Bold Design. Creative Content. Strategy.
Toronto Creatives is an interdisciplinary creative team with a diverse set of experiences, interests and points of view.
An independent design and digital focused firm since 2005 Toronto Creatives expanded to include video production and end-to-end branding services anfter a considerable growth spurt in 2015. We also produce experiencial marketing when appropriate and depending on the scale, will engage a partnered event produer.
We take on a limited number of large projects throughout the year and reserve time for a number of clients on retainers. We're always open to growing our business and as we take on additional retainers, we secure additonal talent on our team.
We like to take a branding project from concept to compleation with a close creative eye on every touch point; however we also work on smaller projects thougout the year and specialize in small-med business growth.

Tea Squared Brand Management, Commercial Production and Digital Advertising
Tea Squared is the original leader in the tea revolution. Our team provides ongoing print and digital design support to this growing household name. Also, hands down our favourite matcha!
In 2016 TorontoCreatives.com re-designed, built and launched the Tea Squared e-commerce website; we have since taken Tea Squared on as a regular client and grown the online portion of their business exponentially, and we continue to do so.
The development of promotional tactics is always on-going for Tea Squared. To date we have significantly grown their organic social media following and substantially increased online sales. We play to trends and have even played a hand in hyping-up a couple #coldbrewtea.
It’s an absolute blast working with Tea Squared because there is always so much to talk about! Recipes, facts, history – the world of tea is endless and telling the story of Tea Squared and all the individual stories behind each of their teas and each of their blends is always a chance to learn something new. We love learning new stuff.

Coral Gables Country Club Website Design and Development
The Coral Gabels Country Club is a historical landmark in the city of Coral Gables, Miami. This historical building was restored to it’s current splendor by Toronto’s Liberty Entertainment Group.
Liberty Entertainment Group always has a clear vision in mind and as one of their primary digital supliers we’re always up for a challenge.
In this case the challenge was to feature the venue images, as well as the content in the most responsive way possible. This unbelieveable property needed an elegeant digital experience. We worked closely with Liberty Groups’ creative team to develop this beautiful UI/UX.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Communications Manager at a Toronto-based nonprofit working with people who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. Our organization offers programs and services across 20+ different sites - serving thousands of people every day.
For what projects/services did your company hire Toronto Creatives?
The organization is opening a new women's shelter. It is vital that we create an open dialogue with local residents and community stakeholders in order to build a successful program.
Due to the pandemic, we couldn't host a traditional open house - a valuable component of our community engagement process. We needed a short video that could serve as an initial touchpoint with our organization and provide an overview of the new site.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a 5-minute video that could walk the viewer through the new shelter location. The video would provide a broad overview of the homelessness crisis in our city, highlight the positive impact of the shelter program, and showcase key features of the living space and building itself.
The objective was to create engaging content that could be shared widely and across various platforms.
How did you select Toronto Creatives?
Our organization had worked with Toronto Creatives on video projects previously.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
We had an in-depth conversation around the strategy and overall concept of the video. Toronto Creatives developed a thorough proposal for review and approval. We identified interview subjects and prepared talking points.
We scouted the site together - and discussed which features to highlight. Together, we created a shot list. We filmed on location in one day. We received a rough cut for review. After a round of edits, we were sent a final video.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
Toronto Creatives were highly in-tuned to the kind of story we wanted to tell. As such, feedback was minimal. They contributed valuable insights and direction - and we were able to go back and forth quite effectively to create a product we were pleased with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were working with an extremely tight deadline - and Toronto Creatives were able to produce the deliverables in the timeframe provided. The video was shared widely - not only by our organization - but by other community stakeholders. The response has largely been positive.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The process was efficient; they were engaged and communicative; and they the captured the content we needed to help us tell an impactful story.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Toronto Creatives showed a keen understanding of our brand and a thoughtfulness for the subject matter. They also worked with us on budget and were able to deliver under an extremely tight deadline.
Are there any areas for improvement?
None.
