Blue Ox
Goals: Blue Ox came to us with the goal of increasing their online sales. Blue Ox sells RV towing equipment online and partners with 300+ dealers nationwide. Not only did they want to increase direct online sales but they also wanted to increase overall brand exposure and increase their market share.
Plan: Utilize a Google Adword campaign to target searchers looking for RV towing equipment. We would couple that with a Display and Facebook advertsing ad campaign that would retarget site visitors for the next 60 days. This is particularly important in this industry where the customer buying cycle can be longer. We also utilized a SEO campaign with the aim of ranking higher on the search engines so Blue Ox could get more clicks from organic traffic looking for RV towing equipment. In addition we launched a content campaign aimed at targeting search terms people would be using during the “information gathering” stage and created blogs for those specific searches.
Results: Blue Ox has significantly increased direct online sales along with indirect sales through their various dealers. Organic traffic has increased substantially to the site through the content marketing campaign and SEO optimization.

Caicos Dream Tours
Goals: Caicos Dream Tours came to us with the hopes of increasing their online bookings by utilizing online marketing.
Plan: Utilize a Google Adword campaign aimed at targeting U.S. based google searchers looking to book vacations or excursions in Turks and Caicos. In addition we would look to re-target site visitors with pre-roll Youtube advertisements to stay in front of potential customers. For more long term organic results we implemented a SEO campaign with monthly content creation with a focus on providing useful information for Turks and Caicos potential travelers.
Results: Caicos Dream Tours has significantly increased direct online bookings along brand awareness on the island. Organic traffic has increased substantially to the site through the content marketing campaign and SEO optimization.

YaYe Organics
Shopify Design and Development
Yaye has a mission and that is to craft delicious plant-based products to advocate their powerful health benefits for the betterment of people and our planet. They do this by offering plant-based ready to cook and eat meals. They knew they must offer their meal subscription online but wernt sure how to go about it. What tools should they use? What platform? Shopify or WooCommerce? Thats where we came in.
Choosing the Right Platform
When it comes to e-commerce websites you have a few options but picking the right platform is critical to the success of your website and your business. Given that Yaye is a startup and like most, budget-conscious, we recommended going with Shopify as it offers a robust e-commerce platform with ample support. It is also budget-friendly.
Marrying Design and E-Commerce
While Shopify is a wonderful e-commerce platform it isnt a great platform for design. Having an online store is great but not if the rest of the site doesn’t portray your brand correctly. Yaye loved the shopify template but wanted certain design elements. We were able to accommodate these requests by utilizing custom css to modify the Shopify template. As a result, we were able to deliver a beautiful custom e-commerce website.

Margin
MARGIN offers creative wealth management to high-income earners. Their services include financial planning, investment management, and tax strategy and preparation digitally throughout the United States, and locally in Denver, CO.
Choosing the Right Platform
When it comes to brochure websites you have a few options but picking the right platform is critical to the success of your website and your business. Given that Boomerang is an established brand who wanted a custom touch to their website we recommended utilizing WordPress. Not only is WordPress the most utilized platform in the world, but it also allows you to be very flexible. You will never be handcuffed to your web designer or agency if you build in WordPress as there are endless resources out there who can help with your site.
Marrying Design and User Experience
While the design is very important on any website, one of the most overlooked items is the user experience. Is the site easy to navigate? Are important services easy to find? Does it take 4 clicks for the user to get where they need to go? Can we make it less? These are all questions an experienced design team will want to address when putting together the design. Since Magna’s offerings are wide, we needed to utilize icons throughout the site so make things easier for users to follow. The continuity makes the experience for the user simpler and more efficient. As a result, more users are now turning into actual leads.

Alula Essentials
We worked with the Alula Essentials team to provide direction on what e-commerce platform was the right fit. They needed to move quickly since CBD companies were popping up everywhere. Speed was essential. Ultimately, we decided on using Shopify to meet their needs while being budget-conscious. The final product was a lean yet professional e-commerce platform from which Alula Essentials can scale quickly and effectively.

I’m the customer service manager for S&M Moving Systems, and we do corporate and logistical relocations for the transportation and trucking industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with VEA Technologies?
We needed help in revamping our website because it was outdated and not functional. We also needed support in our digital marketing efforts, particularly with SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We gave VEA access to our website, and we told them our goals for the project. They then proceeded to rebuild our website completely.
After that, VEA set up our SEO campaign to bring us back on the map. Before our partnership, you have to look up to pages 9–10 to find our website. They worked to get our brand in front of people looking for household movers and logistics partners.
Aside from SEO improvements, VEA worked on our ad campaigns on Facebook and other platforms. They also helped us with our blogs; they made sure we were out there on social media.

I worked mostly with Jerid (Co-Founder) and Adam (VP of Technology) in building the site. Meanwhile, Tara (Lead Copywriter) did our blogs, and Austin (Video Director) helped us with videos.

VEA was good at project management. I never had any issues with their team, and they were quick to respond. Our problems had been minor, which were quickly resolved.

VEA Technologies uses a piece of software to send us reports, and we use the Google Suite as well. They’re easy to work with and quick to adapt to our change requests. The team gives us detailed monthly reports and explains them for those of us on the team who aren’t experts.

Their customer service stands out. VEA Technologies is easily reachable and understanding. They’re never afraid to give us ideas and execute them. They’re young and fresh but also professional. Overall, they know what they’re doing, so I’m glad we’re working with them.

No, I have no suggestions. Everything they do is beyond what we pay them for.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and seek out the answers you’re looking for. If you don’t know something, VEA Technologies will explain it to you. They use Google Suite, but if you’re not used to that, I have no doubt that they will switch to your preferred platform.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
Blue Ox is a manufacturing company that makes recreational towing products. We build trailer hitches and towbars for motorhomes and RVs. I’m the marketing and creative manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with VEA Technologies?
We run our website through a partnership with one of our distributors. We were looking to increase sales, so we hired VEA Technologies to do website maintenance and also build our SEO presence on Google search engines.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Each week, we have a call with VEA Technologies, where they update us on our SEO performance and internet presence. It keeps us informed as to what products are moving up in consumer searches, and then we can adjust that by market to improve sales.
They also help us target our markets where we’re not performing as well, but we know we have a consumer presence there that’s interested in our project. Based on VEA Technologies findings, we can go in and adjust our spending to go after those target markets, state by state and region by region, so we can increase our sales in those areas.
Currently, we’re working together to build a new website.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with about four different people. I know they have other people working on the project in the background, but my contact is with leads from our design, SEO, Google Ads, and Facebook programs.

Someone in our organization knew VEA Technologies’ principal. He put together a proposal, and though we talked to some other companies, we found they were the most knowledgeable in regard to the campaigns that we wanted to run.

VEA Technologies has absolutely achieved the goals we set for our engagement. We’ve had a marked increase in website sales. We’ve also made quite a few necessary improvements to the backend of the website.
Also, with VEA Technologies we can do everything related to our website in-house. It’s really helpful to not have to deal with two or three agencies — they can provide the whole suite of services that we need in order to have a presence on the internet.
How did VEA Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate via email and telephone. There’s never been a problem with meeting deadlines. Sometimes, we have different ideas about how things should look, but they always adapt and move forward very quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their adaptability is really impressive. The quality of VEA Technologies’ responses to my questions or any changes I’ve made is really noteworthy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing really that comes to mind. For the most part, we don’t have any problems at all.

I am the CEO of Mad Ramps, a pivoting ramp system company. We manufacture the system in-house, which you hitch to your truck to allow you to load an ATV or side-by-side golf cart. The system gives users room in the back of their truck and allows them to do away with trailers.

We had zero online presence and were looking to increase our online sales.

VEA Technologies provided digital marketing services for us. To start, they pitched ways to solve our problems and increase sales. They went on to run our PPC and SEO campaigns. The VEA Technologies team went on to write blog content for our website.

The communication tools are relatively informal. We use Google Docs because that’s what I asked for. The way I like to do things is with a punch list that we both can see. We can put things on it, and then take things off of it.

VEA Technologies gets it. Adam (Head of Wed Development) is the guy I work directly with. I don’t have to tell him the same thing over and over. They’re very communicative.
When things don’t go quite as planned, they’ll come right back and let us know that we need to go in a different direction. I deeply appreciate that they’re communicative of the problems and solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I suppose I wish they were a little faster, but I’m not sure if that’s realistic because they are pretty fast. I just want everything done yesterday.
