DataCrédito Experian is a credit information center in Colombia. I’m a business intelligence and sales operations manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tuatara Colombia?
We were undergoing a digital transformation with the aim of increasing our ranking and leads for three core websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tuatara Colombia is providing SEO, SEM, and social media marketing services. We’re working closely with them on keyword and market research, including customer insights and buyer personas. Additionally, all the content and graphic pieces on our websites are done by them. We’re managing the Latin countries right now (Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina), and we plan to go global.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with around six people from Tuatara.
How did you come to work with Tuatara Colombia?
They have a very clear point of view, and they’re close to customers’ needs; that’s what we need right now. We worked with another agency in the past, but they couldn’t deliver the digital assets we needed. We’re 100% sure that if we need something, we can call Juan (Co-Founder & Creative Director) and Fabrizio (CEO), and it’ll be done in a couple of minutes. That’s what we need right now.
How much have you invested with them?
We have a three-year contract with them for $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Tuatara in May 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We track some KPIs on our digital assets. We’ve reduced the time taken for translating inputs into content from 2–3 weeks to a couple of days. Our CPA has also gone down. I appreciate the quality of Tuatara’s team. It’s great working with them.
How did Tuatara Colombia perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re quick, and they deliver good quality. As customers, that’s all we care about. They use Jira for sprint deployment and tracking. Given the COVID pandemic, most of our communication is through video calls and WhatsApp groups.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re satisfied with job they do to the treatment we get, overall.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could go global if they got a bigger team. Their performance and quality of work are good, but they need more people in order to do things faster.

I am the CEO at Pacific Colombia, a seafood production and distribution company.
What challenges were you trying to address with Tuatara Colombia?
We wanted to update and improve our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our main goal was to be able to sell products via the website. With this in mind, we also started a digital marketing campaign with their help. I honestly don’t know but the technologies they chose worked perfectly.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with the CEO and a project manager, but I honestly don’t know how many other people were involved.
How did you come to work with Tuatara Colombia?
We were referred to them by a colleague who had worked with them before so I contacted them for a meeting. We talked about our ideas and decided to start with this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our collaboration lasted about 3 years.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had monthly meetings discussing metrics. I don’t remember the exact numbers but we did start generating sales so we passed from having just a landing page to a sales site. This was the main goal we achieved for me. We also duplicated our visits numbers.
How did Tuatara Colombia perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a WhatsApp group to communicate. They met all deadlines timely so they were great in terms of deliveries and professionalism.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their skills stood out, as did their ability to adapt their knowledge to the local market. They really got involved in our business, taking the time to get to know the company. This provided them with great expertise about our product.

What challenges were you trying to address with Tuatara Colombia?
We were looking for a company that could prepare us to find clients via digital channels.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They started by updating and improving our online presence, renewing our brand and rebuilding our website. After that, they started with a digital marketing strategy to position our brand. They used WordPress for the website and Facebook and Google’s marketing tools for the campaign.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with about six people.
How did you come to work with Tuatara Colombia?
We had a long selection process and interviewed many agencies, a lot of which we found of had heard references from. At the time, we didn’t know about Tuatara but we watched their CEO give a talk online and we liked what we heard. When we contacted them, we really liked their approach and thought their proposal was a great fit for what we needed. They also proposed a clear roadmap.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent between $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them last year, probably around September-October, and are continuing our collaboration. We’ve concluded the most important stages of the project and are currently working on the follow-up.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The impact was great and we are very happy with the results we are getting. We were not sure if digital marketing was a good idea for a business as particular as ours since we’re traditionally focused on a B2B model but we ended up having good results. We are very happy and willing to keep this strategy as part of our business model.
How did Tuatara Colombia perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very well organized and utilize digital project management tools well. Their team has a great task division, and the CEO is always present throughout all the projects leading and providing support.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their work on content marketing was great. They have very well-structured processes and generate great content.

The great achievement was the satisfaction with the new brand image, there was an excellent reception both by the internal public of the companies and by our clients. The redesign of the websites also gave a new look to the brand that will surely allow us to work on clients acquisition.

It was a very good job, we were fortunate to face challenges together and learn as we go to get the best job and align teams.

What I liked the most was the level of service and response, they were there with the best attitude to support the client, facilitating our day by day and delivering the best possible work.

I am a Project Manager at a Transportation Company. We provide 11 million passenger trips everyday thanks to efficient, easy to use and environmentally-friendly transportation services that connect people and communities.
For what projects/services did your company hire Tuatara Colombia?
We needed to create a digital strategy and branding for a completely digital project. It was about the first innovation challenge resulting form the first autonomous shared shuttle operation in LatAm. Specifically we needed to create a project name, logo and all the marketing pieces for social media.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to identify the added value of our project and reflect it on the digital strategy. The design also had to reflect that this was a continental initiative but with local value and attract as many participants as possible. In addition to this, create pieces for promoting a series of webinars. We knew this project would come out as an innovative initiative

Tuatara has been our creative partner for more than 4 years. Based on this excellent experience, we contacted them almost directly in order to cdevelop this projects. I was directly involved in the selection process
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The overall scope of this initiative included the creative strategy, digital marketing for social media and mailing, branding and logo design. My role was to supervise the develop of the campaign.
What was the team composition?
I'm not sure how many teams members from Tuatara were involved but I would say at least 5 people including a couple of designers, web designer and supervisor of the project. From our side it was me and my boss (Head of Strategy)
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our campaign had a continental impact with more than 6 webinars with an avergae of 150 attendants per session. Regarding to the digital campaign, we developed more than 100 pieces that allowed us to get more than 50 applications to our contest
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The assigned project manager was very easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had digital meetings every two weeks where we could talk about the general progress. As they worked with Google Drive and all the material was online, I could easily check the development of the project
What did you find most impressive about this company?
It's always quite impressive to see how easily Tuatara adapts to our needs and even goes one step ahead. This was a very difficult project as we had no referencees of similar initiatives but they were very flexible and comprehensive with our feedback. We will continue to work with them as they are very efficient, creative and very willing to listen to their customers

Personally I think we could have been more communicative, our own behaviour created some delays but Tuatara managed that very professionally

Via several sprints and conceptualization of the prototype we managed having a first version of our product. This helped us to set the product straight and come up with more ideas how to improve the service. Now we are working in sprints for developing the first online version of Eventfeed.

The project is executed in classical SCRUM process and the roles of each team member is defined. From our side we are 2 persons involved in this process.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project is essential to start running our business. So it has a lot of impact for our company. Without the frontend and all neccessary developments, our business is not able to start.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
This is arranged by having a weekly call via skype to provide each other weith updates and progress. We also use a project management tool to keep woarking loads tracked and updated. We see this a very effective.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We can have direct contact to the developers, which is rather important to us. We can communicate openly with Tuatara Boutique and they're open to our suggestions. They go with the intention, that everything is possible and not denying any ideas we have.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Like always, there are some starting problems, when you start working with a new company. There were some small difficulties but we figfured them out very quick.
