Build your future, don't outsource it!
Being many years in the IT outsourcing industry, the founders of United Software quit executive positions at large agencies to build a completely new for the Eastern European market "cost-plus" model with a buy-out option (BOT).
United Software Builds, Operates, and Transfers engineering teams with entire office operations to the US, EU, UK, Gulf region startups, product companies, and enterprises.
In the traditional outsourcing model, your vendor has completely different goals with your business; regardless of your needs and success, the vendor is interested in continuous development for as long as possible, as profit is made on hourly rates. Senior experts are often replaced with less mature developers, for keeping margins.
United Software aligns your interest with your own team, hires primarily senior experts out of the top 5% of the local talent pool, and takes care of everything needed for smooth collaboration, starting with recruitment and office space and ending with HR, tax pay, legal support, healthy snacks and corporate parties.

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
Balloon is a virtual events company, focusing on enabling event organizers to create engaging experiences that they can monetize effectively, and build a successful business. I am the Co-Founder of Balloon, taking care of all things technology and product, among other duties of course.
For what projects/services did your company hire United Software?
We have been working with some talented and hard-working web developers, who help us build our events platform and the systems around it.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to move fast and be very efficient with building a very complex product in a very short period of time, and with limited resources. While doing that, we paid a lot of attention to scale and we were very attentive to detail with regards to the user experience.
How did you select United Software?
Through a referral, from a person that I really trust for his assessment of technical resources.
Describe the project in detail.
I was looking for developers with a specific skill set and attitude towards work, and once we finalized who we're going to work with, I spent a lot of time, making sure the developers have the full context of what we are trying to build. It is a very complex project, and I have been very happy with how well the developers have executed it.
What was the team composition?
I am leading the team directly, also working hands-on as an engineer myself. The team is mostly focusing on the front-end but also doing some work on the back end as well.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Customers love our events app, for its agility, clean design, and intuitive UI. The little details that the developers have introduced have made a big difference in how the app is perceived by customers.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very efficient. As I mentioned I lead the team directly, and I make sure everyone is very clear on what we are trying to achieve, while at the same time welcoming new ideas.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The work ethics of the developers - they are really nice people to work with - and the deep knowledge of their craft.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't think of anything specific now, or anything that has introduced any hurdles so far.

What is the team composition?
We worked with two engineers on their side.
How did you come to work with United Software Solutions?
They were referred to us by a close colleague who’d worked with them previously.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our collaboration began in June 2019 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
United Software Solutions is a positive addition to our team. They bring a great deal of technical expertise and experience, which has boosted the knowledge of our own team. Their collaboration has helped us improve internally not just technically, but in terms of communication, attitude, and project management skills as well.
How did United Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Staff Augmentation for Software Development Company
“Their team understood the capabilities and skillset that we required.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CPO and VP of R&D of a software development startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with United Software Solutions?
Our software is composed of several layers. We wanted to make a big change to our frontend, so we needed an Angular developer that we could trust. It was also important that their services could be provided professionally and at a good price.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The frontend of our site acts as a mirror of our company. We requested a professional frontend developer from their team. They assigned an HR professional to help us through the interview process. They analyzed our business needs and the skills that would help us meet our goals. From there, they assisted us with scanning resumes and interviewing potential candidates.
The interview process was extensive. The individual we hired seemed to be able to work effectively with our team and had the experience we wanted. Given that they’d be working remotely, these aspects were particularly important.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Victor (CEO & Co-Founder), an HR contact, and the engineer we ultimately hired.
How did you come to work with United Software Solutions?
I worked with Victor at his previous company and had a good experience with them. Their engineers were always top-notch, so I thought of them when I saw a need at my company. I was excited to continue my good relationship with him. Things went smoothly from the start.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $20,000 on the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2020, and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our experience with that engineer was very successful. She was already solving bugs for us on her second day with us. Knowledge transfers were smooth, and she was up to speed quickly. We’re constantly seeing more growth and capabilities from her.
At this point, she’s part of our team, showing up to all of our standups and team meetings. She’s consistently able to deliver on what she’s in charge of. This engineer is about 20%–30% more efficient than our previous resource.
How did United Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m always aware of how our engineer is doing. We work in an agile development environment, so she’s a part of all of our sprint meetings and standups. Our team uses Jira for collaboration, which helps us organize and track her work as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The hiring process is very smooth. Their team understood the capabilities and skillset that we required. The quality of the engineering is excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything very apparent. As they scale, I’m sure their offerings will increase even further.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Work with them as if they were an extension of your team.

Data Analytics for Mobile Network Company
"Communication is excellent, with both the United Software team and the resources we hired."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior vice president for business performance of Virgin Mobile in the Middle East and Africa.
What challenge were you trying to address with United Software Solutions?
We needed to find resources on data analytics for some projects we were working on in AWS.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us find two resources that specialized in data science and engineering. Their team provided recruitment services to us. They identified relevant candidates and facilitated interviews. Once we selected the two candidates we wanted to hire, they provided them with an office space and helped manage the logistics of their work.
What is the team composition?
I mainly worked with the two co-founders, the head of HR, and two members of the recruitment team.
How did you come to work with United Software Solutions?
I met one of the co-founders in Dubai. We stayed in contact, and when I needed help with this project, I engaged them.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested just over $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2019. The work will be ongoing until August 2020, but we'll have the option to extend the engagement.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project is going well, and we had a great experience with United Software Solutions. We are considered extending our engagement with them because of the positive impact they’ve had thus far. We’re able to get high-quality resources for an affordable price.
We don’t have any specific metrics on the impact of the data project itself yet since it just began.
How did United Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication is excellent, with both the United Software team, and the resources we hired. They work independently and have been proactive throughout the project. They follow up with requests and push the project forward.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their approach and company culture are impressive, as is their communication. It’s clear they want to do a good job.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ideally, get to know the team first. If you can meet them in person, that’s even better. It’s also helpful to speak with the candidates they find yourself so you can ensure they’re on the right track.
The client was impressed with the quality of the resources provided. Feedback from customers and internal stakeholders has been positive. Future customers of United Software can expect a trustworthy and professional team.
