I’m the co-founder of a financial trading app.
What challenge were you trying to address with VALUE?
We were building a financial trading application and needed help optimizing the app’s UX/UI for our customers.

VALUE has developed the UX/UI of our iOS- and Android-compatible mobile app based on the documentation we’ve provided — the documentation has highlighted the purpose of each app screen. They’ve been focused on creating a smooth onboarding experience for our customers by optimizing the user flows. Their team has created UX/UI design mock-ups for the developers to follow.

Overall, VALUE’s project management is very good. Their team has been adaptive to feedback and executed changes quickly, which has been great since we’re a startup. The speed at which they can turn around deliverables is astonishingly quick — they’ve never missed a deadline.
We have regular meetings, and VALUE has been very collaborative throughout the project. We’ve communicated through Slack and Microsoft Teams, keeping track of the entire process.

We were looking for a company who could provide us the full UI/UX for an app, for controllers we are making. As this type of project is a new thing for us, we were looking for a company who, along with having a great track record, would lead us through the process of designing and launching the app.

We started with a list of things we want, from there we selected a few companies to continue with, which had a nice portfolio and positive reviews. From there, we held meetings and it sort of instantly clicked that VALUE is very similar to us- they're hungry and willing to proove just how dedicated they are. From then on, smooth sailing.

A thorough market research was done by VALUE, which we were presented with. After this we setup some milestones and important things to be included. The goal was to hire professionals, and professionals they were. Instead of just asking us to choose which way to go, they presented each decision's pros and cons and guided us to the correct way of designing UI/UX.

We execute an internal meeting to discuss the following strategy, depending on seasonality and advertising needs. Both Copywriters and Designers collaborate to create the content. We also receive suggestions for techniques that best meet our goals.

An Account Manager, who is in charge of making sure each department meets our needs. A Copywriter, who works closely alongside graphic designers to ensure their message is clear.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the chief officer for social programs in the Athena Organization. We’re a Greek nonprofit concerned with social care. Established in 2018, we’re a relatively new organization that's trying to build a presence and start projects in our field of interest.
What challenge were you trying to address with VALUE?
We were all caught up by the COVID-19 pandemic and were thinking of launching some new ideas via social media about this concern.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our first goal was to develop the organization's website, which they built in WordPress. We worked with them on our brand identity, scope, and the messaging we wanted to communicate. VALUE implemented payment functionalities and handled the site’s SEO. Furthermore, we collaborated with VALUE on social media ad management, content creation, and campaign planning.
We had a monthly collaboration on ad creation, funnel marketing, A/B testing with target groups, and improved tracking. We collaborated on 16 posts per month, and they were in charge of copywriting, creative design, and video editing.
It was very important for us to establish our presence on Facebook and Instagram. We’re a brand-new organization and didn’t have a distinct audience, either qualitative or quantitative. VALUE helped us build our own audience through the campaigns we launched together.

We were in frequent communication with at least four people from VALUE, depending on the need.
How did you come to work with VALUE?
We’d had a short previous contact through our professional circle, and we were aware of VALUE’s work and level of responsibility. They were also nice people, the kind we’d want to work with. We would have to communicate well on a personal level on this kind of project, and we were just a good fit. We gave it a try, and we were satisfied with the partnership.

The monthly fee for social media management was €1,250 (approximately $1,500 USD), and we had a monthly ad budget of about €800 (approximately $960 USD). The development of the website cost us €5,500 (approximately $6,600 USD), and its setup cost €1,500 (approximately $1,800 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The collaboration ran between April–December 2020. We’re currently on pause as an organization to evaluate our situation regarding COVID. We plan to launch a new partnership with VALUE in March or April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
VALUE provided us a full host of services, and they were fully committed. We redesigned and relaunched our website at the beginning of the collaboration, and it was a very good outcome. The website is user-friendly, and it expresses our aesthetics, goals, and messaging. It has all the technical characteristics we were looking for.
In terms of the social media strategy they implemented, our user cost per acquisition was €0.004 (approximately $0.005 USD), and the cost per post engagement was €0.005 (approximately $0.006 USD).
The animation that VALUE put together for our campaign was welcomed with excitement by our users. It was a smart strategy for spreading our message and raising awareness for our cause.
How did VALUE perform from a project management standpoint?
Punctuality and consistency are very important characteristics of their work and of how they do business. VALUE always followed a time schedule, and they were adaptable to new conditions and challenges. Most communication was via email, and we used different online tools to exchange visuals. VALUE was always available on the phone when we needed more personal communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
There are quite a lot of things I could mention. VALUE has the capability to understand the client’s needs. I felt that I was working with people from my own team, which was essential in order to achieve great things. We had one common mind, and we worked together for the best results.
Their creativity is also strong characteristic. All their members are creative problem-solvers, and that's an asset when things are changing so rapidly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re perfect as they are.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
We should allocate time to understand each other and find a common reason and way of doing things. This will make the best use of VALUE’s knowledge and expertise, and make that a part of our identity.

I am the Head of Marketing at Beat for the past 6 years, responsible for Greece. Beat (formerly known as Taxibeat) is a ride-hailing app that launched in Athens, Greece in 2011 and has since expanded in Latin America.
Today, Beat is part of FREE NOW, the mobility joint venture of BMW & Daimler. Beat has 800 employees, a network of 500.000 drivers, and serves millions of passengers.
For what projects/services did your company hire VALUE?
We were looking to optimize our digital marketing practices with a strong focus on user acquisition. For this project, we needed to create a lot of ad sets targeting different segments, and in various formats.
Value helped us with the design and production of our advertising assets and also consulted us in terms of digital strategy.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to optimize our campaigns across Facebook and Google in order to minimize unit costs while at the same time increase the volume of user acquisition.
How did you select VALUE?
We met with VALUE during an agency pitch for performance marketing. We decided to sign another agency for running our ad campaigns, but at the same time, we also decided to work with VALUE on more creative projects in digital.

After we selected VALUE we had some first sessions where we described our needs and they presented ideas and strategies for Beat in social media. I’m one of the founders of Droplet Tech. We’re a software development company that builds cross-platform mobile applications as well as web applications. Our main project right now is a ferry booking application that involves a tracking system in the backend. It facilitates the booking of ferry tickets on a mobile phone as well as the ability to track your ferry with live updates. It also has an integrated customer support system inside of it.
What challenge were you trying to address with Value?
We needed someone to handle online marketing and create ads for us for social and search platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Google.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We have a plan laid out for the next 2-3 months. At the start, we’re going to get an idea of how the online space is reacting to the ad content that Value is creating. Their team will curate and create ads with certain goals including raising awareness, driving downloads, and driving bookings.
At a certain point, they will hand off the creation of the content to our in-house team. For now, I get constant updates and emails about the content being created. Every month I get a list of the brand-new ads that have been created and we discuss them. They correct them according to my feedback and then upload them at the correct times.
What is the team composition?
I have one main point of contact, which is the ad manager. I speak with them almost on a daily basis. Through that person, I can address any issue I would like if there are any with the ads being produced for the next period. I’m also in contact with the two main founders of the company to talk about strategy for the future and things we can add or improve.
How did you come to work with Value?
We wanted to go with a Greek company, like us, because of the nature of the ads we wanted to create. At the same time, I saw they had a good understanding of the technical bits. They didn’t shy away from those discussions, and as a technical person, I appreciated that.

What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2020, but we’ve had to pause for a period because of the COVID-19. They were very helpful with that.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our deliverables were how many people we could get in a period of time, how many downloads we had, and what we wanted the cost per customer acquired to be. I’m very pleased with how fast they respond to requests, especially since they’re not a huge team.
They’ve helped us along on the journey of getting into the mindset of our customers and learning what they want in their ads. They’ve created two profiles on Instagram and Facebook for the application and both have increased: 1,500 on Facebook and 700 on Instagram. At the same time, we’ve seen a lot of engagement on the ads they’ve created on shares and comments.
We’ve also secured the cost per download we intended: from 50 cents down to 30-40 cents. All this is in the face of COVID-19, which caused us to shift how we’re advertising since there’s been little movement on transportation and tourism. That has caused us to focus more on awareness, rather than downloads or sales. This message shift has been well received by our users and followers on social media.
Now, we’ve started shifting back to people who want to travel since restrictions have been lifted in Greece. Daily users have increased from 50 to 600.
How did Value perform from a project management standpoint?
We normally speak over email, but if I need something in the next five minutes I can pick up the phone. They adapt easily and are forward-thinking and flexible in response to our requests.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their technical ability distinguishes them from other providers. They’re also able to understand what the users would like to see in a short period of time. This helps them adjust their content accordingly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There could have been a brainstorming session with their creative person during our in-person meeting at the beginning of the project. That’s just a preference, though, rather than an improvement. This way we would have input before the creative was made rather than changing it after.

I’m the corporate communication officer for Aenorasis SA, a Greek pharmaceutical company. We’ve had a strong presence in the Greek market for the last 20 years. We don’t produce pharmaceutical products, but we promote products from the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
What challenge were you trying to address with Value?
We were looking for someone to help us with mobile app development and marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Value helped us with branding for both our company and our innovative mobile app which was created to promote the importance of the prevention of cervical cancer. However, the core of our collaboration involved promoting our app on Facebook and Google Ads.
We had to be able to properly communicate our message to convey our purpose. There also can be a lot of issues when working with a pharmaceutical company because there are a lot of regulations and requirements involved. This meant that Value had to help us create a communication strategy that’s adapted to our very specific target audience.

Our goal was to build awareness and Value created the perfect strategy to do this for a very difficult audience such as Greek women.
Overall, we’ve been satisfied with Value’s team and feel like they’re a true partner. I trust them 100% and don’t need to look for anyone else.
