I’m the founder and chairman of an entertainment company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techno Softwares?

We needed help with web and mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a cutting-edge website and mobile application for us. For our WordPress site, they included functionality for our customers to manage their account and make purchases. Users are also able to make additional payments until everything is paid in full.

What is the team composition?

I work with four people from their site, including Sandeep (Director) and two developers.

How did you come to work with Techno Softwares?

We looked them up online and evaluated several different companies. After a conversation, we found they were the best fit for our needs.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent in $50,000–$200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2013, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They built out our site and managed everything efficiently. They’re excellent.

They’re great at meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality of work and quick turnaround time stands out.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they were on my time zone.

My advice is to be organized and upfront. Know what you want from them and they’ll help you bring your idea to life.

I’m the creative director of Purely Lush, a handcrafted footwear brand. We design and manufacture footwear with an Indian cultural inspiration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techno Softwares?

We wanted to build an e-commerce site that would provide a comfortable and easy experience to customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techno Softwares developed our website on WordPress, and they’re providing SEO and social media marketing services. We generally promote the social media posts that seem to be doing well. Sandeep (Founder & CEO) gives us a lot of input on how to provide a smooth e-commerce experience.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 3–4 people from Techno Softwares, including one project manager, one designer, and a couple of developers.

How did you come to work with Techno Softwares?

They were referred to me by someone who was very happy with the work that Techno Softwares did for them. We received quotes from other people as well, but this company gave us a very detailed and promising proposal. They also involved their top management into the discussion.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested close to 600,000 Indian rupees (approximately $8,200 USD) so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Techno Softwares in June 2019, and the website went live in July 2020. They’re continuing to provide maintenance and digital marketing services.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Over a period of 6–8 months, we went from not ranking at all to being on the first page of Google results for major keywords. We have good organic reach because of Techno Softwares’ work. 

The digital marketing work they’ve done has gotten me a lot of conversions, starting from the first few months. We don’t have a PPC budget, so all the results are due to Techno Softwares’ organic work. The designs they delivered are exactly what I was expecting.

How did Techno Softwares perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly Skype calls and we use Trello for project management. I put all my tasks and requirements there, and they complete them based on priority. Nothing is ever delayed. Techno Softwares always met our timelines. Their project manager has given me a lot of inputs on how to make the site better.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The involvement of their top management stands out. I think that few companies offer this. If I have an issue, I can get in contact with their CEO at any time of day or night. That’s made things much easier and more comfortable. I enjoy working with them a lot.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’ve had a good experience so far and there’s nothing I could mention for them to improve.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Coming to them with precise requirements will make things easier for both parties. I did a lot of research and was clear on what kind of flow I wanted for the website.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am founding President of Nonprofit FoodLynk. This Nonprofit focuses on helping the needy with food which otherwise would have been thrown away at large restaurants and bakeries

For what projects/services did your company hire Techno Softwares?

We wanted our offline model to be taken online so that it can be used anywhere regardless of the geography. We hired Technosoftwares for creating an app for this model.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a platform agnostic app where the Donor, Volunteer and Recipient could be connected- similar to Uber app. The objective was to create this ecosystem of these three personas in different geographies to help feed the needy.

How did you select Techno Softwares?

We looked at different companies on multiple platforms to get the right partner onboard. We had the constraint of limited budget. We needed someone to develop an app which is cost effective not only in the creation but also in maintaining as we go forward. Technosoftwares clearly stood out in the way they approached it and have continued to execute on it even today

Describe the project in detail.

Technosoftwares were partners in eth real sense. After the initial discovery phase, they came back with detailed tech specs and phase wise plan. We made changes along the way as we ourselves learned along the way, but our partners were flexible and we did not have issues despite minor changes along the way

What was the team composition?

Sandeep who is the CEO was directly involved though we did have an assigned project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our app has just been released in prod and we are sure that we will have good number of hits as we start with the social media campaign now

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used to have weekly calls and beside the project team, Sandeep was always there

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by their commitment to this project. Sandeep was always there and in some cases leading the discussion.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We did have a small hiccup when one of the critical resource went out of office due to family emergency, but I guess that could happen with anyone in any org. With the kind of backup plan and involvement of Sandeep, we did not have any issues
