Brewery Brand
In a season of uncertainty and perpetual change (thanks, pandemic), there’s always been that one constant in our lives. Beer. That’s why we were pumped to partner with an up-and-coming beer brand, to help bring great flavors and killer design to tables across the nation. This is the part where we all say cheers.
We used the StoryBrand approach to develop a narrative, establishing a clear, unified brand message. Through our discovery process, we conducted a thorough competitive analysis, including their digital presence and media spend. Once we better understood the climate surrounding the craft beer market, we developed an effective media plan with marketing recommendations.
Fresh branding and a unique retail design will be used to complement the craft beer’s inaugural launch into the beer world. You won’t find a better looking can in the beer aisle. No bias here.

The Legacy Senior Communities - Website & Campaign
As Dallas’ premier Senior Living community, The Legacy required a digital platform that complemented its notoriety. Our team was eager to take on the challenge.
Over the course of a year, we dedicated resources to conducting a thorough Discovery process for the organization. Our efforts served to shape the website redesign process, as well as influence lead generation recommendations for 2021. Work included the development of a target demographic, lead time establishment and a refined logo and color palette. New photography and videos were used to update the brand, and will energize its message through website testimonials, email drip campaigns and direct mail pieces. The final product? An incredible site that best reflects an incredible organization.
We currently serve as The Legacy’s Agency of Record, which basically means we’re best friends for life. Our team will continue to take the lead on digital initiatives and provide guidance on future marketing strategies, including TV, OOH, digital, social and print.
The new site launched in August 2021.

Safe Harbor is the world’s largest owner and operator of marinas. Based in Dallas, Texas, the company is dedicated to providing exceptional service and memorable experiences to the global boating community.

Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum engaged Tegan to craft an immersive, interactive journey to match their incredible new 50,000 square foot facility. With a humble heart, we jumped at the opportunity.
Founded in 1984 by a group of Dallas-area Holocaust Survivors, the Museum is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. In 2018, the Museum hosted more than 80,000 visitors, including 34,000 school children.
We implemented a Content Management System, integrated a new payment system, and a CRM powered by Salesforce. The new site empowered the Museum staff to be able to update content quickly, sell tickets online, and provide research and materials to educators and the general public.
There’s no way to possibly cover all the Museum has to offer, but here are a few of the highlights:
-World War II Boxcar - After learning about the Nazi’s “Final Solution” to exterminate the Jews, visitors will come face-to-face with a restored Nazi-era boxcar. This was the first Holocaust museum in the world to house an authentic World War II boxcar.
-Dimensions in Testimony Theater - It’s real time. It’s groundbreaking. Interact with virtual Survivors in a specially designed space, where high-definition holographic interview recordings paired with voice recognition technology enable these incredible people to respond to questions from the audience, inviting one-on-one ‘conversation.’

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of The Birthday Party Project. We’re a nonprofit organization that partners with homeless shelters and transitional living facilities to celebrate children’s birthdays.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tegan Digital?
We felt there was an opportunity to rebrand. We wanted our website to reflect who we were and help solve other organizational efficiencies.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tegan Digital created our new brand identity, including a new color palette, ways to talk about our mission, and more. We initially worked through a story brand exercise to define the words we’d use to describe ourselves to our community. Then, they built our WordPress website from scratch.
The site offered our community an opportunity to learn more about who we are and how they could get involved with our mission. They also helped us with e-commerce. It linked to a donation platform called Funraise.
What is the team composition?
Our main points of contact were John (VP of Client Services), who led the team on branding and storytelling, Kelsey (Account Director), and Laura (Account Executive). Ryan (Design) was our creative, and Aaron (Founder) was probably the architect.
How did you come to work with Tegan Digital?
We met through mutual friends. We interviewed three different companies and ultimately chose Tegan Digital based on their talent pool, ideas, and price.
How much have you invested with them?
It was $65,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July 2020–March 2021. The process took about eight months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since our brand refresh, we’ve secured five national partners, which is great. Also, people have been really energized by our new site. It’s easy to navigate and donate, so donations have increased.
How did Tegan Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They kept us on track and held the deadlines. Overall, they were good. We did weekly status updates through Zoom and communicated back and forth via emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They did a great job communicating expectations and keeping us on task.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we were satisfied with their process.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Lean into your ideas and challenge their suggestions. We asked many questions about how they wanted to improve our website, which gave us the information we needed to make informed decisions. Therefore, communication on both sides is essential.

WordPress Web Development Services for B2B Branding Agency
“They produce beautiful, award-winning work.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work at Spire Agency, a B2B branding agency that specializes in logo design, sales collateral, messaging, positioning, and other engagement. I’m a senior account executive and have been with the company for four years.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tegan Digital?
Tegan Digital is our web development partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We work with Tegan Digital on several different clients that we have. They have built, maintained, and hosted WordPress websites for our clients. The team is capable of integrating different platforms and forms.
Tegan Digital is our go-to development shop. They have done everything from small to very large engagements. Their portfolio contains several of our clients, and we’ve worked in partnership with Tegan on their websites. Our side handles all of the creative, including design and copywriting. They support the wireframing process and help us define the pages and content. Then, they do the development from the ground up. We work with Tegan closely on the hosting and maintenance of all of our clients’ websites.
What is the team composition?
We work with a lot of their team members. Our primary contact is Aaron (Founder).
How did you come to work with Tegan Digital?
We have worked with Aaron since the beginning of his career.
How much have you invested with them?
Each project has a different budget. One website was a $100,000 engagement, while another was probably a $75,000 engagement. A third was about $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership has been ongoing since May 2009.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our clients have been extremely pleased with all of the websites that we’ve worked with Tegan Digital on. One site saw a 233% increase in engagement and viewership, so that was huge for us.
How did Tegan Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate on a daily basis via Slack. We also work with them through email. While developing certain websites, we had weekly status calls with them. They’re very communicative about their bandwidth, and they set expectations around their bandwidth for deadlines.
We know their working style and typically know how long it’s going to take for them to complete a project. We work really well with them and have a very close partnership.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Overall, their end product is always very polished. They produce beautiful, award-winning work. When we approach them with a project, we know that they can get it done and do so at the quality that the client expects. We really appreciate their work over that of their competitors because we know that the product and the end result will be of the highest quality.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have a very thorough process, so they take their time — it’s not a quick and easy thing. However, they do that because their work is so good. They take great value in their timelines and schedules.
Any advice for potential customers?
I would absolutely recommend them. They put out a great product, and they’re great people to work with.

Web Development for Financial Services Company
“They're a small shop, but they're very knowledgeable.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm a communications and marketing manager at a financial services company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tegan Digital?
We were looking for a company to redesign our website and help us with digital media.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We shared our vision with Tegan Digital and they turned it into reality. First, they gave us different design options and we provided our feedback. Then, they redesigned the frontend of the website and did a lot of work on the backend. We created the content, but Tegan Digital was responsible for the UX design and the overall look and feel of our website. It's a WordPress website and, initially, they also managed SEO for it (later, we hired someone in-house). In addition, Tegan Digital provided recommendations in terms of our social media profiles.
What is the team composition?
We have one main point of contact and we work with two or three other people.
How did you come to work with Tegan Digital?
The relationship had started before I joined the company.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay them about $42,000 a year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Tegan Digital in June 2013, and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They're a small shop, but they're very knowledgeable. We wanted to have a cutting-edge website, and Tegan Digital helped us accomplish that. They stay up-to-date with the latest technology, so they really helped us push our vision. We employ a lot of the younger talent, and they're all impressed with the website. The traffic to the website has also increased and we've seen a growth in our contract submissions.
How did Tegan Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They're always on top of things and send us weekly updates. We talk on a monthly basis and use email in between the conversations. They're very responsive and get back to us in less than 24 hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're small, nimble, and highly responsive. We had an opportunity to hire a PR firm, but we preferred to stay with Tegan Digital.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
RSW is a full-service marketing communications firm focused on delivering exceptional client experiences. For over 20 years, we’ve been helping regional, national and international clients find clearer, smarter and more effective ways to tell their stories. I'm a vice president at RSW Creative, and my role is to make sure that our agency delivers solutions that drive client success.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tegan Digital?
We create and manage multiple websites and online apps that use different technologies, so we were looking for a vendor to help us with a wide variety of development needs. We were also looking for a firm that could provide more than programming. We wanted a partner that could provide strategic insights and recommendations throughout the process.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tegan Digital mostly works on web development projects for our clients, and they manage both front- and backend development. They've created websites that are built in a variety of languages and platforms such as PHP, .NET, Ruby on Rails, and WordPress. RSW does a lot of upfront UX/UI work and hands it over to Tegan Digital to implement our designs. However, we engage with Tegan Digital early on in the design phase, and they provide valuable recommendations for improvements throughout the process. They also manage all the testing and QA to ensure we deliver a quality product for our clients.
What is the team composition?
The Tegan Digital team consists of a variety of account and programming staff. We are assigned one I have one primary point of contact, and the rest of the staff is very accessible if we need to contact them.
How did you come to work with Tegan Digital?
I've known the owner for over 20 years, and he is a person I knew I could trust to deliver for our firm. He has worked with some of the biggest brands on the planet and is obsessed with making sure a job is done right. He and his firm have been a great fit for all of our development work.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay them between $200,000–$500,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2014 and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Tegan Digital has worked on a number of websites for us that are tied to large international campaigns with a variety of unique challenges such as global customizations and translations. One highly-successful campaign, in particular, was mostly due to the engaging website that Tegan Digital had developed.
How did Tegan Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They track everything, so I always know about the status of the project. Tegan Digital implements a variety of tools such as Teamwork for project management. Tegan Digital has done an excellent job of staying on top of our projects and leading the development process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We worked with different development firms in the past, and we always had to worry about bugs or other issues with the code. Also, those firms did not provide the level of consultation and guidance that we prefer from our partners. We haven’t had any of those issues with Tegan Digital. They have a highly skilled and experienced team. Their code is clean, and they do an excellent job understanding our client’s needs and make strategic recommendations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At one point they were growing so fast, that we experienced some challenges with project management and juggling bandwidth. However, those issues were addressed very quickly, and I see that as more of an isolated issue due to working with a great company that’s in demand.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them a try. We've had an awesome experience with them.
Thanks to Tegan Digital, donations increased, the client gained five new national partners, and the site was well-received by external stakeholders. The team led an efficient project management; they met deadlines and provided weekly updates. Overall, the client was satisfied with their service.
