I’m the co-founder of a small startup. We’re working on developing a software product and preparing for its initial release.

What challenge were you trying to address with VENRUP?

We needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially needed web design work. This was a fixed-price project that took 2-3 weeks. The deliverable was a UI/UX design and wireframes for the website.

Now, they're working on a Python-based machine learning backend development project. The key feature is machine learning for data. We get a lot of customer files for data processing. There are different Python libraries that we use to do data transformation. There are also some machine learning libraries that we use for detecting characteristics of data. It’s a very data-intensive process.

For our current project, they provided us with a full-time Python developer. That developer is working remotely with our team here in the U.S. This project isn't fixed-price, as we need a developer to augment our team for a few months. This engagement is still ongoing.

What is the team composition?

Currently, there’s one project manager as well as a single developer. We manage the developer from our side as well. For the UI/UX project, there was a designer I primarily worked with plus a project manager.

How did you come to work with VENRUP?

I found them through my network. I knew the founder because I’m located in Boston and he went to Brown University. We engaged them cautiously by starting with a small project. Now we’re expanding scope since things are progressing well.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $10,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We knew what type of resource we needed. We looked to outsource the position mainly to cut costs. We didn’t want to compromise on the quality of the resource, though. We’ve been very satisfied with the quality of their developer, the developer's work ethic, and the rates they charge for their services.

How did VENRUP perform from a project management standpoint?

I touch base with the project manager every week or so to make sure their developer is working as expected. The interactions with them have been really good. They stay in touch and make sure we’re happy with the quality of the work. We haven't used them for a typical project management role. They deliver on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They make sure they deliver value to us. I was pleasantly surprised that they went above and beyond to make sure that we get all the resumes on time. We conducted interviews to find the best resource. They were very cooperative in that whole process. They've made extra effort to make sure that we’re satisfied and getting the service we need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s a small team. They have a narrow skillset. They have really strong Python, UI/UX, and frontend development resources. However, they don't offer some other technical skills we were looking for like Java. We appreciated the honesty from them on that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We started with a small project to test the waters with them. That’s how we started growing our relationship with them. I think that’s the advice I’d give to somebody else as well. The team is really good. They have strong expertise but in a narrow technical skillset.

We are a digital agency that required web development services, I am the CEO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire VENRUP, and what were your goals?

We hired Venrup to help with front end design, and web development for a website and platform that required pretty complex API integrations.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went through a pretty thorough process to find the right vendor, we had 3 calls with them. They were the most responsive and professional.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The key deliverables were website design, website coding using wordpress themes and integration of API's in order to process data.

Front end developer, project manager, web designer and full stack developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Excellent execution of the project and delighted with the results.

The communication was great, we used slack and they were very responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their responsiveness, speed, and development skills were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would say they need a better on-boarding process and maybe make it easier to assign tasks in a project management tool.

CEO of self-funded startup.

For what projects/services did your company hire VENRUP, and what were your goals?

VENRUP was hired to build from ground up the necessary tech behind our business idea. They took our idea, and got straight to work. Thanks to them, in short amount of time we now have a working e-trade platform. Our goal was to build our website accurately, effectively, in a timely manner. They surpassed all our goals!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected this vendor because I trusted the CEO and talent they had working on my project. Main factors for me were skill (ability), communication, and strategic partnership. VENRUP came up first in all areas!

The scope of work was to build from ground up a technology platform that connects users to gyms in Turkey. A similar model exits in the US.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

About 4 different people - all were very accountable and easy to work with. I had weekly team calls with the VENRUP team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Built from ground up seamlessly a website for the startup launch in 2022. Measurable outcomes were:

1. Complete webpage design by agreed upon deadline
2. Start building Web Page
3. Make everything formatted so that building the app comes easy
4. Act as a strategic thought partner

Communication was stellar Management was open and transparent with potential roadblocks Each step they gave their strategic advise and expertise

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The culture of work. They built tremendous trust in such a short time. The talent was exceptional, but also hard-working. They did not miss deadlines, and helped with our companies strategic vision. They went above and beyond every step of the way.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing for now - we'll keep working together in the next few months!

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO and Head of Product a digital freight platform in the MENA region.

For what projects/services did your company hire VENRUP?

We hired VENRUP to help design the UI/UX for our platform. The designs that they created were integrated into the first iteration of our platform

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for different software development companies on Clutch and evaluated the different projects they have worked on to get an understanding of the kind of experiences they have. After assessing the projects they have worked on our having an initial conversation with them we found them to be a great fit.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We gave the VENRUP team a brief on what our product is and kind of customers we will be working with. We also discussed the kind of design aesthetic and UI we were looking for. Based on these discussions the VENRUP team were able to develop initial mockups of our product and we were able to have a lot of constructive conversation around these designs on the needs/requirements of our users and what constitutes a good design flow. After these conversations, the VENRUP team took our feedback and were able to turn the mockups into functioning proptypes.

My team worked with UI/UX Desginer, Talha, along with input from, Shahzeb, the Team Lead

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're pleased with the deliverables from the VENRUP team. The UI/UX serves as the foundation for our platform and will enable the success of our product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team was super easy to communicate with. We had our own Slack channel and the team was always extremely responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Apart from the exceptional UI/UX skills, VENRUP displayed a great deal of professionalism while we were working with them and communicating with was always very easy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
