Life Happens | A Promise Kept
A touching love story about a husband who kept his promise.
See the case study at veracitycolab.com/work/life-happens-a-promise-kept

simplehuman | sensor mirror hi-fi
The latest simplehuman mirror is not only a great mirror… it’s the ultimate makeup workstation, complete with a built-in, Alexa-enabled, high-fidelity speaker. Our task was to quickly show the uncompromising quality that simplehuman brought to both the light and speaker components of this product.

Thermo Fisher Scientific | QuantStudio Pro Features
Having already made the launch videos, we knew plenty about the product. The challenge instead came in how to create an engaging visual demonstration of the features. Some of the key features are based around connectivity that allows users to control or monitor the instrument remotely, so we needed a way to show that continuity across locations.

Microsoft | Azure Batch Case Study
Microsoft came to us with a truly unique storytelling opportunity. In most case studies, the hero of the story is bringing their solution to an external client. Here, Microsoft was not only providing the solution in the form of high performance computing, but they were actually using it for their own stores, to display fresh content across their massive in-store displays. While the allure of these screens and the content designed for them could easily take the spotlight, we had a clear objective: to demonstrate the power of Azure Batch, the software used to manage and schedule the massive render needs for these screens. We distilled that objective into a Key Persuasion, which became the guiding statement for this video...
“When technology executives at media and retail companies watch this video, they should be excited by and informed about Azure Batch, so that they’re compelled to consider using it in their business.”

Thermo Fisher Scientific | ProFlex
The most difficult part of this project was developing a style that reflected the modular nature of this project and elevated it over the video we did for the MiniAmp Thermal Cyclers, as the ProFlex is a more premium product. We knew we had to stay in the 3D animation style set by the previous video, but took the chance to raise the detail in the environment.

Eventbrite | 2019 Pulse Report Ads
Eventbrite came to us to produce a series of videos that drew marketers to specific content on their site - the 2019 Pulse Report, and two blog posts full of information to help marketers and managers create event content with the greatest insight possible. The 2019 Pulse Report videos were rolled out as 4 different elements of a social campaign, while the two videos driving to blogs were strategically placed on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

simplehuman | Behind the Scenes
The Challenge
To paraphrase simplehuman...
"When we're creating new products, we obsess over the smallest details. But all they see is the end result. How can we give our consumers a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible care and detail that goes into everything we make, so that they can understand the value of our products?"
The Approach
To paraphrase ourselves...
"Hey! What if we made you a behind-the-scenes video?"
Okay, there was a lot more to it than that, but when we connected our heads together with the client, that's where we landed. If you want people to understand the value of the product or service you offer, show them how much time and work goes into making that product or service. So, we spent an entire day interviewing members of their team, and capturing all kinds of great footage to match the narrative we were aiming to tell. The great part is, we found a lot of smart ways to tie in extra footage from our previous shoots. Not only did this majorly "up" the production value, but it enabled their target audience to see everything that goes on behind the scenes to the final result in someone's home.

Life Happens | Lives On
“Just wanted to let you know that the video is a home run! We’ve been showing it at meetings, trade conferences and in eblasts. People are tearing up; people are reaching out to talk to us about it and the list goes on. Thanks again on a job well done!” - VP of Creative

Thermo Fisher Scientific | QuantStudio Pro Launch
The QuantStudio 6 & 7 Pro systems are the latest instruments in Thermo Fisher’s qPCR family. These new models represent a complete rethinking of the user-facing features available in this type of product. They needed a set of videos to call attention to these monumental updates, but they also needed to do it in a way that built interest before the full launch.

adidas | Tour 360 2.0
“The details matter.” In a nutshell, that’s what adidas told us when they came to us in need of a video for their Tour360 2.0 Golf Shoe. Just the slightest enhancement in stability can make the difference between two strokes and three… and when you’re a serious golfer, that’s a big deal. So, it was on us to create a short ad that clearly showcased what’s different about this shoe from the previous version, and why it’s better.

RPR | In Search of Home
The Challenge
RPR had just undergone a massive revamp in the way they position themselves in the market, and they needed us to find a way to tell a story that would emotionally move Realtors to learn more about their app.
The Approach
Moving is a BIG deal. It requires taking your entire life and just sort of plunking it down somewhere else. To some people that may sound exciting, but to a child who’s only ever known the world they started it, that’s heavy. This was the inspiration that really got us a to noodle on a creative and emotional way we could both capture our audiences hearts, and inform them about the power of RPR’s app all at the same time.

Experian | Boost
The Challenge
Experian came to us in need of a series of explainer videos for their Boost product. And because anything credit score related can be difficult to grasp, the number one thing they needed out of these videos was clarity!
The Approach
We spent a lot of time modeling and animating the rocket to feel just right. It was important that it not feel too cartoony, but just enough “sing along” so that it could carry the audience through each video and ensure comprehension of the information. And although it took us a while to get it just right, the great thing about putting in all the work up front, is that it enabled us to finish each experience video in the series with ease. Take a look at the videos below to experience the full journey you could go on if you were to start using Experian Boost.

Adobe | CMO.com
The main KPI that we measured for this campaign was the engagement rate. We’re proud to report that an average viewer was likely to engage with this video for 85% of it’s length or more. It was important to keep the audience engaged the entire time so that they could comprehend the entire value proposition of Adobe CMO.

simplehuman | Sensor Mirror Compact - Light Story
The compact has very quickly established itself as a top-selling mirror for simplehuman. The more we unpacked the features, the more we realized that each mirror had a story to tell. So, we decided to craft each video to communicate like a product video but feel like a lifestyle video.

AT&T | Network Firewall
Firewalls are a vital tool in network security, and AT&T has brought firewalls into the modern era by enhancing them with a unique blend of machine learning, data analytics, and the knowledge of human experts. They came to us with the task of explaining this sophisticated approach and showing the world what sets it apart from existing methods.

Thermo Fisher | MiniAmps
This video has received hundreds of thousands of views on Thermo Fisher’s YouTube channel and has been used by their sales team around the world. In fact, it performed so well that Thermo Fisher had us create a six-second version so that they could also use it in YouTube pre-roll ads.

Wine Country Gift Baskets | Occasions
The split screen enabled us to tell two sides of the same story. You’ll notice that in each scene, the gift on the left side is designed to perfectly match the recipient of the gift on the right. We felt this would be the best way to communicate the craft and care that goes into every Wine Country gift basket.

Intuit | Money 2020 Conference | Behind The Scenes
Our partners at Intuit came to us with the desire to create an interactive keynote to accompany their GM and VP of Product Management as they presented their new app, Turbo at the Intuit Money 2020 Conference in Las Vegas. The catch? That presentation was a little over a month away and contained 10 full minutes of content. Challenge Accepted.

Intuit TurboTax | Social Campaign
After some long hours (and hilarious conversations) we developed sixteen, fifteen second spots that not only are exceeding the business goals of the campaign, but bring a smile to our faces every time we watch them.

VeracityColab | Agency Reel
It’s been an incredible pleasure to work for so many great clients since we started in 2008. To celebrate, we created a new reel with some of our favorite work across the last decade.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a telemedicine company.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We wanted to streamline some of our processes to make them user-friendly for our potential clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
VeracityColab did video production for us. We collaborated with them to make the script and storyboard for the video. The final product was an animated clip with material that we chose out of their options.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 5–8 members of their team, including a producer, a voice-over actor, a project manager, and an art designer.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I found them on Google, and we chose them because they were the fastest option to complete the project.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent $15,000–$20,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–April 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the video came out exactly how we wanted it, and we're delighted by it.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was very good. We had weekly check-ins, and they provided us with a document that kept us in the loop at every milestone. It was a very smooth process, and we communicated through email and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was very impressed with their capacity to understand our needs and deliver within our set timelines. In addition, they were always able to accommodate our change requests.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there was anything they could improve on — I was very happy with the product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Know what you want and communicate it to their team.

"Product-Tour" Video Production for a Legal SaaS Company
"They put in a big effort and asked a lot of questions to build their own knowledge base of our work."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a product marketing manager for a SaaS company in the legal technology space. We sell our software to law firms, corporations, and government entities that require a platform to aid in discovery processes.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
I worked on two different projects with them last year. The main effort was to put together an updated product tour video. VeracityColab had created a product tour video a while ago, but it didn’t include several important feature updates we’d made to our platform. As it was non longer an accurate representation, we went to them to create a new video script and animation plan that appeared polished.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In our kick-off call, I discussed what I needed, and they asked exploratory questions to further my own understanding and theirs. Afterward, I put together a preliminary storyboard and outline, from which they developed a nicely displayed storyboard and script. We went through a lot of back and forth, leaving comments on parts that were too long or required rewording. I also provided them with GIFs and short video clips of the platform to information the animation. The result was a 2.5–3-minute video.
What is the team composition?
I primarily worked with Mike (Managing Director), and Kristina (Project Management Director) was our project manager.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I wasn’t involved in this decision, as I joined the marketing team after they were selected.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $20,000–$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This video has really helped us establish our brand and voice, and the voiceover VeracityColab put in really helps personify our otherwise cut-and-dry platform. The video has also been very helpful in sales conversations and marketing.
The second project we worked on was a very short 30-second video of a particular part of our platform. It documented a cool feature we wanted to emphasize. We utilized it in a YouTube ad, and it turned out to be one of our top-performing campaigns on the year.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
They stick to deadlines and are very communicative. If Mike is out, then Kristina will step in. Someone is always available.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication and willingness to understand our platform has been very nice since it’s a complex platform. They put in a big effort and asked a lot of questions to build their own knowledge base of our work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be helpful to leverage a document system that organized our work. We shared Google Docs to work on the script, but this led to us sifting through different versions. Having a permanent system would help remedy this.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You might come in with a specific idea of what you want, but listen to their feedback, as they know what they’re talking about. Certain features don’t always translate well into animation.

Corporate Video Production for Loan Readiness Company
“They acted as a true partner throughout the process.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing for Uqual, a loan readiness company. We help people who are declined for loans achieve loan readiness.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
Being a category creator, we were tasked with the challenge of communicating both the problem that existed in the market and how we solved it. For us to successfully break through the noise and get our message out, we needed to create a video that told our story, leaving an impact on our target audience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We partnered with Veracity to produce an animated brand video that would tell our story in an emotion-stirring way. This way, we could have an impact across different audiences on the B2B and B2C fronts.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with two people on the project. Kristina (Project Management Director) was responsible for ensuring that the project was on time and on budget. We also worked with Max (Creative Director).
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I found Veracity through word of mouth. Video production wasn’t cheap, so we needed a team that truly knew what they were doing. They must see video as an art and passion. Other companies only saw corporate videos as boring or just another job to get done; this wasn’t the case with Veracity, so we hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $31,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from October–November 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Veracity had high-quality outputs, and they were professional throughout the process. From the discovery phase to the time we finished the video, the team was receptive to our feedback. They consistently provided us with everything we needed to make sure that our vision was fulfilled. From the first to the final cut, we made substantial edits to the project. Ultimately, those changes made the video even better than we had imagined.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
Veracity’s project management was perfect. To communicate, we used emails and the phone. Kristina was extremely responsive throughout the project. We had extremely aggressive timelines, and she made sure that both her team and our team were accountable to deadlines. We wouldn’t have been able to complete this project successfully and on time if she didn’t use her leadership skills.
Further, other creative teams wouldn’t take feedback well. However, Veracity was completely the opposite. They acted as a true partner throughout the process, taking our feedback into account and pushing back whenever necessary.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their outputs distinguishes them from other providers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Not all video production companies are created equally. If you’re looking for a video production partner who’s going to own your brand and understand your product as much as you do, then you should turn to Veracity. Don’t settle for options that cut corners or don’t take ownership of their work. Moreover, take into account all the factors that make a video great.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a manager at an IT company.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We needed help producing a video for one of our partners.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They put together a product explainer video for one of our partners that provided an overview of their identity and services. The video lasted about 1–2 minutes and included stock imagery, immediate overlays, and voiceover.
What is the team composition?
I worked with around three people, but Kristina (Director of Project Management) was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
We’ve worked with them on previous projects, and we were looking to work with an experienced vendor.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $22,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from November 2020–June 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The video is not launched yet, so we don’t have any metrics. I can say that the client has been giving positive feedback and is satisfied with the video.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
They met all the deadlines, and we had no issues with communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They did exactly what we asked them to do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a brand strategy firm that works with B2B clients. I’m the senior brand manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We needed help with video production.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us develop and create brand videos for a client that had gone through a three-year engagement with us. VeracityColab created two videos for our client to use; one for their internal launch and another for an external launch.
Both videos consisted of images and videos that were taken and produced by the client themselves. VeracityColab provided voiceover auditions and music options to include in both videos. The team incorporated motion graphics and a storyboard, too.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Kristina (Director of Project Management) and a video production manager mainly, in addition to two other people from their team.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
We’ve worked with VeracityColab in the past on other client projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
This project began in November 2020, and we wrapped up in March 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our internal team and our client were very happy with the final product.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very strong with their communication. Kristina contacted me on a daily basis. She always set parameters for timelines and when things were due. The team met every deadline we established.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It was my first time working with VeracityColab. They exceeded my expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to be open to communication. Set clear guidelines and expectations upfront. Know your delivery deadlines and VeracityColab will work to meet those.

Video Production for Travel Company
"We’re absolutely satisfied with the result."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the chief product officer at Onriva, a travel marketplace for corporate customers. We are connecting the customer directly with their preferred supplier and offer the widest selection, lowest price, and the best customer experience.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
The idea of the marketplace is pretty new in the travel industry.
Everybody is familiar with travel management companies (TMCs), online travel agencies, and metasearch sites. Our strategy is to provide the aggregation of all this content from TMCs, consolidators, offline and online agents, and direct channels through a single user interface.
A video is worth millions of words. We wanted to deliver our story in a fun and engaging way through a short video that would explain Onriva's benefits and walk the customer through onboarding steps. It was supposed to be a part of a welcome package for our new customers and be ready before our big product launch.
Normally, this kind of project would take a few months to deliver. Our challenge to VeracityColab was to provide the asset in three weeks.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had quite an intense onboarding session with our key stakeholders and people from VeracityColab - designers, video engineers, voice artists, and project managers. We covered the project's scope and explained our company culture and vision, which were interpreted into the end result. They produced two different animated videos addressing different onboarding scenarios.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager who coordinated all communication within the teams. Kristina is amazing - very responsive and proactive. Of course, there were engineers, designers, and video editors involved.
We really considered them a continuation of our team.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
We did some market research - mostly online and in social media. VeracityColab was referred to me by a couple of friends, we checked their portfolio, and it was convincing enough for us to decide.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost was $15,000. We negotiated a very good deal. We really appreciate the management of the company for believing in us and our mission.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with VeracityColab in February 2021, and it was finished three weeks later.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our video artist also ended up being our "voice-over" talent. He just did a quick demo for us, and we loved it so much that selected his voice from 6 others.
In those three weeks, we met probably 5-6 times, and it really helped - the video became a continuation of our product. It fits perfectly in our brand and delivers the message. We’re absolutely satisfied with the result.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
Our project coordinator communicated with us almost every day with updates, clarifications, questions. We knew exactly what to expect and when, and what was expected from us. We didn’t miss a single milestone.
The project was organized and managed very efficiently - when we had an idea or quick feedback, that was easy to hop on a phone or a Zoom call and discuss in real-time.
We liked the tools they used to collect our feedback - very easy to use and intuitive, even for a person who never worked with video editing tools.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed with their excellent teamwork. It was also a great cultural fit – the team picked up on our branding and styles and was able to communicate our message, in our language. It requires not only professionalism but talent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I really can't think of any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be proactive and responsive - this is the key to success. You can’t just hand over an idea to a third party and expect them to build what you want.
It’s collaborative work, with both parties involved.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a senior video production manager for a cloud-based telecoms (telecommunications) company.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We have a high velocity of product demo videos and brought them on board to help us with a project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We basically had a discovery call during which we told VeracityColab what we wanted to do. While on the call, their team consulted on our pre-production steps to move us towards production. After our pre-production meeting, they sent us stills of the animations for the video for us to approve. That helped them gather the look and feel before animating the whole video. Their team then sent us video cuts with music, voiceovers, and animations. They worked with us from pre-production to post-production, helping us deliver the video.
What is the team composition?
In total, there were 4–5 people from VeracityColab on this project. A producer, an animator, and a project manager worked on it.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I knew VeracityColab through a co-worker who used them for a few past projects. Their team did good work, and we previously worked with them too, which meant they already knew our brand.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this during the fall of 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
VeracityColab was consistent and quick to communicate. They also had great customer service.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team delivered the video on time, and their level of communication was high. In the beginning, they had great communication. Towards the end, VeracityColab became busy with other projects, which led to a bit of a hiccup.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Unlike a lot of vendors, VeracityColab was willing to work with us throughout the entire project. A lot of vendors don’t want to involve themselves in the pre-production phase. VeracityColab was open to discussing the entire project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they did a great job.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Clearly communicate. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and reach out to them no matter your production status.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a senior global marketing manager in molecular biology for Thermo Fisher Scientific. Molecular biology is part of the biocentres division.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
Video is an important part of our marketing mix. We wanted to achieve something that was really cool and fun as part of our program.
We had some terrific creative done by another agency, which was more than static things like print ads and digital material, and we took that to VeracityColab to make an engaging video.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We showed them what our goal was, and VeracityColab jumped on with ideas right away. We had a meeting to present them the creative, after which they started the storyboards.
They pitched a visual, high-energetic animation style. They found ways to take our creative, pull it apart, and put it back together again, so that it would flow in a video. We went to brand approval from there.
What is the team composition?
Kristina (Director of Project Management) was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
They were recommended to me by colleagues in the molecular biology team, who had used VeracityColab before and had some excellent results.
I looked at the work they’d done, and it was great. I believe the original recommendation came from a colleague who’d worked with VeracityColab at his previous company.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost was $30,000–$35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with VeracityColab around March 2020. I remember having an in-person meeting with them around that time.
I put the project on the shelf for a few months, because COVID had us switching priorities. We picked up again in the second half of the year, and the materials were delivered in November 2020. The duration isn’t a fair representation of the project’s complexity.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The moment we had the kickoff meeting, we were all brainstorming ideas. I’ve worked with many creative agencies, and it’s always different. With VeracityColab, I felt we were all on the same page right off the bat.
I like to be involved in these projects, because I’ve worked on lots of them, and I enjoy the creative element of video production and marketing. VeracityColab had great ideas, and I knew they’d be the right fit from the beginning.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
This is one of their strong points. Kristina always kept in touch. We had quite a complicated brand process, and there were a couple of times when we had to tweak the creative to something that was previously approved.
Because we were using creative and not shooting live action or animation, and because of the nature of the material, the videos were put together in 4/3. Our social team told us that they really needed 16/9. We had a five-minute call with VeracityColab, and they came back with some options.
We could either rebuild the videos from scratch or make a 16/9 overlay and put the 4/3 video on top. I was impressed with how fast they came up with a solution that everybody liked. It only added a couple of days to the project.
There was a lot of back and forth, and Kristina was always responsive. There was never a case of having an email go unanswered for days. She would respond within the same day, usually within an hour or two.
What did you find most impressive about them?
VeracityColab definitely stands out in terms of quality. This was a unique project, and VeracityColab was able to take static images and bring them to life over 15–20 frames. It almost looked like it was planned. They essentially back-engineered a way to take a static image and bring it to life. I’d not seen that done before.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were lots of back and forths with our brand, and lots of changes. They should’ve been more realistic with change orders, but they’re definitely well-organized.
One of the reasons we did the 16/9 conversion at the end is that it wasn’t brought up in the beginning. They were accommodating in doing it.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Meeting them in person is invaluable. When we were able to meet in a pre-COVID world, there was immediate rapport. They’re very personable, and I think that a new client would relate to them immediately. My advice would be to be open to their ideas, and for clients to be prepared with their own ideas.

I’m the senior content manager at a freelance business management solution.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We needed to create an introductory explainer video about who we are and what we do.
What was the scope of their involvement?
VeractiyColab created a 45-second video for us. They were part of the project from start to finish. They guided us on ideation, the script, and the look and feel.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a project manager as the main point of contact. We also worked with a managing director and a storyboarding specialist.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I worked with them at a previous company and we had success with them. I decided to reach out to them for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $10,000 on this video.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2019, and we wrapped up this video in July 2019. We’re actually kicking off a new video with them pretty soon.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
VeracityColab was really invested in what we were trying to do. I didn’t feel like we were just another client to them. They felt like an extension of our team in their communication and execution of the project.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
They were really communicative. Our deadlines were a little loose but I was really happy with when we received the final deliverable.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their level of service stands out. The team is always available for a phone call and they always answer emails in a timely manner.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we’re excited to work with them going forward.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to have your whole team on board when creating the video since it certainly goes beyond marketing.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the digital marketing coordinator of a B2B risk management company. We sell and manage risk management solutions for workers compensation liability and manage.
What challenge were you trying to address with VeracityColab?
We wanted to create an explainer video for our claim management portal. We needed to describe the high-level details of the feature and how that impacts our risk managers’ workflow. We also hoped the video would help potential customers see us an innovator in the market.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They animated a one-minute video. We had a discovery meeting with them and they asked very detailed questions about what we do and what the video will be about. From there, they put together a script and animation.
What is the team composition?
At first, I just worked with the managing director. Then in the discovery meeting, we worked with a creative director, a project manager, and an animator. After that, we just worked with the project manager.
How did you come to work with VeracityColab?
I did some research on Google and VeracityColab was a local company. I was impressed with the types of videos on their site and I liked the style of their animation. I submitted a request for more information on their website. I’ve worked with other production companies in the past, but VeracityColab looked more modern. After meeting with them, I was impressed with how they asked questions that would help them understand our business.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from September–November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The execution was really well done. They created a video that was easy to understand. They made the look and style of the video very similar to our brand guidelines. So far, we’ve had positive feedback from our partners and customers. We’ve had several inquiries from people looking to learn more.
How did VeracityColab perform from a project management standpoint?
Our project manager followed up regularly and kept us on schedule. She ensured that it was very clear when we needed to review and submit things on our end. There was a little confusion about the delivery date, but they did deliver on time. Because it took a little longer for us to sign the contract, the final delivery date was a little off of what they initially said.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was really impressed by how they put together the script based on the questionnaire that we filled out. We had another company do a similar video, but VeracityColab’s video looked so much better and was of better quality.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The questionnaire helped facilitate the discovery meeting, so new clients should be very detailed when filling that out. Also, everyone should be on the same page about the goal of the project, so new clients should make sure their team is aligned beforehand.
The client was delighted with the quality of the video that VeracityColab produced. They were communicative and provided a roadmap to the project to ensure that everything was delivered on time. The team was also flexible in adapting to the client's needs changes.
