The TRIARE team built an easy-to-use air cargo monitoring app that features information about shipping agents, aircraft containers, and airport locations. It allows managers to filter data by different criteria, edit it, and add comments to each entity. Custom logistics app development
The logistics company Cargo Trak came to us with a mobile app idea. The major functionality they required was accurate GPS tracking of temperature-sensitive freight. We started our cooperation from the discovery stage to learn about particular client needs. In the process, we learned that damaged cargo was the company’s biggest pain point. Given that they deal with perishable goods, we had to design an app that would allow quickly identifying a possible problem and acting on it on time.

Booking System
We made separate interfaces for the receptionist and a teacher. The teacher could enter this system and specify free time slots for students. In the following iteration, we made a mobile application where the student can now log in and select an available slot.
TRIARE team took an initiative and introduced additional perks to the platform’s users. For example, we established the logic for calculating salary payments and added integration with the payment system. Students could also start paying via this system without the help of the receptionist. Additionally, we developed a solution for the staff salary payouts in just three clicks.

UX design for a complex CRM system
Businesses tend to prioritize functionality over usability while developing a CRM to make sure it can provide some business value and get launched asap. However, the system sometimes might get so complex it’s hard to navigate and use it.
Info Reach is a company that provides a B2B solution for Financial Institutions that allows them to send emails, SMS, direct mails to their clients. They had a developed solution already and turned to us to improve the UI/UX of the application.
We've been working with one of the stakeholders on a different project with a similar background before, so he gave his recommendation since we proved to have enough experience with complex CRM systems specified in campaign sending.
Altering the UX/UI requires not just good specialists in this field but also deep research into the purpose and business logic of the project. This is key to improving/changing user flows in the most simple and efficient way, and we were ready to roll our sleeves up.

Using WordPress as the foundation and JavaScript for selected elements, we constructed the beautiful and yet very simple company website. Potential customers can easily navigate the services offered, insights that highlight expertise, and available careers.

Android Coding for Mapping & Navigation Company
''They’re always honest and open.''
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of BetterMaps, a mapping and navigation company.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC?
We needed help with writing our Android app code.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TRIARE, LLC does Android code writing for us. They built up the usability documentation, which was something we needed to assess our success and failures in the app space, which included how the user interacted with the UI. After that, they used our existing iOS app as a template to create the Android platform from scratch.
What is the team composition?
I’ve been working with Boris (CEO), Arnold (IT Project Manager), and Svitlana (CMO).
How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?
They were referred to us by another partner who used their services for another project.
How much money have you invested in this partnership?
We’ve spent $15,000–$20,000 with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of their work is great, and we haven’t had any negative feedback on the app. Also, crashes are low; we have 1–2 out of tens of thousands of uses. Overall, they’re always honest and open.
How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They hit deadlines — we haven’t had any problems with that. They’re also excellent and above my expectations in keeping us updated and solving our questions and issues — I’ve never waited more than 24 hours for a reply from them. Regarding communication, we use Skype due to my request, and they’re never late.
What did you find most impressive about them?
TRIARE, LLC are great at opening honest dialogs; if they can’t do something, they let me know, and if they can, their team tells me within how many days and how much money. In addition to that, they adapt to my budget to deliver what I need.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — I don’t even know how they’re managing to deliver within our expectations despite the Russian Invasion of Ukraine they’re living in now.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a startup company that has developed a technology to help basketball players improve their shooting and dribbling.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC?
We had a different organization making the mobile application for our product. They consolidated, so we had to find a new organization.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TRIARE took over the development of our mobile application for iOS and Android. They’ve worked on enhancements, bug fixes, and so on for the two systems. We initially gave them the specifications of the work. Since we had an existing application, they had a lot of graphics and information.
What is the team composition?
We interface with the company owner, a program manager, a lead developer for iOS, and a lead developer for Android. Additionally, there are probably 1–2 other people on the project.
How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?
They were referred.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in August 2021, and we’re currently engaged with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We evaluate their work and test it — if it looks good, we release it to customers. We’ve gotten positive feedback from users, even if different groups developed it. They’re still working on newer versions, but the application is already available in the app stores.
How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s been pretty good. We use Trello to give them feedback and Slack, emails, and phone calls to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve been impressed with their developers. They’re bright and thoughtful about what they do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’d be better to have more frequent communication.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try to initiate communication more frequently than what they’d do independently. I’m pretty busy, so I have to rely on them to start conversations.

UI/UX Revamp for Fintech Company

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of Marketing at a company that works with financial institutions to implement operational and marketing software
For what projects/services did your company hire TRIARE, LLC?
We had a tool that had been built prior to me starting at the company. The tool took over 5 years to develope and the UI.UX reflected that of a 2010 piece of software. We needed Triare to help us completely revamp the UI.UX for this product and to then help us with the rest of our product redesigns.
How did you select this vendor?
I have worked with Triare at a past company and loved the work they did so I brought them on as a vendor when i started at my current company
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The team conducted research on the product itself and set up interviews with existing users bother internally and externally to determine the best way to structure the new workflows and processes. After the research was documented and reviewed by me, we had weekly calls to review the proposed changes that had been made. At that time, they would take my feedback and implement it to finalize a particular section. Timelines were reviewed at the end of each call so I always knew where we were at in the process. Upon completion, all assets and documentation were delivered promptly.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
My team worked with the UI.UX designer and the project manager. The CEO would also join the call occasionally to ensure that things were moving smoothly.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The UI/UX that was designed is leaps and bounds better than what we had before. It has already helped
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager was easy to communicate and get ahold of. Anything that was brought up during a meeting was addressed and solved by the next meeting.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed with their consultative approach. Other development firms I have worked with will simple do what you explain. Triare takes the time to think like a user and bring up certain faults or discrepancies that may arise and present these findings to us so that we are educated and able to make a decision based off of having all of the information.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No suggestions for improvement at this time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They have designed and developed our application on both iOS and Android in their respective native language (Swift and Kotlin). The project has been running through four phases.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Their project manager, Alexander, was coordinating everything between us and Triare. We met and discussed with their designer and several of their developers. The PM has been extremely professional and service oriented throughout the whole project.

Both applications launched successfully around the specified launch date. The few errors that we experienced was corrected as soon as they were identified. All in all TRIARE delivered on time and with a great result.

We met on Skype. Alexander led the whole project. It has been professionally organized. The timeliness of TRIARE, LLC has been exceptional.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their service-oriented mindset. If we asked for a small change they implemented it without any complaints. They even came up with suggestions outside the scope that they thought we might like, which we truly did. Great people and a great company.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
To be honest, not really. I would hire them again and I most certainly will in the future.

Mobile App Development for Event Planning Company

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
President of Toronto-based event planning service that helps Users find and connect with the local vendors.
For what projects/services did your company hire TRIARE, LLC, and what were your goals?
We had an existing website but required a cross platform mobile app to enhance the User experience. We asked Triare to integrate with our existing logic and create an app that still felt true to our existing website.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had contacted multiple companies for bids, but we really liked the long term approach proposed by Boris (Triare's CEO). Boris demonstrated a genuine keenness to take on our project and had demonstrated an understanding of our business goals.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The team assessed the scope of work first, delving into great detail. From there, Triare proposed several options. From there, milestones were created and agreed upon, allowing for collaboration at each step. Key deliverables: flexible vendor search, secure chat, ratings and reviews, photo and video gallery, interactive map, push notifications, and personalized recommendations.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Our primary point of contact was a project manager, who ultimately became my primary point of contact. Alex, the PM was fantastic - both knowledgeable and given enough autonomy such that not every discussion requires further discussion with other team members, greatly expediting the process. There were then 3 developers (1 ios team lead, 3 ios developers, 1 android team lead, 2 android developers, 1 qa)
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Not at this juncture - too early to say
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We thought that their proposed milestones were ambitious. I remember being pleasantly surprised after the first demo. Perhaps based on previous experience, my expectations were too low, but the team really did deliver on a consistent basis.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Stated above, they delivered on time on every deliverable they proposed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
As with any large project, we bumped into a few differences of opinion (which I view as inevitable). All in all, any bumps were handled gracefully and constructively. In short, "no".

Website Dev & Design for Kitchen Appliance Manufacturer
"Overall, we’ve had a great experience."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the e-commerce specialist for a global kitchen appliance manufacturer. I’m in charge of coordinating projects, website content, and integration with our warehouse system.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC?
We acquired an old website from an extinct brand. The original platform was built in Magento 1, so it was really outdated. We wanted the site to feature several languages, including German and English, and be user-friendly, so we decided to bring in a partner to update it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TRIARE, LLC built our new site from scratch, merging our e-commerce site and content site. After the discovery phase, they used WordPress and WooCommerce to develop the platform because they both offer a lot of flexibility in making changes and customizations.
The site has different plug-ins, including MailChimp, PayPal, Stripe, Facebook, and Google Analytics. TRIARE, LLC also implemented SEO elements.
They also modified content and migrated it to the new WordPress platform, and streamlined the UI/UX. We kept the old logo and style guide, but TRIARE, LLC made changes to its fonts and layout.
We’re still uploading content, and TRIARE, LLC will help us make it go live after that.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with 5–6 people from their team, including a principal, project manager, and developers.
How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?
My manager knew some Ukrainian agencies that could do good work for a reasonable price and recommended them. We screened 3–4 agencies, and TRIARE, LLC offered the best solution for the best price, and they spoke very good English. They also had very good Clutch reviews. They did very good work ultimately.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $20,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with TRIARE, LLC in January 2021 and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
TRIARE, LLC has delivered based on our requirements so far. There were some bugs in the first delivery, but they fixed them quickly. They listened to our requirements and updated the design from our current website, making it more stylish and user-friendly.
Overall, we’ve had a great experience. We plan to work with TRIARE, LLC again to build our websites for the US and South America as well.
How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They handle project management and communication very well. I originally talked to their principal about our contract and requirements, but now I talk to their project manager regarding daily tasks. From there, they communicate with the developers.
Generally, the project manager handles inquiries promptly and always replies on time. We contacted them by email initially, and we moved to Zoom and Slack to discuss bugs and additional requirements.
Although we are in different time zones, our working hours overlap. They’ve strived to overcome this issue and communicate with us more effectively. They made any change I asked for in one day, if I reported it in the morning on their time.
They did a good job managing timelines and delivered the new website on schedule. They followed all the sprints, and the project progressed according to the timeline they gave us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They stand out from other Ukrainian agencies because they have reasonable pricing, they finished the project on time, and they speak English.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Phone networks in Ukraine aren’t that good compared to Hong Kong, which has hindered our communication a bit. They could move to a better carrier.
They could also make more suggestions for the UI/UX, based on marketing trends.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Although their English is strong, it’s easier to talk to them through written communications such as Slack.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and founder of Work and Sun, an MVP development firm. We provide fast, rapid prototyping and MVPs. We do design, web design, applications development, call centers, and business development. People come with their ideas, and we help them to ignite their vision and create realities for their product or services in a very quick time.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC?
We needed help with development projects for our clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve worked together on multiple projects. They’re our additional extra set of resources if needed or if we have some bigger projects to handle. On 2–3 occasions, they’ve helped us with taking our prepared design and developing a high-quality website in a short amount of time for different clients.
Their team uses PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and WordPress for creating the websites. They handle the animations on the website, implementing them and making them responsive. Their team also created the templates for the client based on our designs.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with the CEO to discuss several projects, get offers, and think on some ideas. We worked with one developer for websites, one developer for some online applications, one developer for mobile applications, and a project manager for the mobile applications.
How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?
I’m a very heavy LinkedIn user, and I found them on LinkedIn. I liked the way they presented themselves. It was good to connect with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2020, and it’s an ongoing partnership. It’s just a little frozen right now on my side because I don’t have the budget. I’m behind on small payments for finalizing a project. TRIARE, LLC is being very kind and understanding of the situation. As soon as I have the budget, I’ll immediately continue working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
TRIARE, LLC is very professional. It’s not as if they just use a bunch of plugins and put them together. That’s what really separates their creative work and output from others. Their team has good skills. I’m super excited about working with them. They have a super fair price. For some projects, they’re a little too expensive but it’s not their fault. They’re very competitively priced.
There’s nothing I could remotely ask to improve. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue to work with them. If all providers would work like them, that’d be paradise. I’d give them a six out of five stars. Everything is excellent, and TRIARE, LLC is a very trusted service provider.
How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve been very happy working with them because we have direct access to their developer. They work hand-in-hand with our designers and project managers in our Slack channel. Even when I give them rare specifics, they understood the expected outcome. Their team provides it in time. Even with very few instructions, they’re able to create magic.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I don’t recommend that anyone works with them because I want them for me.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a small-budgeting software app.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE?
We were trying to find an engineering partner that could build out certain pieces of our software.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TRIARE has helped us build a simple budgeting web app for consumers. They’ve iterated on the UI designs and supported us on the backend architecture using JavaScript, Python, and PostgreSQL.
With the app, users can enter and categorize transactions, organizing them under the account where the transaction has occurred. Users can also set budgets for each category associated with a transaction. This allows them to determine if they’re going over budget in a particular area and helps them keep on track financially.
What is the team composition?
They’ve provided a full development team, including a UI designer, a frontend engineer, a backend engineer, and a project manager. Boris (CEO) makes sure that everything is going as planned at a high level, whereas Alexander (Project Manager) handles the day-to-day.
How did you come to work with TRIARE?
We went through and talked to a fair amount of Clutch-listed software development firms before landing on TRIARE.
How much have you invested with them?
This particular project has cost about $60,000. They’ve been very flexible as we’ve scaled down and up between projects.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking to them in August 2020 and signed a contract in September. They’re still working with us, and we plan to expand with them into some other businesses.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’d already vetted them for communication and understanding during the recruiting process, so I knew that the quality and speed would follow. I’d rate them a 9 out of 10 for their performances there.
Once they understood what we were trying to accomplish, they started to offer a lot of feedback around particular features and approaches. They’ve advised me on how to implement the system, too. It’s been super helpful for me to have a team that’s worked on several other projects before. We’re able to tap into their past experiences, and they help us address our blind spots.
How did TRIARE perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is one of their strong points, especially if you need them to work independently. It’s been really tight and well-structured, and I’ve actually learned some great tactics from them. We work in Google Docs, MockFlow, and Figma as well as Slack and Zoom for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their team structure is top-notch. I know it’s been a bit of a challenge for them to shift around their resources to make the project work on my side, but they’ve done a really great job putting together a team. As a result, the deliverable quality and speed have been great.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The biggest friction point has been the time differences. We’re on the West Coast while they’re in Ukraine. I’m don’t know how they could improve upon that, but it’s something we have to deal with.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They work well if you already have prepared specifications. That way, they’re able to help you improve on your specs to make the project move much quicker.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the co-founder and CEO of Mentor.me. Our platform connects students to verified mentors.
What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC ?
We needed help with mobile app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’re using Flutter to develop a hybrid application that works on Android and iOS. The backend enables us to control the application, view registered users, and track how many connections occur within a certain period of time.
First, TRIARE, LLC is built a registration feature with Google and Facebook integrations that allow both students and mentors to sign up with their organization or university.
Then they created a function that allows users to create profiles, access a homepage, and select categories they’re interested in such as history or mathematics.
From there, they worked with us to develop an algorithm that uses text and images to connect the right mentor with a student depending on their needs. Finally, they created an API integration that allows mentors and students to chat through a video call. After that, students can leave feedback about their connections.
Now we’re working with TRIARE, LLC on testing.
What is the team composition?
I discussed the scope of work with the founder and CTO. Then they brought on a project manager involved, an iOS developer and Android developer, a lead developer, a QA tester, and a backend developer.
How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?
We presented the project at a Hackathon, and they proactively reached out to us and gave us ideas, regardless of whether or not we decided to work with them.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent approximately €20,000 (approximately $24,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in July 2020 and our partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
At this point, their QA tester has done some testing and has ensured that everything works. So far, they’ve delivered a quality product, but we’re still testing the speed at which the app makes connections, if it crashes, and whether or not people will use it.
How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
I’ve been really happy with how we’ve been able to communicate. We can contact them through Slack and email and the project manager sends me regular updates. We also use a Trello board to keep our teams aligned.
The developers are also very proactive and open to ideas. They’ve made it clear when something isn’t feasible and have provided alternatives.
Additionally, they were effective, efficient, and cost-effective. We get a lot of value from our partnership with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team is very energetic and business-minded. Their founder understands why we need this website and how it fits in with our business needs. To help us, they’ve offered their own ideas and features that could help us meet our goals.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I am very happy with their work and don’t have any recommendations for improvement. I think they have their stuff together.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
New clients should jump on a call with the CEO and CTO just to talk because they provide valuable feedback and honest opinions.
The client is delighted with TRIARE, LLC's code writing work, which has received great feedback and had minimal crashes. They commit to deadlines and update the team to ensure a solid project management experience. The client also praises their honesty and transparency throughout the engagement.
