The quality of Techugo’s work is very good. I’m also happy with their communication; they update me on everything. Additionally, they participate in workshops with me and understand our business and manufacturing operations. Overall, the team puts a lot of effort into understanding us. 

How did Techugo perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines 99.9% of the time. If they can’t deliver on a specific day, they let me know ahead of time. We use Zoho for project management, and their communication is very good through Skype and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with Techugo’s communication and great quality of work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have high prices. However, they also have niche quality developers.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have a vision, you must also allocate your time to work with Techugo. They need to interact with you in order to understand exactly what you need. Because I gave them a lot of time in the first two months, I don’t get involved much now.

I'm the CEO of an education technology company. We have a mobile app that helps high school students and parents to plan students' future, including which career to choose, which course to go for, etc.

Our company started four years ago, and we started developing the mobile app during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we weren't able to finish it, so we needed help.

Techugo created our mobile app for iOS and Android. We had a clear idea of what we wanted; our requirements included the app being simple to use for both students and parents. The team helped us ideate the user flow and developed the UI/UX. They built the backend and posted the content on the app.

Their work is excellent, but I’m still not satisfied with the website. It’s good, but not as expected. They’ve given me the wireframe, and the site looks a little different from it, so they’ll make revisions. 

On the other hand, the app looks good — exactly how they presented the wireframe. Also, the app itself is selling subscription packages to the gyms.

How did Techugo perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re poor at meeting deadlines. We haven’t received the app yet, but we know why it’s delayed. They’ve communicated it to us.

They send updates once in a while, and we communicate via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is their most impressive trait. They’re very quick to respond to our inquiries and questions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a glitch on the clock that they put on the website. Also, the site was supposed to be in Arabic and English, but they only provided it in English.

Keep following up. If you follow up with them, they’ll be quick to respond.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techugo?

We wanted to provide service to Indian women who don’t have the best access to healthcare services. Our platform connects women to the right doctors and non-clinical practitioners like nutritionists so we can help them with faster diagnosis and long-term care management.

Techugo is our end-to-end technology partner; they came on board after finishing the design. They've been responsible for developing the website and doing everything from end to end, including maintenance.

We started working with the sales team, and we've briefly interacted with their head of IT architecture. We've also been in touch with their COO. In addition to that, we’ve had two project managers, one HTML developer, one backend developer, one frontend developer, and three QA.

There were times we needed to meet stricter deadlines, and they’d allocate more resources.

They've allotted resources to us and work very closely with our team. Also, we have daily calls, and their staff is very approachable. In addition, their COO is always available to straighten out any queries because we were learning and understanding many things for the first time.

They're always communicating with us throughout the process and adapting the resources promptly according to our requests. Overall, they’re very cooperative, communicative, and committed to deadlines. Regarding tools, we've used Zoom, WhatsApp, and phone calls.

They’re very responsive, transparent, and prompt in addressing any challenges we might have. Also, their communication and accessibility are very good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The speed of execution could sometimes be quicker — that was a challenge for the frontend resources throughout the project because the parts dependent on the frontend engineer were suffering a bit. Other than that, it’s been a really good experience overall.

Have a detailed spec ahead of time and have a conversation about what kind of resources you require, at what stage, and deadlines.

I’m Kapil Balotiya, CEO and Co-founder of Baltaaz. This is a restaurant with a lot of specialty cuisine based out of Udaipur.

We wanted to expand our reach and a platform that would be both user-friendly as well as easy-to-go for our side. The platform should also complement our day-to-day business.

Initially, we just had an idea of an application to order food. But Techugo showed us the vast possibilities where we can work and be a stand-out from our competition. We’ve discussed multiple scenarios, use-cases and the detailing in which those discussions happened were fabulous for both the customer and Admin.

We’ve had an initial launch and the way Techugo has helped after the launch to review and enhance the entire product was fabulous. We’ve discussed the enhancements in SOW and the team has implemented them in the already live product. The key deliverables are customer and captain Android mobile applications and a web admin panel.

After the initial discussion, there were around 6-7 people involved in this product.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They are really involved in the product. Even though we had to go out of scope for a few things but even though, we worked smoothly and always focused on our end goal. We’ve also faced a hard time because of the pandemic, but when things started to get back to normal, the team has started the work again from where it was halted.

From the initial analysis to the release, I’ve always seen the preciseness in project management. They listened to what we wanted to do and we were always given the best possible solutions. Sometimes, we countered the solution, and reasons were mentioned to us to take that particular solution. I would say that the entire process from start was very smooth.

Even though, if there were some delays, then they were mentioned in prior and the team worked on weekends also to get the work done in time.

We selected them because we were already working with them on another project (Sterkla Coaching App) and we have enjoyed an incredibly working partnership. It was a no-brainer to continue our association with Techugo. They are so pleasant, reliable and ethical.

We supplied them with the screen designs and met to discuss the framework of the project. They are great at quickly understanding the requirements and offering ideas and suggestions. Once they understood the requirements, they began the project and executed it really well.

Our primary point of contact with Abhinav Gupta - Project Manager, and then he liaise directly with the development team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This project is still in beta phase, and we are soon to launch version 1. We have had incredible feedback from those who took part in the beta testing. The comments were around the clean and simple to use UI. Techugo added attention to detail, with great little animations on the buttons etc.

They communicate very effectively, and I find that they are able to understand the requirements quickly. Skype and whatsapp calls are mainly used for communication, supplemented by emails and google sheet for bug reporting.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ethics, reliability, honesty and willingness to work hard to get the job done by the deadline.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I really can't think of anything worth mentioning. If you are involved in your own project and you give them the space to offer suggestions and ideas, they are incredibly committed and motivated.

I’m one of the co-founders of an organization that helps people explore the activities they’re passionate about, whether it is singing, dancing, or any other activity. We allow people to take their passion forward.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techugo?

We had an idea for a platform where people could connect with others related to activities they were passionate about. For example, if a user was into cooking, this person could display their cooking skills and have the opportunity to be hired by a restaurant.

We had already started advertising our business in the market, and we had good traction, but we were using WhatsApp groups and Instagram for our purpose. Thus, I wanted to create an application for our business.

Initially, we just had an idea, so we discussed it with Techugo, and they helped us develop our app. With this app, people are now able to get connected with their passion. It allows people to display their talents, connect with others, book meetings, and more. For example, if someone is a guitarist, they can find a band to join through the platform.

I’ve been primarily in contact with a project manager and another person from Techugo, but we’ve worked with around 10 people in total.

How did you come to work with Techugo?

I sent requests to different companies, searched on Clutch, and got in touch with several companies, but I decided to go with Techugo. Their creativity was something that attracted me to them. They showed me a few designs to demonstrate their creativity, and they made good suggestions, which also made me feel that they would be the best option.

One of the most important requirements for this project was the design, which is why it took me some time to choose the best partner. I really wanted someone creative. Although my idea wasn’t new, the creative aspect was important for me, and it was non-negotiable.

We started in April 2021, and our engagement is ongoing. The first phase has already been completed, but my partner has more ideas for features to add. We will add those features and then go live.

Techugo has considered my project their own, which is one of the reasons we’ve stuck with them and want to take the project forward. They are really doing a good job.

Initially, I was involved a lot in the project, but now I’m more focused on marketing. During the first phase, the person I worked the most with used to keep me updated on everything, and we had daily stand-ups. I was always informed about the project, which I really loved about her. This person was also professional, and she helped me determine how to take the project forward.

The project manager has also kept me updated in case of delays. We mainly communicate through Skype, and we are also in the same time zone, so we have phone calls from time to time as well.

The way that Techugo has managed the project is impressive, and I’ve really liked their quality of work. If they aren’t confident about the quality of their work, they don’t deliver it. They have to be satisfied with it before they deliver.

Techugo’s cost is slightly higher than others, but they’re nice and professional, and they deliver high quality. It is better to spend more money than going for a more economical option that doesn’t work for you.
