Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO and founder of Olive, a fashion e-commerce based out of Pittsburgh. Olive aims to support and inspire women chasing after their dreams by giving them the confidence they need to feel amazing and powerful while doing the damn thing. Olive challenges cultural boundaries and utilizes new innovations to create clothing you can feel good in and wear through every milestone.
For what projects/services did your company hire UpRoute?
Fashion is a saturated industry so I knew my first step would be a strong brand identity. I needed something that would stand out and relate to my customers. I also knew I needed help aligning my business goals and direction.
What were your goals for this project?
My goal for this project was to get the foundations built to confidently grow exponentially. I recognized the bases I needed were brand identity, business development, web development, and innovation assessment. I knew that by addressing these with a knowledgeable team that I could start to really grow Olive.
How did you select this vendor?
I searched through Clutch and analyzed multiple different companies. I actually emailed around 5-8 companies, surprisingly I only received a response from UpRoute. We then had an introductory call and spoke extensively about our goals and experience.
I knew they were the team for the job when they said they believe "people don't buy what they buy why," a quote from Simon Sinek that I have lived by from the beginning.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We first explored deep into my goals and dreams. We analyzed every moral, value, expectation, belief, and vision that I had. UpRoute took those studies and turned them into words, logos, and an identity.
For the brand identity and logos, they gave me three options and after we communicated each, I chose which one I wanted to continue with. They worked with me on business development to clarify my goals and advised on each step.
They also worked with me to create the landing page as well as mock ups for the final site, that we will continue building soon. I communicated with them every crazy dream I had in my head and they turned it into realities.
What was the team composition?
They have two people on their team and I have only me. The two of them compliment each other skill sets perfectly for what they do.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
UpRoute exceeded my expectations. The value of their work with me thus far is invaluable as these are the nuts and bolts to really get going.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
UpRoute was incredibly communicative, even with my night owl texts and responses. They always shared their insight and opinions, which I value, but always let the final decision up to me. They always were supportive with my decisions and never pressured me to continue in a certain direction.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Although they are great at what they do, what sets them apart most is their passion. They truly want the companies they work with to succeed and that makes all the difference. They go farther than the extra mile.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is always room for improvement. They work incredibly efficient as the two of them but they can better their offerings by growing their team to include other specialties.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the president of a web design and digital marketing agency, Clarity Squared.
For what projects/services did your company hire UpRoute Digital?
We shifted our internal focus over the last few years and needed to rethink our brand strategy and design a new website to position us for the future.
What were your goals for this project?
Most noticeably, our goal was to come out of this project with the designs needed to build our new website. In order to do this correctly we knew we would also do a deeper dive into our brand to challenge our positioning and then help us define how we would position ourselves going forward.
How did you select this vendor?
We wanted to work with a design and strategy company who we could partner with not only for this project but also on future work. They needed to be willing to challenge us throughout this project and also to deliver a fresh and clean website design.
Describe the project in detail.
We began with a review of our current brand through a brand audit and some brainstorming sessions about who we are and what our values are. From there, we worked through customer profiles and putting together a new brand strategy. With this updated strategy in place, we moved to the design phase which included initial design research, updates to the logo and brand guide, and ultimately the design of the website. Lastly, some additional collateral pieces were designed to further extend the brand.
What was the team composition?
We worked directly with Davis and Alanna throughout the entire project. They were the core team who worked with us from strategy through the design.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are extremely satisfied with the results of this project. We have already implemented some of the new designs and feel that it is a perfect fit with what we were looking for. The website is currently in development and the designs from this project have fit our needs well.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had a great collaboration, from in-person meetings, phone conversations, and online chats, we felt that we were cared for and consistently in communication throughout this project.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were very caring about us and the project as a whole. Took the time to dive in deep where needed.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not really, we were very happy with the project.
Though the collection has yet to launch, the client is thrilled with the UpRoute's final deliverables on both branding and website fronts. Along the way, the team was highly communicative, supportive, and extremely passionate.
