We offer logistics services in Saudi Arabia through Mobile App and web application. I am the Business development manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire Tech Tinderbox, and what were your goals?
Initially we struggled to prepare the business flow for mobile app, but with Tech Tinderbox's help we managed to draft the phase I business requirement and we launched the application. Over the period our business flow is enhanced and now able to server about core business requirements both on mobile and web application.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Once we decided to develop the mobile app, we searched online for many IT companies and we interviewed them. We used to see the past applications developed by the IT company. After we seeing the portfolio of Tech tinderbox and their team's capabilities we gave them our project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Scope of work was to develop Mobile Application on (Android & iOS) platform and website for users. The requirement is to facilitate users to book transportation of commercial/ household items through Mobile app or website. React native is the technology used for mobile app development and PHP CodeIgniter for website development.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2 persons from tech tinderbox's team worked with us during weekly meetings. The positions in touch with us were: 1. Business Development manager 2. Project Manager
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
At first as we had difficulty in finalizing business models we got out of track and then tech tinderbox's Project Manager advised us to go with basic business model and launch the application. Then in phase II we enhanced the application that covered our overall requirement both in mobile apps & web application. Though we had some differences but we managed to get the deliverables as per our business requirement.

Tech tinderbox's project managers deep insight in logistics industry helped us defining the business requirement. They used to take give us update on development progress in weekly sprint and then we used to test the modules on weekly basis. They used Jira software for project management.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They defined the flow and let us know industry-standard processes. This helped us tremendously in the development.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There was 1-2 times late in delivery in weekly deliverable but overall after defining phase I and phase II scope it was sorted.
After initial difficulties, Tech Tinderbox had kept the client on track throughout the project. The vendor showed deep insight in logistics, helping the client define their business requirement. In the end, they managed to get the deliverables done as per their business requirement.
