I’m the director of operations at World Depot.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tirnav Solutions?
We needed help with web development and EDI (electronic data interchange) implementation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tirnav Solutions built our website from scratch and set up 50 private servers for our company. This structure was meant to enable us to integrate partners, third-party vendors, and retailers into our system and eventually receive any transmission from them. They also mapped the EDI A56 documentation for our three different trading partners. Our trading partners usually have their own documentation, but what they have is not enough to complete the integration process.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with Jayesh (Business Strategist & Growth Hacking).
How did you come to work with Tirnav Solutions?
We were looking for developers on Google, and it was our chief from China who found them. We had tried several other developers, but Tirnav Solutions was the only one willing to adjust their work hours to accommodate our time zone differences.
How much have you invested with them?
What we pay depends on what is accomplished in a month, and so far, we’ve invested around $22,000 for just one project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Tirnav Solutions around May–June 2017. We still have several ongoing projects with them.

From a business standpoint, we’re able to divide the work 50-50 between ourselves and Tirnav Solutions. They’ve been very helpful, especially since they’ve adjusted to our time zone to work with our team. Their flexibility and the way they listen to what we need have been key points in our partnership.
How did Tirnav Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything has been done on time even when deadlines are tight. For one particular project, Tirnav Solutions worked until the very last minute to make sure we could deliver. This is important because some of our trading partners don’t give time allowances or extensions.
We usually communicate through Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What distinguishes Tirnav Solutions from other providers is their flexibility. The quality of their work shows that they really put themselves into the work; they not only try to understand our needs but also do whatever it takes to deliver.

No, there’s nothing for them to improve on. They’re always ready to address any kind of issue or change request, even at really short notice.

Give Tirnav Solutions a try and make sure to explain every aspect of the work to their team. It’s key to have them understand 100% of the project.

I’m the founder of Indexfing, a food technology company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tirnav Solutions?
We needed a company to build our web interfaces and mobile app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tirnav Solutions developed our web interfaces and mobile app. They used Java for both web and mobile, and the web development was full-stack. It’s an e-commerce portal where people can search and checkout.
It’s pretty much an ethnic market, ethnic stores, grocery stores, and restaurants, so we are targeting the niche stores that can sell ethnic food on our platform.
What is the team composition?
There were 3-4 people working on the project.
How did you come to work with Tirnav Solutions?
They applied to my online job post. The founder is smart and highly technical. He was able to offer the solutions we needed and was involved in the day-to-day activities. He knew what he was talking about.

We spent $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2019-June 2020. This project ended due to lockdown, but they still provide consulting as needed

They couldn’t complete the project because of lockdown. They did complete whatever tasks we presented to them. We’re happy with what Tirnav Solutions produced so far.

We use project management software, email, WhatsApp, Skype, and Zoom.

They have good communication and solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Due to COVID-19 lockdown, people were disbursed. The owner couldn’t reach out to his developers. Had he had a good infrastructure, we could have continued the project.

I suggest getting more developers from them. They’re really good technically and are getting more business.

The project was developed in stages with testing and client feedback at every stage, through an agile /iterative approach.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We used JIRA for project management, and had visibility of the works and progress at every stage. We also schedule daily calls via Skype to clarity questions. Although we were in different timezones, they strived to meet client requirements in a timely manner by responding to issues with fixes available at UK timeframe.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are very dedicated and work to meet the challenges via innovative approaches and deliver on the promises. The management of the company took every possible opportunity to manage their workforce to meet the deadline. Where the development over-run the original cost estimate they find a middle way to meet the cost, which is quite different from other vendors we worked with before.
Are there any areas for improvement?
From our brief interaction of the projects we were working on, there are some areas for improvement in Salesforce application development which involves complex scenarios and customisation.

We need an automated data consolidation solution to replace our highly manual (and time intensive) processes. This required that we connect several marketplaces via API into a consolidated, normalized MySQL database so we could build a unified performance and reporting tool to manage our businesses.

Tirnav solutions had experience working with the marketplace APIs we needed to integrate, as well as extensive knowledge of MySQl.

Tirnav helped us provision and structure a cloud based MySQL database and then created the API connectors to ingest and normalize data from a variety of marketplaces and other sources. We also needed to ingest (and normalize) several years worth of historical data into the database.

There were 2 developers working on our project, though the lead developer was our primary contact and project manager.

The quality of the work was very good. We would have like to have more documentation on the structure of the data tables (such as the various sources they were calling from). We are working on building this out now.
