We hired Tino Digital Agency for a concept that disrupts the way people order and customizes food.

Since this concept is rather new, we were on the lookout for an agency that can understand its significance and a high focus on UX while supporting great-looking UI.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create a design for the app that is rich in functionality yet needs to truly easy to understand.

We were not just looking for an agency that will design what we want them to design, but rather tell us how to perceive functional elements and what not to do at all.

We have searched through dribbble.com and after two other unsuccessful cooperations, we did find a perfect fit for us.

Describe the project in detail.

The cooperation started by providing as many details about our mobile app project as possible. We did a couple of online meetings and from there decided on the scope of the project, payment conditions, and timeframe for the delivery. Tino promptly created UX.

After some iterations, we defined a final UX and later started working on the UI. Since we were waiting for a bit too long for other agencies to provide corporate identity Tino Agency took a proactive approach and sketched some elements just for us to see.

After we finalized the CI with other agencies Tino was able to fully finalize the UI for the app and it truly blew our minds. Their taste for detail is amazing and their great approach towards creating an outstanding UI is something worth mentioning.

We were able to quickly finish the UI that needed only minor adjustments (all notes during calls were considered) and now are integrating it in the app.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We did several user flow stories and presented the design to a small group of analysts that were focusing on the UI and UX via Invision. All of them reported great outcomes for both UI and UX.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Easy communication, prompt response from the whole team. Tools used for communication: Slack, Whatsapp, email.

One important info: when the project manager needed an answer and we were non-responsive, they made sure they got the info by trying all possible communication channels - which is a great approach when you need to advance with the project! Other tools used during cooperation: Zeplin, Invision, Google Docs/Sheets, Calendly

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The attention to detail, prompt response, great feeling for UX, amazing designer for the UI. Tino Agency looks at the projects with an out of box thinking. They try to thoroughly understand the concept. They don't just create a design, they create an experience."

There are always areas where you can improve, but I cannot find any particular area that needs improvement.

I’m the founder of a diversity solutions company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tino Digital Agency?

I needed a partner to design and develop a website for my MVP.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Once we agreed to terms with Tino Digital Agency, their team lead a discovery period when they learned about the business as well as the goals and the project vision. When the discovery phase was done, we came up with a schedule for our work. Each phase of the project included a mockup and feedback opportunity. Then, their team made revisions and improvements to the platform. We finished with the delivery of the product. Phase one of the project was completed. There will be several follow up projects over the next 30–40 days because I'm a startup.

I interviewed them as well as a handful of other web design companies. Then, I selected Tino Digital Agency for their expertise and their work, which I was able to see on their website and Dribble.

I’ve spent $6,000 as of right now with the expectation that the cost will be between $10,000–$12,000 through my hard launch date.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in November 2018 and it wrapped up last week. The hard launch will be February 1st, 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have the site up yet, but from a founder’s standpoint, good talent is hard to find. For Tino Digital Agency, I was satisfied with the quality of work. Their team took my ideas and translated them into the website. My business premise is unique. I explained this to Tino Digital Agency: I envision this fictitious room of 50 people of different backgrounds, genders, and ethnicities. I pull up my website and in a split second, I have to convince all of them that this is the site for them so I needed a designer to create a website that appeals to the masses. Tino Digital Agency came through for me with a homepage that's a combination of animation, language, and images. So, I appreciate their hard work and diligence in creating that for me.

How did Tino Digital Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They were responsive. Their team was always available and timely. We communicated mostly via email but we also did a couple of Zoom video conferences where we shared screens to make sure that we were on the same page or their team needed further insight from me. We were also in contact by phone from time to time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The combination of quality work and the price was perfect for me. I’m a startup and on a limited budget, so I wanted to get the most bang for my buck.

No, nothing comes to mind immediately.

I’m the founder and the general manager of S&D business consulting company headquartered in Moscow. Our company has about 10 employees and we serve corporate and private clients in Russia, Italy, Hong Kong, Finland, Great Britain. We develop parametric financial models for start-ups, business development projects, we also work out procedures and business schemes, conduct trainings during implementation and start-up. I ‘m the driver of our new digital product.

We’re developing an application, new-website and back-end design with TINO Agency to provide a special virtual place to attract clients, to discuss with them all the requirements, to provide them all files and to hold all the information regarding client’s startup. This product will also let the investors review those start-ups that are looking for financing.

What were your goals for this project?

To have full prototype of the application, web-site and back-end.

How did you select this vendor?

We reviewed several designers' paltforms and choose several providers at Behance. Negotiated and choose TINO Agency due to their nice portfolio and appropriate for us approach.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a detailed interview where I described the concept and overall business process vision. We also set up the main goals and objectives. Very soon we got the first version of prototype that became the base for changes. The provider caught the idea very well and it was easy to correct and made changes in the UX process. At the UI stage I got 3 different design concepts, chose one and this stage had gone smoothly. During UI we recognized that some UX changes must be done. And the provider did it without any problem. Provider works quite quickly. All the delays are at our side

What was the team composition?

We have one project manager who supports us any time via e-mail, Telegram or phone. And we have one main developer that we contact with in case it’s needed. All communications are well organized by our project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We showed the prototype of the S&D Application, web-site and back-end to our current clients & investors. And they all are very impressed and gave us good feedback. We've got financing and are ready to start IT development.

We also made some investigation among our small clients to clarify if it is attractive for them to have such and application that stores all their digited by S&D ideas (i.e. financial models). And 95% of them supported the idea and agreed with it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we connected with is very easy to communicate with and provides us timely updates. We connect over Telegram messenger for current issues, conduct Skype conferences several times to set up the goals & objectives, to clarify complicated business process. I’m really impressed by their feedback and suggestion how to improve or make more efficient the application.

They created a brand, digital marketing strategy, and a website. We started with branding. After I answered a series of questions, Tino Digital team prepared mission, client profiles, logo, and business cards.

Then, we crafted a digital marketing strategy. The approach was chosen after the first session. Project manager asked me a series of questions again, and together, we decided on the best way to proceed. We settled on a series of 10 weekly meetings during which we discussed and brainstormed solutions.

The last step was to create a website that would serve my business goals. Their team started with crafting the design and I focused on writing the content for the site.

I was given a list of the keywords, which were identified during the marketing strategy stage, to use that would help the SEO. After the design was approved and the content prepared the developer created the website and we went live.

Throughout the project I communicated with project manager, Anastasia, who was on top of all communications. Senior designer and a designer were working on the online brand for the school and the website design. Later, developer created the website.

My business came to life in better ways that I could have imagined. It was noticed by the community of meditation and healing teachers.

Online community, that we envisioned, targets high-quality participants and has a restrictive entry, already has over 400 active participants. It is a valuable source of clients and also joy, to share and communicate with like minded people.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was structured in stages. For each stage we had a first meeting during which all schedule was laid out and expectations.

We had a meeting for each milestone and I provided feedback. I knew what the team is working on and when to expect the next deliverable.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciated the effective communication. Continuously, I noticed that I was being heard. Moreover, I feel like it was a great value for the price.

I wish I knew how much work I need to do for the website, yet, I didn't want to hire a copywriter.

We hired Tino Digital Agency to create a new version of our web site and customer portal. We found their portfolio to be very impressive, and wanted them to reimagine our brand with their design eye.

How did you select Tino Digital Agency and what were the deciding factors?

We looked through several hundred portfolios of other design firms, and communicated with about 20 of them, but no one managed to impress us quite as much as Tino Design Agency. Our project manager, Anastasia, showed a thorough understanding of how our business worked, and what we needed to do to make our website more attractive to new customers.

We had a call to discuss our project in detail, and were then given a questionnaire based on our call to confirm their understanding. After answering their questions we received a detailed estimate of the work, and received periodic updates as well as opportunities for us to provide feedback. Key deliverables were website design in HTML, CSS and JS files.

We worked directly with a project manager and the technical lead. We were also invited to a Slack channel where we could interact directly with the other developers and designers that were working on our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still ongoing and the work has not been released yet, but the feedback on the work that has been done so far has been overwhelmingly positive. We have already lined up two additional projects for them once this is complete.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were willing to conform to our style of communication, and our team is rather hands off. They have always been available for meetings, however, and very responsive over email and Slack. Tino Digital Agency is an absolute delight to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The folks at Tino Design Agency understand human behavior when it comes to user experience. This, along with their willingness to learn about the nuances of our business, has made them a valuable partner for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have high standards, especially when it comes to outside vendors, and I legitimately have not found fault in any of their work yet.

I'm the Product Manager of the Cleanup Photo Library Cleaner app. My company, Codeway Studios is a startup company. We build mobile games & apps loved by millions of users around the world.

Tino designed the UI/UX of the entire product from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

The design quality is very crucial for our product. It's an iPhone app and it's essential for the user to have the iOS native look and feel.

We decided to outsource the design work of our new product and then started to search for a design company. We came across Tino's Dribbble account and we were really impressed by their work.

Tino designed the UI/UX of the entire product. They supported us on the user flow, concept design, app screens (approximately 120 screens), illustrations, animations (mostly Lottie), app icon, and storefront design (App Store screenshots).

Our project manager is Max. We have 2 assigned designers Fedor and Julia, also a motion designer Oleg working on this project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched our app on App Store. Comparing to its competitors, our product has the best UI/UX by far. We will continue working with Tino to improve it even more.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I really enjoy working with Tino. We use Slack for the communication. The project manager is easy to communicate with. He always responses on time.

We are in contact on a daily basis and we check the status of the tasks on the first day of every week. The project manager distributes the tasks among the designers. I also get in contact with the designers when I need to.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are quite satisfied with the quality of Tino's work in terms of their design style. They understand our requirements and come up with better solutions. They are also open to all kind of revisions and iterations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes the delivery of the work may take a long time since the designers are working on different projects as well.

However, we didn't have any timing issues with the urgent tasks as long as we prioritize them.

We interviews a couple of agencies, but decided pretty early we wanted to collaborate with Tino Digital Agency due their great portfolio and nice people, we got to meet in the first calls.

We approached Tino Digital Agency with a number of screens where we needed their input from an UI perspective. Additionally we have several ideas for mini games where we needed their creative input and design skills.

Every design had several iterations in the end and is easy to implement in our framework.

We had daily calls with Kostia, who managed our project and Nadia the designer for our games.

We are currently implementing the proposed UI/UX changes and the designs for the different mini games. So far we have only had very positive feedback from first test candidates.

We set out a clear plan at the beginning and had daily update calls throughout our collaboration. This was very helpful, because we could discuss any progress right from the start and really develop every design in the direction we wanted to.

We really liked the dedication Nadia took in thinking about options for the games and the positive atmosphere in our calls overall.

The project had three independent elements. First, they designed a logo to satisfy our requirements. Then they built a website to serve as a primary point of contact and advertisement of our services. Lastly, they created a PowerPoint pitch deck to use during investor meetings and conference talks.

We mostly stayed in touch with our project manager, but there were at least two designers and a software developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new design increased online traffic by almost 95% and allowed us to focus on a completely different market. Our pitch deck has already landed two big contracts and was a huge success at the two conferences. Customers can also identify critical information and initiate a contact request from our website.

I honestly lack the words to describe how outstanding our project manager was. She listened carefully and followed all our channels to understand every detail of our conflicting requirements. She perfectly translated our ideas and resolved every small comment we made. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their professional management and customer service skills. They cared about their work, instead of finishing it as fast as possible to make a quick buck.

In the beginning, the estimated timeline and price were much more than I expected. Closer to the delivery date, I understood why. Amazing work takes time, and it was actually cheap considering the quality. I wish that was clear to me from the start.

What were your goals for this project?

Our service isn’t easy to understand because there are many different possibilities for a broken vehicle engine. We wanted our design to show users that we offer the right services to solve any issues regarding broken engines.

We found them on Behance, and then we got in touch. The manager understood the requirements.

Once we selected the vendor, we started creating a briefing with the manager from Tino Digital Agency supporting us. Then, we had some online meetings about the content to make sure we didn’t forget anything before we started creating the design.

During the design process, we had the possibility to leave our feedback using a special tool that was easy to use. After design tasks were completed, they started on development. Meanwhile, our internal team worked on product data. When the online store was finished, they showed us the results in a workshop. They also trained stakeholders on administration.
