Please describe your company and your position there.

I'am the Founder and Owner of Anima Land SRL which is a private liability company in Romania. Our company imports and distributes pet food and accessories in Romania and also we have an E-Commerce website called www.animaland.ro designed and developed by Tech Storm.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tech Storm, and what were your goals?

We hired Tech Storm to develop and design a new E-Commerce website for our business , because we didn't have a lot of customers on the old websites and we wanted a new, fresh website that can be more accesible to our customers. Our goal was to significantly increase orders on our website and to build a big customer Database.

How did you select Tech Storm and what were the deciding factors?* We selected Tech Storm because we heard that they made quality websites and user friendly websites , so that were the things that helped us to make a fast decision and to work with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a few meetings with them to discuss our goals and objectives, from the website design to sales we wanted to achieve with the new website. After the project started, Tech Storm team delivered Mock-Ups which were approved by me every week until we succeded with the project. The E-Commerce website was developed by them with WooCommerce and Wordpress. They uploaded and edited all the products from the website and make it look so professional. Also we discussed all the content, pictures from the website and they give us suggestions in order to look outstanding.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

What I loved the most was that Petru, who is also the CEO of the company, was very involved in our project. Besides him, 2 more of his employees participated on the design and creation of personalized banners working behind the scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the website was lunched, they helped us also with the marketing part ( they still work with us on the marketing sector ) we saw a 85% increase of traffic on the website in the first month with over 400% increase in sales. On the old website we got 1-2 sales per day and within the first month after the project was lunched we got between 10-15 sales per day. After 2 years of involving Tech Storm we are on top 4 leading pet shops in Romania with a huge volume of customers and orders. Right now in 2021 we are still working with them on the Marketing Sector beacuse they made a Fantastic Work. Customers love the new design of the website, that's why we have 80% customer returning every month to buy Pet Food for their pets.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We mainly use E-mail, WhatsApp and Google Meets to comunnicate with the team. Their team communicated well with me and my collegues. They respected all the deadlines we established, were always open to communicate when there were questions about the design.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us what we wanted. They met our most rigorous objectives, from the website design to increase the sales volume in such a short period of time. They were always available for me and my colleagues to talk about our project and our vision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We didn't have the slightest problems with the Tech Storm team. From my point of view, they are very good as they are, and if they continue like this in the future, they will come to dominate the web design market in the world.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of a Cameroon-based, Swiss-Cameroonian solar company. We sell and install photovoltaic systems in Cameroon regions with little or no access to electricity. I founded the company in 2015.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Storm?

We hired Tech Storm to redesign our website. In the future, we will need their team to work on different web-related issues.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tech Storm is in charge of updating the design of our existing website. They initially made some design propositions for me to choose from. Additionally, I sent them a document containing my preferences and my own propositions for the site design. We then started with the actual design process, and we continue to work on it now. Their team implements whatever I need to complete the new website.

What is the team composition?

I work with Petru (CEO & Founder) and two other people from their team.

How did you come to work with Tech Storm?

I was looking for a web designer based in Romania that could offer me a good product at a good price when I came across their name. I looked into their work and saw positive reviews from their customers, so I wanted to give their services a try. I was happy to hire them for these reasons, and I have not been disappointed.

How much have you invested with them?

We started in December 2020, and our project is still ongoing.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve spent less than $1,000 so far.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s hard to come up with concrete metrics at the moment, but we are looking forward to meeting our goals for this project. We are also thinking of hiring Tech Storm in the future for SEO work.

Web design is not actually a huge and complex project, but I appreciate Tech Storm’s positive approach to understanding my needs and implementing what I want to have on my website.

How did Tech Storm perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly use email and WhatsApp to contact each other. Their team communicates well with us. They respect the deadlines we give and are always communicative when there are issues we need to resolve.

Petru has been particularly helpful and customer-oriented. He helps me address my concerns with regard to web design and additional matters like shifting the domain to another provider.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Tech Storm’s price-to-value ratio is very nice. They are also a communicative team. We can rely on them to respond to us for support whenever it’s necessary.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They understand our needs well, but they don’t strictly follow our project description. In the future, they can try to start and stick with the customer’s instructions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Talk to them before you even start with the project, that’s part of their free services. By doing this, they can let you know how they get their work done. That will help you better understand what they’re able to do and what they’re not able to do.
