Golden Holley James LLP is a boutique law firm specializing in corporate legal matters, including municipal and corporate finance. I'm the managing partner.

For what projects/services did your company hire TK Consulting & Design, LLC?

We hired them to completely overhaul our web presence, upgrade our email system, take photographs for our website, update and design our marketing collateral, and provide support on technology-related issues.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a clean, modern website, professional headshots, and memorable physical marketing collateral. There needed to be brand consistency and a resource that could help us optimize our website and email spend.

Once we selected them, we met with Takia (CEO, TK Consulting & Design) for a photoshoot and selected photos. We then went through various iterations of the website design and decided on a look and feel that was appropriate for our firm.

They provided us with recommendations on how to manage our website and which email providers would be best for us, along with budget information. Once our website was completed, they transitioned our site from our previous provider, and they also helped us move our email service from our old provider to the new one. We still work with them on an ongoing basis to update and maintain the website, as well as to get marketing collateral designed.

Our firm partners, associate, and office manager worked with Takia and continue to interact with her on a regular basis.

Since implementing the new website and marketing collateral, our firm's annual revenue has increased by over 50%. We've also experienced over 75% annual savings on web and email hosting expenses.

We have an excellent workflow between our teams; they're very responsive.

They provide a wide range of services for small businesses—they really are a one-stop-shop for branding and marketing. The fact that they can also assist with technology needs and advise on web hosting, social media, and other critical areas allowed us to focus on our business and leave the project to them. We are a small real estate investment company.

What challenge were you trying to address with TK Consulting & Design, LLC?

Our branding didn’t capture the essence of our company, and our online presence was nonexistent. We wanted to find a partner who could manage all of our marketing needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We contracted TK Consulting & Design, LLC to develop a new brand for our company. Their first task was building our website. They were responsible for designing the frontend and building the backed. We sent them information about our company, and they condensed it into a concise message on our about page.

In addition to compiling this information, they shot all of the photos featured on the site. Now users can contact our staff and make payments through the website.

More specific to branding, they redesigned our logo and came up with a new mission statement. Our new theme can be found on the business cards that they created for us.

They also produced a few promotional videos that complement the content on our site. Since completing the project, their efforts have been spent on securing and maintaining the site.

Our partnership began in March 2019. We are currently under a one-year contract with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our reach has extended to new audiences, which is undoubtedly a result of the work that TK Consulting & Design, LLC has done for us. We see a steady increase in web traffic each month, and business is increasing by exponential rates. In the first month alone, we received a thousand views. We’re also getting a lot of compliments for the website’s stunning, user-friendly design. We’re definitely getting the results that we hoped for.

Their keen attention to detail is one of the reasons why we decided to partner with them. As we expected, their meticulous nature allowed them to map out a scope that worked for us.

This engagement was a lot more complicated than the first project that we worked on, but they handled it in the same detailed manner. They took the consultation stage seriously and listened to our needs, which shows in their work.

We hired TK Consulting & Design, LLC to restructure our website and make it more streamlined, relevant, and interactive.

What were your goals for this project?

To increase traffic to our site, allow prospects to submit their information and make inquiries, and convert prospects into clients.

We were referred through a mutual friend.

What was the team composition?

Takia worked alone

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I would say the biggest impact was made in the amount of traffic the website now brings. We've received a number of inquiries through the site that we never did before.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was a bit slower that I would have liked; however, it was effective. All questions were answered, the work was thorough, and the final result was clean.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed with Takia's willingness to answer our many questions and make requested changes, no matter how many we asked for. Her patience was key.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Again, timeliness. I would say the communication was lacking unless we reached out to her; however, when we did speak we were able to get a lot accomplished.
