Strategic Terraform Integration
Snyk is one of the fastest-growing, high-standard technological unicorn. They approached us after a failed attempt to work with another vendor. Their project consisted of strategic integration with a business partner.
Once we heard from them, it was clear the timing is critical. We immediately placed an engineer from our R&D team to work on their project.
After delivering the high-profile project successfully, not only did the team receive compliments of our achievement, Snyk was so happy with the team's performance that they decided to make an unusual move and hire the engineer as a full-time in-house engineer. This is an extremely unusual step from the unicorn, only proving the quality of our service is unparalleled.

Realtime AI-based solution
CoreTigo provides high-performance IO-Link Wireless communication solutions for machine builders, system integrators, and industrial equipment manufacturers.
CoreTigo reached out after signing a strategic partnership with a large industrial equipment manufacturer. Their project consisted of complex architecture including frontend, backend, DevOps, data, and Machine Learning modules.
After deep-diving into the company business needs and use case, our team quickly broke down the project into small, deliverable pieces of software, orchestrating the end-to-end solution in a time-effective manner, and quickly headed to delivering the solution to the end customer.
After months of work, the project was successfully shipped, with an overall impact calculated at hundreds of millions of dollars saved annually.

Digital modernization and cloud migration
Cellxpert gives you the power to track, manage, and gain control over your partnerships. Our end to end, transparency-based solution centralizes every aspect of your partner ecosystem, so you can focus on optimization.
When Cellxpert approached us, they were a market leader in their space, with hundreds of live customers in production, managing and serving millions of advertising events daily.
They were interested in modernizing their technological infrastructure, including a full re-write of their legacy large-scale application and moving from on-premise to the cloud. As a company with such high sensitivity for SLA and downtime, we had to carefully plan the migration to be gradual and with as little production interruption as possible.
We decided to migrate their platform from ASP.NET to NodeJS and from on-premise to AWS.
After almost a year of work, their last piece of software was successfully migrated with 0% downtime, improving their latency by 8000% and cutting costs by over 90%.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior software engineer for Coretigo, a hardware development startup that’s mainly focused on creating products that solve communication problems in the industrial space.
What challenge were you trying to address with TLVTech?
Our challenges were with our software development efforts, specifically with our lack of knowledge to produce some of the capabilities we needed for our customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TLVTech provides us with custom software development. They implement additional software capabilities and deploy them for our customers.
They’ve developed a ready-to-use Docker installation infrastructure, as well as a Windows installation infrastructure which we’re continuing to maintain and support.
Moreover, two of their developers are currently helping us build a significant software project, and we mainly use JavaScript, Python, and React as our main development tools.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact is Daniel (Founder & CEO).
How did you come to work with TLVTech?
Daniel was consulting an open forum where my boss was present to ask technical questions.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $130,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The first project they delivered is our main way of deploying software and is currently being widely used by our customer success team.
Additionally, the customers are very happy with the results we’ve been achieving with our current project, as we’re taking the development to the next level.
How did TLVTech perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re mostly covering the project management aspect, so TLVTech can focus more on the development process.
We manage the project through Monday.com, and we typically communicate using Teams, Zoom, and share files through GitHub.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re very impressed with their sense of responsibility, as they’re very committed to getting the best results and the overall success of the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they could improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise being very clear with what you want and what your expectations are. I believe you’ll get your money’s worth with TLVTech because they’re very straightforward and open about what they can and can’t provide.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm an R&D Director in a startup software company that develop products in the IT/Security space.
For what projects/services did your company hire TLVTech, and what were your goals?
Our backend codebase is developed in Java, and it's been 15 years since we updated the Java build tool (Ant). We want to use new technologies and new tools, and we need better visibility of the open source that we are using in our code. To do so, we needed to implement a modern Java build tool like Gradle, and embed it as part of our compilation and build processes.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I went to Facebook to look for any private local contracts that can i can manage and assist during this project - on site.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Gradle as a Java build tool in a multi project environment (over 100 projects). Jenkins server as a build machine. Pulling third parties from Public (or Private) maven repositories, instead from our code base.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2 people. Aviv as a lead project, and Daniel as support for challenges that Aviv might came across.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The project was long and some of the process were written 10 years ago, and we over come many challenges along the way. Once we'll merge the results to the main dev branch - it will be the only java build tool for my entire team.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Working from home + working from office. Source control: BitBucket. Emails + Teams + WhatsApp
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were great people who wholly invested in my project and cared about the outcome.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not that i can think of.

API Integration for Software Company
"TLVTech had tons of passion to get the work right and learn."

Please describe your company and your position there.
The company I work for builds a product for developers that helps them find & fix security issues in their application, from the infrastructure to the actual code. At the time of the project I was a Senior Software Engineer which I was asked to lead the R&D for a very sensitive business partnership, which I've been given a budget to get contractors to help me with. Following this project success, I've been promoted to Engineering Manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire TLVTech, and what were your goals?
For a business partnership with a very strategic partner, which required building an API integration between our product and theirs. The goals were to build a lean but robust first version of this integration out with a very tight schedule, as this partnership between companies was announced on several industry conferences & marketing events.
Another goal I personally had is to enable the rest of my team to continue focusing on other projects, while I "off-load" this project from them with a contractor working with me. Eventually, we were expected to build a beta version on a very tight schedule, which will later on became a solid foundation for the GA release that happens on May 2022.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I reached to TLV-Tech after spending 1 month with another contractor company which didn't go well. I had to cut-off the other contractors one month into the project, while being very tight on schedule, this was a hard decision but in retrospect was the right one. Deciding factors was bringing in someone that can become part of the team very fast, work with me very closely in a tight feedback loop, and be fully committed.
I selected TLV-Tech after interviewing both the founder and two engineers, and getting the right feeling that they are up for the challenge, emphasizing to them that we're already 1 month in-delay and that it's going to be tight.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The scope included:
- Building an API endpoint on top of services. (Node, Typescript, Golang, Postgres)
- Building 2 new UI pages on top of our Application (VueJS).
- Building an analytics & metrics dashboard to track usage on top of our analytics stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Looker)
- Writing lots of unit & integration tests to cover all of the use-cases (Jest)
- Working with me & our product manager to iterate on fixing bugs and UX issues.
- Doing lots of manual integration tests on the partners platform when testing out the new integration.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I hired 1 Junior/Mid-level engineer from TLV tech. However, Daniel the co-founder was always available when I wanted us to catch-up and align.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
- The Beta version was out on time.
- The conference announcements happened as expected.
- The feature was presented by our CPO in the company all-hands.
- The partnership relationship with this partner is growing strong and we're now working together.
- We started seeing adoption of the feature.
- We're getting ready for the GA release in May 2022.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We mainly use:
- Slack
- Jira
- Miro
- Github
- CircleCI
I was in charge of providing work to the contractor, building clarity around the project goals, and creating tickets for them. We worked on weekly sprints and we were on daily communication via the various platforms collaborating on making progress and unblocking stuff. We also had a shared Slack channel with the business partner to communicate with them.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Trust & Professional ethics! With a previous contractor company I worked with, it had to him cut-off due to lack of trust & professionalism. However, with TLV-Tech, from the first day the contractor was the first person to come to our office in the morning, TLVTech had tons of passion to get the work right and learn, he is genuinely a good guy. I could trust him and Daniel the co-founder, that they won't let me down.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Generally speaking, onboarding contractors is hard. It takes time to get them used to the company culture, to the team energy & flow, tech-stack, and processes. One friendly tip for improvement: Potentially having the contractor company ask in advance to learn about these things ahead of time, so they can prepare and help us make the onboarding as seamless as possible.
