offer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, Versys Media delivers absolute excellent work and they come highly recommended.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Word of mouth, proven results, effective communication and pricing.

On-site visits, browsing through historical photo's and listening to my life story, client understood my expectations and what I envisioned.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total worked with 3 team members. Owners were on top of my requirements 100% of the time for any changes and/or queries.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

International interest has increased with successful orders being placed. Was featured in Africa Bike Magazine. Awareness on Social Media has increased foot traffic in workshop and proposed gallery now a reality.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Status updates and statistics constantly provided. Did not interfere with my daily routine. A relief that I did not have to follow-up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge, experience, and modern thinking have definitely made a difference in my way of doing things. The results speak for themselves!

Absolutely nothing I could add. Impressed beyond measure.
