They were looking for graphics designers who can design for their New Year Festive Project 2019-2020 and for their Gala event. The challenge was that we had to finish all the work in a very short duration while they were also seeking a fairy tale theme which should be creative, fresh and innovative. It was also important to consider the strengths of this brand during the design process.
Solution
The use of clean modest colors and font combinations brought forward the tasteful sense of fairy tale theme for Dusit Thani Maldives. We also finished the New Year Festive Project 2019-2020 on time while meeting their expectations in all areas.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Resource Management Executive of the company's regional office. I handle the administrative, human resources, budget allocation, finances, logistics and procurement in the regional office in collaboration with the head office in Geneva.
For what projects/services did your company hire Treewares, and what were your goals?
Treewares was hired as part of a forum we were hosting on a project called "Migrant Health and Trafficking Awareness" for logo and brand design of various banners and posters. IOM has strict guidelines put in place strict guidelines for design and also translation work.
How did you select this vendor?
Some factors we were looking at while selecting our vendor included the process that was used to get in touch with the vendor, other reviews the company had received, and other factors that would be considered key when choosing any professional service.
Our decision was strengthened through referrals from others who had work done. Moreoever, they also had done previous work for IOM Mission in Sri Lanka who also had good things to say about them.

Treewares delivered a full branding project for us that included logo and brand mark design and cultivation. They collaborated with our team to develop a visual identity that would be effective for establishing an appropriate level of respectability as IOM has very strict brand guidelines.
This identity was cultivated by implementing its brand image into all digital and print media including as letterhead, business cards, brochures, posters etc.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with their Accounts Manager. He was the focal point for us and he was always happy to help. When we had meetings through MS teams, their were 3 others that were in the call every time but silent for the most part except for giving briefings.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The team has delivered all the project requirements on or before time, and they managed to maintain quality at high levels. Stakeholders and partners were always satisfied with our quality assurances. I am proud of the team for the work did.
They managed to study the IOM guidelines (which is a lot of work in itself) and stick to it and give a great output which was not only to our liking but also praised by our head office.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The Account Manager report to our company weekly (sometimes twice a week) regarding the project progress and to clarify information. They also loop us into emails within their company and regarding project which is nice as they we have the option of interjecting our opinions and also stop them from going astray from the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The first thing I found most impressive about this company was their working style. Everyone was very open, and the overall mood was very pleasant, friendly, and inviting. Secondly, I really liked how transparent they were with us during the branding process - they shared everything from logo options to typefaces and even emails when needed, with us as we went along.
They paid attention to detail that many companies might have been too busy or just not interested enough in doing themselves.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The branding services provided by Treewares were perfect. They listened to what we wanted, gave us great input when it was required, and the end result is just the look that our organisation needed. I highly recommend them for any company especially any start-up- looking to catch the eyes of the public or any businesses feeling the need to change their image.
The Treewares team successfully delivered all the requirements of the project on time while maintaining a high quality of work for all of them. All of the company's stakeholders and partner were quite satisfied with the quality that they were given for the project.
