For what projects/services did your company hire Vasari Tech, and what were your goals?

We were looking for an app that could communicate the order arriving from the website and to the kitchen and to the operations teams to prepare the delivery.

How did you select Vasari Tech and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a result-given partner that could implement a solution fast and be reactive in case of bugs

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work was defined after we had a call laying down all the technical components to get the app running. That included understanding how Squarespace provides its Orders API and think about its limitations.

We then defined how often updates needed to be released, all the features for the complete product, and the three milestones by the end of which the app could be used by all the operating kitchens.

Part of the work was done on the Squarespace website that would update a database containing all the orders. The native android app would then "listen" to database changes and show the results on the screen.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were in touch with two people. The product developer who was actively working on the product and the requirements and the business developer who took care of business logistics and communication.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the first two weeks of implementation, the mistakes in treating order drop dramatically and the team had more free time to spend in other valuable tasks

The project management was great, we communicate through email and whatsapp. At the beginnign they made us make a brief of our needs, then they translated it in a more detailed brief with a timeline with task and deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed that, from the very beginning, it was clear what could and could not be done. Other than that we had only positive surprises.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Probably being more reactive when we had some bugs
