Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the leader of a medical startup called Global Clinic Rating. We help medical patients navigate affordable medical tourism.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tomatoes Advertising?
We were looking for an affordable way to get leads, particularly potential cash patients. We also wanted to reduce our cost per lead (CPL) as well as our cost per conversion (CPC).
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided Search Engine Marketing (SEM) optimization for our campaigns and offered consultation services. They provide advertising support using Google Ads.
What is the team composition?
I worked closely with the Jakub (CEO, Tomatoes Advertising) as well as two others from the company.
How did you come to work with Tomatoes Advertising?
I had a connection through my previous work, so I knew of them and their quality services beforehand.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from April–September 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The CPC decreased from close to $200 per patient down to $6, and the CPL also went from $30 down to $6. Since starting the SEM efforts, we fulfilled the needs of over 100 patients out of the many we engaged with.
How did Tomatoes Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great at managing the project. They provided us with reports and Excel spreadsheets of our progress, and kept us updated about new approaches and goals. I was very happy with that.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed with how open and frank they were. They were forthcoming and communicative about what to expect, and then they actually achieved these goals. That’s hard to see in this industry, so I appreciated it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing they could improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very clear about your goals, and be communicative about which leads make the most sense to you. Learn which leads are effective in the long run to help you choose better deals. And then just let them do their thing.
